Hello,

My SIM card this morning stopped working and phone says there is no SIM Card inserted and have lost all contacts.

sim card isnt linked to your contacts..thats all on the phone to handle. the sim card only tells your device which signals to pull in for TMO. have you tried powering your phone down. removing the sim card and cleaning it then throwing it back in and powering it back up? worse case hit up a TMO store and they can give you a replacement one.

I do not work for Tmobile and my suggestions and or opinions are my own**.~~~~ The site here is primarily peer to peer with some TMO moderation to keep the site in order..They do not have account access..The prefered method would be to contact TMO through either calling in (tier 1 support) or by contacting them through either Facebook/Twitter (tier 2 support)**~~~~

The SIM has a storage for contacts but almost no one uses it because it’s so limited. Most modern phones only allow you to copy contacts to and from the SIM if you specifically ask it to.

I’d do what @fireguy_6364 suggests and clean the electrical contacts.
