10gb high speed data

I currently have the Simple Choice Family Plan with 7 lines. The plan itself comes with “Unlimited Data with 2.5GB Smartphone Mobile Hotspot” would it be best to add “10GB of High Speed mobile hotspot data” if just 1 of the line requires additional high speed data before speeds get reduced during congested use?  Is that what the purpose of the 10GB of High Speed mobile hotspot add on does?

no. its for hotspot use only...has nothing to do with the regular mobile data side of things.

@fireguy_6364 so this does nothing to resolve data usage on the phone?  or will it open up 10GB high speed data so internet does not slow for that period of time (10GB)??

a hotspot is for using your phone to relay data to for example your laptop or something that does not pick up mobile data and only uses wifi.

 

which you can burn through 10GB pretty fast depending on what youre doing (watching movies, playing games etc)
