Seems like a lot of T-Mobile users, including me, are having trouble with the T-Mobile verification on the Apple Upgrade program’s Pre-Order site.  Getting the “Your T-Mobile account is not supported on apple.com”.  This is my 3rd year using iUP and first time with any issue.  Called T-Mobile and doesn’t seem like anyone knows what’s going on.  You guys should bring your old CEO back.

Same here. I don’t get that exact message but lots of T-Mobile customers are having problems with verifying their carrier information through Apple’s pre-order setup. I get a message about not being able to verify my wireless number/account. And it gives us no additional information about why or what’s happening. Just that I should try later.

@Abedi sorry to hear you’re having some trouble. Our Tech Care team should be able to send up a Help Desk ticket for you if there’s not one created already. We want everyone that wants the phone to get it so we’ll work hard on our end to get this squared away as quickly as possible.

Hi Mike, someone on the macrumors forums figured it out.  Accounts that had GSA discounts applied, even though the discounts haven’t applied in years, have had their accounts marked as GSA.  Service rep over at T-Mobile help was able to change it to individual and I was able to submit my upgrade pre-order from Apple.

I received my shipping notification today. Arrives tomorrow.  Anyone else????

Charge processed and shipping number received. Expected to arrive 9/24 Friday.

I got lucky, despite T-Mobile fking up my order. I’m ditching them because of this order snafu.

What was your original shipping date window?

SEPTEMBER  27- OCTOBER 4 OR 5TH.

At what time can we call Tmobile to secure a pre-order tomorrow on the Sept, 17th?  I been told three different answers when speaking with Tmobile Customer Service Representatives.  One told me 7amCST, one told me 8amCST, and the last person said they take my pre-order starting at 3amCST.  I like to know before I set an alarm for 3am, hehe.  Thanks!

@twinedwriter sounds like you found a good plan for you and took advantage of getting an upgrade. I do hope you feel good about it, and still get all you need on your plan. 

You mentioned you didn’t address the shipping. Do you mean you didn’t enter an address when you tried to process the order or the order has the wrong address?

On balance, yes. It was my decision to make, not one forced upon me. And the customer service has been excellent all week, as I’ve interacted a few times on Facebook.

Turns out, it is next day shipping, and so all is well there. 

I preordered on 9/17 @ 4:54 am. Shipping estimate date says 9/24-9/27. I paid for next day shipping so I expect it to get shipped out sooner. 

I ordered my phone at 5:02ish signed my EIP at 5:09AM on the 17th. Today I was informed that T-Mobile made an error and  my order had been canceled. I contacted support, I go to the end of the line and will get my phone when I get my phone so just deal with it. Great customer service T-Mobile, you  are the true uncarrier.

Since September 17th I’m not able to place an upgrade order through apple.com. After it verifies my phone number and SSN fine, it shows you have an outstanding balance on T-Mobile account while my balance on account is zero and all phones are paid off.

@HappyITGuy This could take some time depending on how long it takes for Apple’s site to recognize your balance is paid up. This usually updates pretty quick on our system. Our Care team can double check this on our side and escalate a Help Desk ticket for our system, but if Apple’s site is not recognizing the account is current, they may need to try escalating a ticket through their systems too. That way, we can tackle this on both ends.

@Cpmcjr this totally not the way we should handle this. Our T-Force team may be able to take a look at your account and see what happened with the order and what’s notated on the account. There’s gotta be a cause behind what happened. You can reach them by message @TMobileHelp on Twitter and they can dig into it further if you haven’t gotten an answer already.

lol @tmobilehelp. I spent over two hours on the phone with support including going up the supervisor chain. The issue was a technical problem on T-Mobile’s website, I am not the only one who was effected and there is nothing they can do. There is some good news. I found a better deal @bestbuy. Now I’m not locked to T-Mobile. Already in the process of porting my number to a more reliable network with better customer service. For what it’s worth I had been with T-Mobile for over a decade.

I preordered the iPhone 13 Mini last week. My bank account was debited for whatever the fee was for. It was $16.61, I can’t remember what it’s classified as. I did not receive a confirmation email, and there is nothing on the website showing that I have a phone on preorder. It just shows my 12 from last year. I’m also still getting the preorder advertising when I login, even though I already preordered. If nothing is online, and I never got any sort of confirmation, how am I supposed to know that it went through. All I can see is that my account was debited and nothing else processed.

double check your spam folder in case it tossed the response in there

same scenario..try contacting their T-Force team either through Facebook or Twitter..higher tier assistance with a WAY better completion record when it comes to issues.

They dropped your order. I got a text 36 hours later saying mine never went through. Sorry bud.

You are likely in the 2nd wave of shipments based off your date. First wave so far is 24t to 24th or 27th to 4th.

 

28th to 5th is likely 2nd wave unless you get bumped up. The estimates are conservative so customers don’t get mad.

Wife's was charged a few days ago, mine and my daughters was charged yesterday. Today I got shipping notifications that my wife and my daughter's phone will arrive tomorrow, nothing on mine. Womp. Womp. That's what I get for ordering 2 hours after the window opened, haha.

Don't think it matters when you ordered it, I think. I ordered my Pro Max at 7:55 AM EST on the 17th, just got charged yesterday, but no shipping email yet. I thought pre-orders would be on a first come, first served, basis, but apparently not. And if the Pro Max's are delayed for some reason, at least tell us, T-Mobile

Whether I do anything depends on T-Mobile offering similar trade in credit and the loyalty credit offered last year. If it does, I’ll for for a Pro Max.

Hey. I’ve tried to search for this in numerous ways but don’t see a previous question.

I’m trying to fill out the Apple preorder form ready for the preorder release on Friday and I get to the point where it wants to verify my T-Mobile account. The form asks for my wireless number and the last 4 digits of my SSN. When I enter the details it says the SSN does not match.

I have a prepaid plan so there is likely no SSN linked to my cell number. Is there a workaround or solution to this?
