Only rings on old phone, not new one. Any ideas?

No, the new phone came with a SIM card; should I swap the one in the old phone to the new phone?

The SIM that came with your new device is not active. That should be saved as a spare, in case your SIM dies or becomes defective, unless the old SIM doesn't fit in the new device. If you need to activate the new SIM, call Customer Care with the number on that SIM to have your old SIM transfered to the new one. Otherwise, popping the old SIM in the new device will work fine.

not the most apple tec savvy of a guy but im almost positive your icloud is linked to your number.
