Ready. Set. Travel! Today, T-Mobile is taking coverage above and beyond, pushing the boundaries of their own coverage map to 30,000 feet and abroad. Introducing T-Mobile’s latest Un-carrier move, Coverage Beyond the Expected, with free high-speed data in 210+ countries and destinations AND free in-flight connectivity and streaming all flight long on the biggest U.S. airlines.

The Un-carrier is flexing its post-merger scale to negotiate exclusive benefits just for T-Mobile customers, like AAA on Us for a full year, 25 cents off per gallon of Shell gas through the week of Labor Day, and launching T-Mobile TRAVEL with Priceline to hook up customers with exclusive deals, up to 40% off select hotels and rental cars. Boom. Start packing. Because this all starts rolling out on the first official day of Summer, June 21.

Read all about it and see offer details on our Newsroom https://www.t-mobile.com/news/un-carrier/coveragebeyond Limited-time offers; subject to change. Qualifying plan required. Restrictions apply.

Hi,

Does anyone know if the 5GB roaming is from Coverage Beyond is also true for Magenta Amplifed and not only Max? After all, they are basically the same plans. I don’t see it in my account.

Thanks

I have the same plan and still not showing up as part of my benefits.

I even called T Mobile and they couldn’t tell me since the additional benefits became effective today.

I have a trip at the end of July so I guess Ill have coverage in Europe, otherwise I’ll have to purchase a data pass.

Let me know if you have better luck.

I can see the following feature detail on my plan. This is a pity as it is then not like Max but any other Magenta plan. Sad as it does not cover the countries I am going now.

Simple Global (texting and data abroad)

Text and up to 5GB of high-speed data in 11 countries, then unlimited data at up to 256Kbps in 210+ countries and destinations.

I read somewhere that feature may different on Amplified between different employer agreements. Not sure if that is true. I did reach out to customer service and they confirmed, at  least in my case, that I am getting the same Coverage Beyond as Magenta Max. I hope this is true, and I will find out end of the month as I will be in Switzerland and Italy.

I have confirmed with costumer service and they told me I would get the 5 gigs but on the website still see the feature for the11 europeans countries only, so I don’t know what to believe! Anyways! I will still have to use that double sim to have coverage with high speed data!

What are the 11 countries where coverage is included?

Just to confirm that I do get 5GB with Amplified as well. Got the message when I landed in Switzerland. Works like a charm

@markf94107 it’s 210 countries for max/amplified. 11 countries is for plus

Plus, customers get the same experience of 5GB of high-speed data in 11 European countries — Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania and Slovakia — on Magenta, most business plans and equivalent Sprint plans thanks to T-Mobile’s partnership with Deutsche Telekom. Essentially, everywhere a phone says “T-Mobile” customers will get the highest speeds available for their plan

so you were able to get 5 Gigabytes (not 5g) of high speed data in Switzerland with Magenta amplified?!

Im going to Spain next month and I wanted to confirm.

yes works perfectly and it also shows on the account and got a text message when I arrived in Switzerland and Italy. Enjoy

you willl need to contact TMO directly either through calling or via Facebook/Twitter for this to happen.

I’m having the same problem and am getting frustrated. That's great! It sounds like your company has made the right decision to switch your cell service provider. I'll be on the West Coast so I'll be covered in the US .It seems to me like you've done well so far. How about you let me know if it works better for you.
