slow connection

What changed? I’ve had the new T-Mobile Internet for 8 months now. It’s been working really well until this past month. I keep getting “Slow Connection” on my screen when im in the same room as the device. I hope this gets figured out soon.  Staunton, VA

Is it possible that T-Mobile is finally getting more accurate on converage maps ?

Is it me … or does it appear like T-Mobile only updates their coverage maps with real dead zones when they have a mandate to … fix it ?For ~5 years, (TBH, since the old ‘verified coverage, as well as the ‘green’ maps), T-Mobile has stated - with the full fury of T-Mobile’s executive response team, office of executive management and people like John Saw/Neville Ray that ‘Our engineers have verified 5G and LTE extended range coverage’ at specific addresses, while showing it on their coverage maps and … stating that there are “No updates or enhancements” planned.Now, after more than a ½ of a decade and obtaining this in writing … T-Mobile now shows all of these areas as … “No Service”.  The ‘Happy Hill’, ‘West Village’, and ‘Marine Terrace’ areas have not had service in +10 years.  I’m not sure to be happy that T-Mobile is finally getting accurrate (which they have claimed they always have been) or that I’ve been gaslit for quite some time by their executives. I’m sure that there will be

Poor Data Service in Battlefield Blvd and I64 Area, Chesapeake, VA

Dear T-Mobile Support,I am writing to report a significant issue I've been experiencing with my T-Mobile service over the past few weeks. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and I have noticed that whenever I visit the area around Walmart and Sam's Club on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake, VA, as well as other stores in that vicinity, I encounter severe data connectivity problems.Despite having a full 5G UW (Ultra Wideband) connection, the data service is almost nonexistent or incredibly slow to the point where it becomes unusable. This issue persists across different locations within that area, which suggests there might be a problem with the tower servicing that region.Could you please investigate this matter? It seems like the tower in that area might need maintenance, or perhaps the capacity needs to be increased to handle the traffic more effectively. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide some insight into what’s going on and what steps T-Mobile is taking to resolve this i

Three years now I've had such poor service my 2000 dollar phone had become useless.  I live in SoCal so there is no excuse  I know this is widespread.  It's time for a class action lawsuit.  Let's get this going.

I have the newest gateway with the antenna... Cause apparently I'm bousie... I just can't spell it. Anyway. I can't seem to get several devices to connect to the second wifi network. (Currently laptop and 2 phones)

tmobile 5G

I have T-Mobile 5G service in my home. I am only getting 2 Bar signal (Weak) on the Modem, no matter where in the house that I move the modem. Most of the time it works fine for all my devices. The internet does lose connection frequently for about 1 minute. Is there a way to boost the single even to GOOD would be a great help! Sometimes i have to reboot the modem completely to get the signal back.Thank YouJohn Luft

Have not received Magenta Max service since May. TMobile keeps charging me each month and rfusing to unlock the phone I paid offg

I stopped getting my Magenta Max unlimited data and cell service in May. It just stopped working and technical support didn't fix it. No data use or cell service since then. 3 months without service. I tried to get them technical to fix it for A MONTH until I finally stopped my Autopay in June. I told them I was canceling payment until I got the services I had already paid for and credit for being without service. T-Mobile has continued to charge me the FULL Magenta Max price every month since May while fixing nothing. Antagonistic customer service scumbags refuse to stop charging me OR fix the issue OR let me out of the contract they voided OR unlock my phone that I paid off.  TMobile insists I "have service" when I can't make calls, have used 0 mobile data, and they stopped all my Magenta Max amenities like Netflix. It's extortion. It's fraud. It's theft. I need help

My account is 8 days old 4 days ago four things happened at the same time with my account 1.my primary account holder label that was on my profile dissapeared 2.a maneged network appeard on my device 3. five manage add on features are now avaiable  to me that were not before and these add on are indicitive of a Small bussiness account examlple one add on in particular state in the detail section that it requires your employer to enable it for it to funtion I aslo went to store where my device was compared to a consumer account device and my features did not match so now im on a managed network so some one can access my device Unauthorized without consent which is an invasion of my privacy if i dail 611 im dealing with the very scoundrols that are resonaible was told that a ticket was created and wait 72 hrs the thing is on a bussiness account your number on your device will be asigned with a plus 1 on a con sumer no plus one and plus one is how it is registerd on my device if you searc

