Full bar but data not working

I have full bars of service but data does not work. It hasn’t worked for 2-3 weeks. It used to work but suddenly stopped working. It doesn’t work anywhere I go. I can search on safari, call and text but when I click a link it says “Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server”. I also can’t use apps. I’ve tried resetting network settings, restarting phone and getting a new SIM card. How do I fix this?

E911 adress update in order to use wifi calling

I have recently switched phones to the new pixel 6 and now I am unable to make calls using wifi. I have gotten a notification saying I need to update my E911 address but when I try to do so from the TMobile website, it will not even let me change the address. How can I resolve this issue so that I can use wifi calling again? Thanks in advance.

Virgin Islands Coverage 2022

I will be moving to the US Virgin Islands soon and currently use TMobile. Does anyone have a sense of how effective TMobile service is on the St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John? Im looking for information pertaining to the last couple years. The last post I see on this topic is 6 years old. Thank you!

Travel to Colombia

Hello, I am spending one month in Colombia and want to make sure I have the best plan with T-Mobile. I currently have the One Plan.Does the One Plan include Unlimited Calling and Messages to and from my phone while in Colombia without additional fees? Does it provide internet service without additional fees? Do I need to use wifi calling? If not, which plan would be better for me? Thanks!

service tower

Whom do I contact to make land available for a service tower in my area? There is a mountain between my home and the nearest tower. I have sufficient space that I can make available to erect a tower on this side of the mountain. I am tired of paying for service that I have to use a competitors wifi and internet connection and pay them as well.

Samsung watch over seas

I am about to deploy over seas for an extended period of time. I just recently switched over to tmobile and I included a watch line. How is this going to effect the watch being over seas. Namely I don't want to be charged extra for what it's doing now. Is there a way to just make it do everything except cellular service? Still receive notifications and such when paired with Bluetooth?

how to activate SIM without being able to call cosumer service

Hi, lost my phone so I ordered a new SIM card and am trying to set up on an old phone I have. Everything on the website about activating my SIM card sends me to the “contact us” page. But I don’t have the ability to call because my SIM card isn’t active!!! How do I activate my SIM card without being able to call costumer service? It is not a new phone, so when I power off, insert sim, and power on, it doesn’t give me a set up page.

NO INTERNET after converting to 5G

I bought a new iphone13 from T-Mobile and I could not get any internet all around my neighborhood in Los Angeles County even thought their coverage map shows full coverage.  T-Mobile tech support could not solve the issue and finally sent me a replacement phone.  That replacement phone had the exact same issue and after much time with tech support T-Mobile admitted this was an issue on their part and a supervisor would call me back the next day.  I have never received that call and I have reached out numerous times and finally told them to return my old iphone SE which they said they would do within 24-48 hours but they never did.  I’ve reached out to them several more times but am all but ignored.  Why would 5G cause a worse connection than 4G?

I was configuring my Nokia G50 to deactivate receiving voicemails. While doing so, I noticed my 5G phone was listed in my home network’s area as connected 2.5G service, which it wasn’t before. I re-selected 5G, and all seemed well. Until, I turned my phone on again later. Whereas, previously, it always in the upper left corner verified I was a T-Mobile customer,  suddenly it was indicating I was on AT&T. My SIM is T-Mobile, and always was from the time I got the phone, and signed up for T-Mobile. Why is it telling me it is AT&T now?

Not receiving key code generated by Spanish bank

I seem to receive codes from everywhere except my Spanish bank.  This is causing a major headache for me as without these codes I cannot process payments, add beneficiaries etc…. We’ve spent hours sitting in the bank with them trying various things to get this changed.  Can you tell me what either they or I need to do to enable this.  Where they have entered my number they have selected United States from their pull down list of countries and then put in the correct number.  It does however show up as xx xxxx xxx.  A Spanish number shows as xxx xx xx xx  (this is without the country codes included.  so they both show up as having  9 digits but we don’t receive these codes from the bank.  We did receive this message via sms/text.  How can we get this fixed please?

