Apple season is back with the most advanced iPhone, Apple Watches, and AirPods ever!! Did anyone else watch the Apple event on their website? I totally cried a little when they told the Apple Watch stories from real customers.

I personally love the new safety features. The Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via Satellite1 are really cool features that help us feel secure when we might otherwise have stressed. The different sizes and colors mean that there is an option for just about anyone. AND there is no SIM tray to struggle with and risk losing because iPhone is now eSIM only.

When I first got the Apple watch I have now, I debated if it was going to be super useful. It has been one of the best purchases ever! I have two small children so sometimes I forget my phone since I am juggling everything else. Since I have the watch, I never have to worry about not having a way to communicate if I need it. The addition of the new safety features on the new watches have me seriously considering upgrading! The Watch Ultra looks extreme in the best ways. The case comes up more to protect the glass, the whole thing is made more durable, and there are even more tools built in to make adventuring more about the adventure and less about all the things you have to carry with you.

Apple iPhone 14 lineup preorders started on September 9 at 5 a.m. PT with availability September 16.

Apple iPhone 14 Plus preorders started on September 9 at 5 a.m. PT with availability October 7.7

iPhone 14 and 14 Plus comes in Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and (PRODUCT)RED. When you are ready, you can place your order in all T-Mobile retail stores, online, and through the T-Mobile app.  You can also order over the phone if you contact us and speak with a specialist.

  1. Available in November 2022. Service is included for free for two years with the activation of any iPhone 14 model. Connection and response times vary based on location, site conditions, and other factors. See apple.com/iphone-14 or apple.com/iphone-14-pro for more information.
  2. The display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.06 inches (iPhone 14), 6.12 inches (iPhone 14 Pro), 6.68 inches (iPhone 14 Plus) or 6.69 inches (iPhone 14 Pro Max) diagonally. Actual viewable area is less.
  3. Battery life varies by use. See apple.com/batteries for details.
  4. Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE have a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth. Apple Watch Ultra has a water resistance rating of 100 meters under ISO standard 22810. It may be used for recreational scuba diving (with compatible third-party app from the App Store) to 40 meters and high-speed water sports.   5. App not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and is only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.
  6. Emergency SOS requires a cellular connection or Wi-Fi Calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone.
  7. iPhone 14 Plus available in October. iPhone 14 Plus is subject to FCC rules as well as consumer protection, contractual, and other provisions of federal or state laws. It cannot be sold or delivered until the FCC’s authorization process is complete.

i would guess the charging case for the pods can last up to around 30 hours before it needs to be charged?

3rd generation charging case. if you pull up Apples site and pull up the gen 3 airpods it says the same thing. charging case give the airpods up to 30 hours of listening time.

 

then again it might have been fatfingerd and when they hit e they also hit 3..but either way from what im seeing the airpods are gen 3 so maybe the case is as well?

I am a little concerned, as I pre-ordered the iPhone 14 Pro under the trade in promotion T Mobile was advertising. The Promotion showed I would be getting $500 to trade in my iPhone 11 Pro, but when I review the order online, it now says $220. If it’s really $220, then I will cancel my order. I called T Mobile and they told me it was the $500, but then why would it show just the $500? I think it’s a little deceptive and I’m very disappointed with T-Mobile in this experience.

The way it works is that it is an upfront $220 for the actual trade-in, then the rest is paid over 24 monthly installments.

Those installments are the real “promotional” part and are there to offset the monthly financing on the phone.

I was referring to the case3 part.

The three is supposed to be a little three to indicate that you should reference #3 in the fine print at the bottom. Legalese that had to be added to the post for it to be approved for posting. The formatting on the website didn’t let me make it smaller, so I can see why it is confusing. Sorry about that. I will try to find another way to put that if I have to use the legal stuff at the bottom again. :/

I pre-ordered the 512gb Pro Max on 9/9, and since then it’s been saying estimated ship date of 9/16. As of this morning, it still says an estimated ship date of 9/16 and an estimated delivery date of 9/16, but also that my order contains backordered items. Pretty confident I’m not going to see it today, or even this weekend, but wanted to see if anyone else is in this boat?

