I recently moved and took my Cellspot with me.  I got text messages that I needed to provide my new address - or lose coverage.  I called 3 times to report my new address, kept getting messages and now lost coverage.

I try to update the location online - and am using the instructions - https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/4g-lte-cellspot-setup-and-help#address

Register the address of use

The 4G LTE CellSpot has to check its location when it sets up. If you need to register or update the address of use, follow these steps:

  1. Go to: https://my.t-mobile.com/home.html
  2. Sign in with your T-Mobile account.
  3. Select Profile in the upper right.
  4. Select Coverage devices in the bottom left.
  5. In the "Customer device use address box," select Edit.
  6. Update the address information.
  7. Select Save.

I can’t find Coverage Devices.

How can I update the address of use for my cellspot and regain functionality?

You can give Customer Care a call at 611 from your T-Mobile line or reach out to T-Mobile via DM to have your service address updated on Facebook or Twitter.  If you don't have a T-Mobile number, you can reach Customer Care through one of the numbers on the Cpntact Us page.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I have called 611 - in fact 4 times now, and the issue has not been resolved.  Somehow they have not been able to change the address correctly.

That is why I am trying to do the change online myself.

I used the twitter chat support.  The issue was quickly and successfully resolved.  I reported (to the twitter chat person) that 4 calls to customer support didn’t resolve the issue and also that the online instructions are incorrect.  He mentioned that he would pass on the fact that the information needs to be update.  Hopefully that happens.

I recommend switching service carriers honestly... TMobile customer service has been horrible lately. Might be personal because they haven't resolved my issue for months now but hopefully you have better luck.
