When I installed the T MOBILE router I had to use the HP assistant to connect my printer and was able to do so. However when I print the printer  does not stay  connected even though I have connect automatically checked. If I click on the connect button for the printer in my wireless selection it will connect and print but my desktop is then  disconnected and have have to then reconnect it. Not sure why the printer is not always connected and why I have to connect it for it to print.

Thanks

The same thing happened to me. I had to accept it on my printer and it hasn't happened again. It is a ye or no question on the printer screen. Hope this helps.

Ive got my laserjet and I was able to set it up today with tmob home internet latest trash can shaped modem.

All you have to do is connect the LAN cable with printer and other end to the modem.

Next set up the printer as LAN printer. Next open the IP of the printer in your browser and connect to wifi network. Now remove the LAN cable and you should be able to discover your printer on wifi network. If for some reason your printer doesn't show up wifi network then it could be encryption issue. Try changing the encryption using curl command. More on changing internal connection parameters can be found here..

I hope it is helpful for someone.

If you have an older printer that does not support WPA2 or WPA3 be sure to allow WPA as well on the 2.4GHz wireless. Probably not an issue with newer printers but could be with 5-7 year old printers. Ours was an Epsom Workforce 845. After allowing WPA, WPA2, & WPA3 problem solved.

If problems still persist there are always vendor FAQs and online manuals that should help.