 

The upgrade page itself says it’s backordered until late Oct/early Nov. Since I placed an order already, do I get a spot in line?

i believe if they have already charged your CC you should be in the lineup.

My apologies, forgot to note this - they actually haven’t charged my cc yet. So I’m not sure what’s going on. I spoke to an agent this morning and they just gave me the runaround about they have no info and it “should” be shipping by tomorrow, but I’ll get a notification if/when it has a delay.

not sure. from what i have seen here and in the past unless you have been charged it aint coming/ready. if theyre saying its that back ordered that might answer why you havent been charged yet..to far out.

 

then again there have been many that ran into the same thing and then last minute got charged and got their phone within a couple days..

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking too. I called up 611 and asked the agent, and they’re basically saying this is the date promised by Apple and T-Mobile since I pre-ordered it, but throwing in a heavy asterisk lol “If we can’t deliver on this you’ll get a notification about it”

 

Was excited to get my new (and for me, first) iPhone. Last time I pre-ordered a phone was the Galaxy S8+ and literally got it on launch day with no issues. Before that was the Note 4, every other phone I bought on/near launch day without issue so I’m not sure what is so hard about this one.

yeah as each year passes on and newer phones get released those easy upgrades go out the window. add on to that companies are still having issues getting parts..i can pretty much bet that even on Apples end theyre running out of stock.

Preorders are an adventure for sure. @DJP1986 Since you have an order number and can still see a backorder status, you are in line to receive a device. If your order status goes to cancelled, that is when you should worry. While orders are being placed, we try our best to get an accurate ship date for the devices, but things can change based on how many orders come in and how many devices we actually get ahold of right away. The reason you have not been charged yet, is because a shipping label has not been created for your order yet. Once we put your name on a box, we will try to charge your card, so make sure you have the funds available. It can happen any time, but you are doing the right thing by monitoring your order on the app/website.

Given that the 14 Pro and Pro Max are the vast majority of sales, and that the 14 Plus is selling only around 5% of preorders, Apple may alter their prodiction to produce more of the Pro and Pro Max models so they can catch up with demand.

 

I’m having no issues, since I wanted the base 14 (out for delivery as I type), but it is very interesting to see how the pre-orders are progressing.

I order my iPhone on Friday the 9/9 as well and then it said it would be here on Friday the 9/16 and it didn’t get here so then I chatted with a agent and they were able to get me a ups tracking number and the package said delivered but I never got a confirmation of my package being delivered to my email and the package wasn’t at the location of the shipping address so I’m super confused about this whole thing

I ordered my phone the same day pre-orders started. I got an e-mail on the 12th saying that my order was cancelled. I have called T-Mobile everyday since then and get mixed information. Most of them say my order isn’t cancelled. I’m not sure what is going on but I am frustrated because no one can give me a straight answer. Someone please help.

If you are ordering the NEW iPhone 14 and are seeking any promotion for trade-in offers, please make sure the person who helps you includes the “Trade-In” when ordering the new phone because if they don’t you will not be able to get the promotion. In order to fix it, you have to return the phone they sent you, place a new order with trade-in and then wait for that phone to come in and activate before the promotion gets added to your account.

I ordered 3 iPhones last week  

My card was charged for phone taxes when I ordered

Since then i just see UPS shipping label generated.

But phones haven’t shipped yet.

 

My question is, I want to cancel this online order which hasn’t shipped

1-will I be charged with restocking fee ?

2- will my card be refunded?

 

I want to visit the store and get any available phone  instead of waiting for these for 2 more weeks

I also ordered 4 new phones on the first day of pre-orders (September 9th).  Expected ship date is October 7th.  I find it ridiculous that I can go an pick up a phone in-store right now, but have to wait a month to receive my phone.  Nobody from T-Mobile can give me a straight answer.  Really makes me want to switch back to Verizon.

What does it mean when your order status is “running”? I ordered an IPhone Pro Max and its shipping window started yesterday and the status changed from “Processing” to “Running”? I can’t find anything online regarding this.

Running is another way to say shipped. You should be getting that phone very soon! :)
