I have a old tablet that I'm trying to unlock to use with a different SIM card it claims that it's an old T-mobile tablet but I actually got this tablet from the Free Library of Philadelphia I'm trying to figure out how do I unlock it since I no longer use T-Mobile and I don't even have a number or anything else for this tablet I just wanted to use it for the internet if anybody have any ideas could you please let me know ASAP this is Cowboy hee-ha0929 thank you very much and have a blessed day.
One of the requirements to SIM unlock any device is, that you must be a current T-Mobile customers. The device would also have to meet network usage requirements and your account would also have to meet the requirements for a SIM unlock as well.

Too add on if this tablet was part of the Lifeline plan you would need to contact Assurance wireless to get the code. They use Tmobile towers.
What kind of tablet is it? The steps you need can be pretty different depending on what make and model you have. Since you say you don’t use T-Mobile anymore, I assume that means that you did have this tablet activated on a T-Mobile line at some point. Is that right?
