During this crisis, T-Mobile is doing our part to taking care of customers. Forbes in partnership with JUST Capital recently released it’s top Corporate Responders ranking and T-Mobile is at the top of that list.
Caring for Customers
Taking care of customer’s is the foundation our company is built on. During COVID-19, keeping customers at the forefront is more important than ever. Continuing to offer unlimited talk, text, and data plans is just one of the ways we give customer’s peace of mind. In addition to unlimited plans, we’re providing unlimited high-speed smartphone data to current customer’s who have legacy plans without unlimited data (excluding roaming) until June 30, 2020. We’re taking it a step further by giving customers the option to add 10GB of Smartphone Mobile HotSpot per month through June 30, 2020. Schools and students using our EmpowerED digital learning program can increase to at least 20GB of data per month through June 30, 2020 for more learning time on our network.
We know making a positive impact goes beyond the day to day tasks, so T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T are partnering with iHeartMedia to donate nearly 40,000 phone charges to hospitals across the country for COVID-19 isolated patients so they can stay connected with loved ones. T-Mobile will continue to fulfill these requests from hospitals nationwide. Finding ways to give back to the community is important. We’re donating more than $4M to support meal delivery and childcare services for essential workers. T-Mobile salutes the graduates of 2020 by pledging up to $200,000 to the non-profit Jobs for America’s Graduates through the #TossYourCap TikTok Challenge.
Being recognized by Forbes and JUST Capital is a huge honor. It’s a pleasure doing our part to make a positive impact for our customers and their communities. It won’t stop regardless of what challenges this pandemic brings. Continuing to help through these challenging times is an expectation we’ve set for ourselves going forward.