TECH SUPPORT FAILURE

TECH SUPPORT FAILURE  I have had problemes with erratic connections dropped calls and delayed messaging for well over a year at my home in central Dallas. address is on account.I have spent hours with tech support with suggested interventions making no difference. They have suggested and I tried local repeater , replacement of local repeater, reconfigurations on several occaisions and lastly a replacement of my phone for " increasing bands" by Tmobile with a EOLed refurb that had the same exact band coverage and a charge of full retail of $350 ,(fortunately negotiated to a more reasonable charge).This refurb has lasted 6 months when the screen failed. (Unwetted, apple only accesories and no dropping, well cased and not a scratch on it). Away from my home , a widely fenestrated 20's bungalo without apparent structures or geographic obstructions, it seems to work well. I was able to move the SIM card to an old 5s while I decide my next move. I GET 1 bar and frequent  “NO SERVICE”This has

Need stronger signal

At our house we have dropouts during phone conversations too often.  We seldom have 4 bars here, usually just 3.  Is there anything such as aftermarket hardware to strengthen the signal?

How to report 5G dead spot?

According to 5G coverage map, we are supposed to be in 5G Ultra coverage, but our street only gets LTE, and the next street over also only gets LTE,  everywhere else in this neighborhood in West San Jose gets 5G UC.  The whole length of Doyle road only gets LTE, but at each of its ends (Lawrence and Saratoga) there is 5G UC.   My 1000 dollar iphone is kinda wasted on LTE.

I have yet to see a 5g symbol on my phone

I followed the tutorials to make sure 5g was turned on and it is all set up correctly. But I have never seen the 5g symbol, which leads me to believe that the signal I am using is not 5g.  Please help,

T-Mobile 5G - 1 1/2 years later

I’ve posted an initial T-Mobile 5G experience with LG Velvet (in the fall of 2020), and a summer road trip / review in summer of 2021 on the east coast.Here’s my basic review 1 ½ years after T-Mobile deployment of 5G.5G signal (n71 SA/NSA) has still increased, but not very much since the summer of 2021.  This may be in part due to COVID, and also in part due to T-Mobile revisiting sites to deploy n41, but is still increasing. Performance overall on n71 SA (standalone) has actually decreased in many areas.  Where I could obtain ~150Mbps on n71SA or 400Mbps on NSA with LTE, performance (speed) has dropped to 30-60Mbps typically on n71.  5G n41 (SA and NSA) has been deployed in my area over the past year, much of that in the past 6 months.  n41 has been deployed to many communities.  This is the good part.  Many of these are typically on large macros, and is much more spartan than the maps show.  Much of this is 5G n41 NSA, and only urban areas (i.e. LA Basin) have n41 SA deployed.  Most

When I tried to make calls it said “your T-Mobile account balance is too low to complete this call. You must refill your account to complete this call” even though I JUST paid my bill and my phone was working just fine both before and after paying it.

how can I learn about home internet?

I have heard good things about T-mobile internet, but Spectrum has been the only service available. Now I see that 5G is offered in my area, but there’s a “8weeks” mentioned in the header. Do I need to wait 8 weeks to get on service? I work from home and need dependable high speed internet. Every time I try to get more information I get a “bad Feed” or 401 code for the link, and the chat feature perseverates like it’s had a bad TBI. How can I get more information? I’ve been a phone customer for maybe 20 years and love my service.

Tmobile to Tmobile calls

We have been having problems with calling each other if we are close. I know, why do we need to call each other? First of all misplaced phones. I live with my 76-year-old mother-in-law and she loses it all the time.When we call the phones, we can’t hear a ring tone on the caller end, it does not go through to the receiver, and goes to voice mail if you stay on long enough. It happens more often than not, but there does not to seem to be any pattern.

stalled data repeatedly since merger

-Internet throughput stalls to near zero SEVERAL times a day. -Temporary fix is toggling airplane mode off and on. (Data will then flow until phone then is left idle for some minutes - MERE MINUTES - have to then repeat the process if not on wifi). -Convinced it happened after merger. -Happens across country (sadly, have multiple lines with this company .. all using different device brands). -T-Mobile should come out and ACKNOWLEDGE the problem and give estimates as to a fix (because I’m ready to take my service anywhere else).