I just wanted to report the worst customer service I have ever received by the T-Mobile customer service department. I have been with T-Mobile for over 5 plus years and never had issues before. When I asked to be transferred to the supervisor, she literally put me on hold for indefinite time and then finally hung up the call.   VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THERE IS SUPERVISOR THEN THEY SHOULD TAKE NOTICE AND ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why does t mobile suck

I can be in Chicago, south bend or Indianapolis and have full 5G bars with absolute no service.    There is no reason, if I have 3 bars on 5G, why my text messages will not go through.    I have been trying for 2 hours to clock back into my Workforce App, with absolutely no luck. Outside, inside, on the balcony, on top of my truck, out in the middle of the road and up at the Clubhouse. All 5G and absolutely no signal.  If yall tell me again “turn your phone off”.. how about yall stop lying about the service you provide.

Don't get a 5G connection

Had Home Internet for almost 2 years now, working great.In the last week, have been unable to keep 5G connection on the router, it goes to 4G after rebooting and stays there. I have replaced the router, same issue. My phones still have 5G connection during this time, any hints on what could be the issue?

What might it means to have a not fully compatible smart phone?

Hi, this ist Uwe from Germany. I will use T-Mobile network in USA while I am there. I did a check whether my mobile phone is compatible with the T-Mobile network. This is the result:Motorola Moto G84IMEI: 350162397257472Your device is partially compatible with T-Mobile’s network technology. I would like to know, what this will mean to me.Does it mean that in case my cellphone is not fully compatible, I will have no access to the T-Mobile network sometimes?Or does it mean that I will be able to use a slower connection only, instead?For example I will connect via 4G instead of 5G?May I ask you for an advise how to deal with this challenge? Will I need to buy another smartphone to be able to have a stable minimum 4G connection to T-Mobile network?Thank you in advance for your kind support and your answers!Greetings from Germany, Uwe

So I guess it was like Wednesday or Thursday 30th or 31st I think of July 2024. So normally my internet is around 30 MB download with a upload between 5 and 10 MB. So Wednesday or Thursday of July 2024 at the end of the month My download speed was anywhere from a 100 to 120 megabytes per second with an upload of less than one megabyte. It was like this most of the night I couldn't do anything because my upload speed was not fast enough for anything but my download speed was super awesome. Why is it I can get these speeds on a random case but I can't get them constant. No it's not because of working on towers I drove to the two towers I'm nearby and I went to the one furthest away first and nobody was there and then I drove to the other one and nobody was there that's the one I'm pulling off of it's less than two miles away well right out two miles away. Don't know why you can have such a fast download speed Just out of the blue and it no it wasn't because it's congested I've done talk

So I have the tmobile 5g home internet box and am getting a cel002 error code and net dropping but someone said it might be an overheating code. Any clarification on this by chance?! Thanks! Also had a previous router same model never had this dilemma before and this one does seem to run a little hot.

Excellent service

This past week I decided to switch my internet service from Optimum to T-Mobile.  I went to the store up in Mount Olive and was treated with the utmost respect, professionalism, and most of all kindness. Josh and Shawn could not have done more for me in setting up the service in the store and at my home. Josh took the time at home to FaceTime me to ensure that my service was working properly. I am grateful for all their help and I highly recommend T-Mobile and the employees that make the company successful.

So we have had T-Mobile Home Internet for the last 8months. We live out in the country & had a hard time finding a provider. It either didn’t exist or they put limits on the data. We were happy to find T-Mobile & even happier that it was unlimited! I work from home. Well today our internet was shut off & I received an email stating it was suspended. There was no reason for this…we were current on our bill & everything. I called them & was informed I wasn’t using my Gateway where i originally signed up & they had an old address of mine on file as my current address which I had never given to them. Anyways we got that straightened out but then I was informed that unlimited coverage wasn’t available at my address so I can switch to the Lite plan. I was like what do u mean it’s not available?!? We’ve had it for the last 8 months & we’re still currently on the unlimited!! It IS AVAILABLE! I was informed that as of June 2024 T-Mobile has the right to change the av
