Hello, I bought an iPhone 6 in your t-mobile company and gave it to a relative in Mexico and he told me that he cannot put a chip on it since the phone says that the sim card does not validate there, what can I do? I need quick response

Do you still have a T-Mobile account and how long did you use the phone? T-Mobile sells phones that are SIM-locked to T-Mobile. This is because they are in the business of selling wireless service, not phones, and they don’t want to sell phones to non-subscribers. For a postpaid account, it takes 40 days of usage and the phone paid off before T-Mobile will unlock the phone. In short, you should have gotten T-Mobile to unlock the phone before you gave it to your relative. You may now have to get it back and call T-Mobile to request an unlock.
