I got a new mesh extender (first one died with the solid white light, just like so many other people here). When I got my first extender, it was super easy to set up with the app when I set up my gateway.

So I scanned the QR code of instructions that came with the new extender and the instructions/graphics do not match what shows in the app (which I just updated). There is no option anywhere in the app to “add new access point” anywhere.

There’s an ethernet cord included but no instructions.

This $ucks. I’m starting to think Xfinity wasn’t so bad after all.

I use a eero mesh system in  my house that is independent of the T-Mobile gateway. It connects via a network cable and plugs into the  bottom. I have the base unit and two extenders and get 100% coverage in my home and yard. I found it runs faster than the built in wireless network. I will add a link where I bought mine.
