3g retirement text, LG G8 says 4g compatible

I received a text this week saying my device will not work after the 3g retirement, but when i check in my settings it says im on LTE, and on my Tmobile account on the tmobile website it says my  Lg G8 is 4g LTE and Long range 4g compatible. I chatted with a rep and they said my phone is only 3g compatible, and really didnt help resolve. Anybody have some insight?

if it lacks the VoLTE (Voice over LTE) then that would be why.

I do not work for Tmobile and my suggestions and or opinions are my own**.~~~~ The site here is primarily peer to peer with some TMO moderation to keep the site in order..They do not have account access..The prefered method would be to contact TMO through either calling in (tier 1 support) or by contacting them through either Facebook/Twitter (tier 2 support)**~~~~
