My mom has been a member with T-Mobile for like 12 years now and I have nothing but good things to say abuot them, but this 360 Protection is HORRID. I sent out my cracked phone and received a replacement in the mail. Easy right??? Yeah too good to be true. A week into my new phone, the screen stopped working. It has been a full 24 hours without a phone. I called them and they say it will take 24 hours to send me a “label” which I then have to drop off at Fed Ex… and then I will have the phone shipped to me after the broken phone is processed by Fed Ex. They sent me a defective phone and I should get a new one instantly. This is ridiculous that I have to wait AT LEAST 3 days to get a phone after THEY SENT ME a defective one. In fact, I wish I just kept my old cracked phone. AT LEAST IT WORKED!!!!
I am not able to forward calls on my galaxy note 9, which I believe after a software update. Whenever I go to call settings>supplementary services, I get an error"Failed to read data. Something went wrong. Check your sim card or network connection and try again."Does anyone having the same issue?
To those who are having an issue with your 4G LTE CellSpot suddenly stop working after a power outage or reset on the Spectrum/Charter ISP network, I have a solution. I am an independent network engineer and the solution took over two months to find but it was worth it. T-Mobile requires that your ISP open the following UDP ports 123, 500 and 4500 with 4500 being the main port for access to the T-Mobile server that allows the 4G LTE CellSpot to connect to the internet. With that done, the CellSpot is able to download your configuration files and access your user profile so that you can get cell coverage in your home. People have been complaining that it has taken up to 5 days for the CellSpot to sync and start working. But that is not why to takes so long for the CellSpot to start working. The real reason the CellSpot stops working or takes days to resync is because your profile has become corrupt and it no longer knows your account information on the billing backend of the T-Mobi
Hello,This was not a problem before the upgrade. Now I am needing to re-enable wifi calling daily it seems. I suspect it turns off when I leave wifi, and even though the preference is to use wifi for calling, it has to be manually re-enabled all the time. How can i get it to stay enabled? Thanks!
I just switched back to TMO from ATT. While going through all the transfer stuff I noticed that the S20 FE does not offer the "Knock Knock" notification sound that I used on my ATT S9.1. Are notification sounds carrier specific or device specific?2. Is their a way to import the knock sound while I still have the ATT S9?3. Or is there an App with custom sounds? Thanks
Why does the latest T-Mobile App (188.8.131.52 Jan 28th) say the app is not yet ready for your account type ?
I have been using the "T-Mobile My Account" app (version 184.108.40.206) on my LG Leon phone for 1 month now.My plan is "Simply Prepaid (1GB 4G LTE)".Last night, during 'update all' from the play store, the "T-Mobile My Account" app was replaced with the "T-Mobile" app (version 220.127.116.11 - released Jan 28th 2016). However, when I launch the "T-Mobile" app I get the screen saying:-SORRY, WE'RE NOT READY FOR YOU YET!Unfortunately the T-Mobile app is not yet ready for your account type. However, please check the link below to be redirected to the My T-Mobile.com website. I also lost the drop down information that told me my account usage. This is very inconvenient and it also requires more data to 'browse' for my usage. Luckily, I was able to "uninstall" the updates and resume my previous app. Why does the new app not work with my account type ? Are there plans to fix this ?
I used to be able to access all websites from my laptop via hotspot, but lately I can't access some websites (amazon, ebay, etc). Has anyone reported this?Phone: iPhone SEPlan: T-mobile OneLaptop OS: Windows 7Web browser: Firefox or ChromeI can access many sites (such as yahoo), but not others. When I can't access (for example, amazon.com), I get "We can’t connect to the server at www.amazon.com" on firefox or "This site can't be reached" on chrome. I can access amazon from my phone directly. I can also access amazon through my laptop (same laptop) via wifi at home. Please let me know if you need additional information.
Hi, I'm planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra model SM-G9880 because that model has the Dual SIM feature.I heard it may have some limitations with the network in the US. I'm not sure if its 5G would work with T-Mobile's network or if only 4G does. I read that this particular model works with these bands:4G: LTE B1 / B2 / B3 / B4 / B5 / B7 / B8 / B12 / B13 / B18 / B19 / B20 / B25 / B26 / B28 / B34 / B38 / B39 / B40 / B415G: Sub-6 N1 / N78 / N79Can anyone tell me if this model works just fine with T-Mobile?
Hi, I was just sent a 4g LTE cellspot from T-Mobile to help with the low cell signal that I have in my home. It seems pretty easy to set up, however, when I went to my modem (which I have via Spectrum), I saw that there was only one ethernet port and this was taken up with my router. Now, on my router there are a number of ethernet ports that are designated as "LAN" ports, but there is only one yellow "WAN" port. Can I plug the Cellspot into one of the LAN ethernet ports on my router, or do I need to buy an ethernet switch or something so that I can more or less multiply the number of WAN ports on my modem? I am completely new to this so any advice will be most appreciated. Thanks!
I have submitted this same issue with OnePlus.I am on my second OnePlus 7T Pro 5G purchased directly from T-Mobile and the phone is not able to hold a GPS signal while getting directions in ANY mapping app (eg. Google Maps, Waze, etc.)What happens is that you enter a destination in the mapping app and start the directions. A use case used a bazillion times by a bazillion users. On your route for no rhyme or reason at no specific interval, the mapping app will lose its connection to GPS and the arrow where you are on the map will freeze at your last known location. While you continue on your way, at some point the mapping app will reconnect to GPS and find you and you will "fast forward" to your current position on the map. This happens multiple times during your travels at varying intervals.I have captured this with a screen recording using an app called GPS Test simultaneously with Google Maps. The link is below. The time stamps of note are:Three examples in one video. 1st one sta
Text messages aren't forwarding that have been sent from Android phones, but Iphone Imessages are forwarding fine to my new Iphone 8. I don't want to carry 2 phones so trying to have work and personal calls and texts forwarded to same phone. Any suggestions of what to try? Thanks
I use Google Voice for voice mail. I have always made sure this is set up by going into the call forwarding screens and then putting my google voice number in there. But today it is all grayed out. The background is - within the last several weeks, (and it was not immediately after installing any updates, so if there was an update installed, it occurred unbeknownst to me) my s7 Edge began experiencing EXTREME battery depletion. I had done everything I can to figure out what is causing this, but have yet to do so yet. Then, as of today, my text messaging started not working. So I installed a third party messaging app I have used in the past with no problems, and after a few messages in that app, the same sms/mms sending failures started happening with that app so I returned to the stock app. I did a cache wipe, uninstalled and reinstalled wifi networks... I shut down and restarted and phone and set phone to wifi preferred. WIth this setting, the call forwarding settings are greyed out.
My phone (LG-V30) gives me way too many alerts telling me "Calls will be made over Wi-Fi". I seem to get this every time my phone connects to Wi-Fi, and sometimes multiple times when my phone should already be on Wi-Fi. Sometimes I get this alert every few minutes. I get so many of these alerts I usually ignore alerts from my phone. This alert is not useful information. The alert comes with a message "tap here to access preferences". If I tap this gives me an option to turn off Wi-Fi calling, but not to turn off the alert. I've also looked through settings and found options to turn off alerts from apps. I turned off alerts from app "T-Mobile", but this doesn't affect this alert. None of the other app options seem to apply to this. Is there some other setting to turn off this alert?I know my phone can do WiFi calling, but can it do it silently, and not alert me multiple times a day it's able to do this?
I’ve noticed that AT&T and Verizon have already begun preorders for the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2….Any idea when T Mobile might join? I read somewhere that TMO isn’t doing preorders but will have the phones available at launch on September 18. Can anyone confirm?
