I pay for Peacock Live so I can get my local news but now it's showing news in Charlotte NC and I'm in Yorktown, VA. our news comes from Portsmouth/Norfolk. This has been happening for over 2 weeks. I thought T Mobile was working on a work around. How can I get back to my local news and stay there? I really like the service on streaming it’s so much better than we had with Verizon. Help
Hey all, I’ve had the black 5G gateway for a couple days now, and have been a T-Mobile customer for just as long. I guess the issue I’m having is looking like one that a lot of other people are as well.During the day my gateway pulls about 500 Mbps and has a “Very Good” signal. Without moving or changing anything about the setup, usage area, or anything, around 8PM Eastern my speeds go down to MAX 5 Mbps.Nothing has changed other than the time of the day. I have a ticket open for the “local engineering department” to troubleshoot. It’ll randomly be good during the night and then go back to the unusable 5 Mbps.I relayed this to Customer Care, and while they seem sympathetic to the plight, they ultimately just want me to continuously restart the gateway so they can reconnect it to the tower because it has “stopped communicating.” Is this the common reply that everyone is getting? Restart on restart while waiting for engineers to troubleshoot your wifi, only to then get told you need to r
Trying to triage the issue below and the tech read from some specification documents that the new models do not support IP4, you must upgrade to a business planThe following was from my PC wired into the hub From Home:Tracing route to microbiomeprescription.com [126.96.36.199]over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 * * * Request timed out. 2 * 192.168.1.1 reports: Destination net unreachable.Trace complete. From Office (Remoted in)Tracing route to microbiomeprescription.com [188.8.131.52]over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 2 ms 2 ms 1 ms Docsis-Gateway.hsd1.wa.comcast.net [10.0.0.1] 2 13 ms 11 ms 11 ms 184.108.40.206 3 11 ms 10 ms 14 ms po-305-1222-rur102.ferndale.wa.seattle.comcast.net [220.127.116.11]

I’m no longer able to lock on to B66, N41 which had great speeds (300down, 130 up). The Arcadyan is now locking onto B71 which gets 60down, 5up. I think I’m still connecting to the same tower (i think the CGI is the same). Anyway is there a way to make the gateway connect to the 5g signals again? It is in the optimal spot, upstairs bedroom in the window facing the tower, still showing “excellent” signal, however the advanced cellular metrics are nowhere near as good as they were with B66, N41/N71. the only new thing I noticed is that the firmware is no 1.00.20, not sure when it updated.just wondering if anyone has suggestions to try. I’ve only tried restarting the gateway hoping it’ll see the 5g again. My cellphone using Tmo’s tower gets 682down 92up.
The system recognizes my email address but then it take me to the page to link my phone number with my account and it doesn’t recognize my phone number! Means I cannot access my account to do any management. They have a bug in their system that is not recognizing phone numbers. Not sure why tech support doesn’t have an option on their side to manually link the phone number to the account. I have spent a lot of time talking to tech support but no solution. This is a development issue and I believe that because I am a retired developer who proved support for several years. There are a lot of customers reporting the same issue so not sure why they aren’t fixing it.
PSA for anyone unable to register T-Mobile ID for home internet: quick fix that support is not aware of
After going through several useless support specialists none were able to help me. However, the after seeing a suggestion from another user to capitalize he first letter of your email address worked. There is a major bug in their system that is not registering emails when the first letter is lowercase. Use this link to set up your ID, make sure its the sign up page that asks for the phone number associated with the account - the home internet sign up page will not work at all. https://account.t-mobile.com/signin/v2/enterPhoneNumber?redirect_uri=https:%2F%2Fwww.t-mobile.com%2Fsignin&scope=TMO_ID_profile%20associated_lines%20billing_information%20associated_billing_accounts%20extended_lines%20token%20openid%20vault%20role%20consent&client_id=MYTMO&access_type=ONLINE&response_type=code&approval_prompt=auto&prompt=select_account&state=eyJpbnRlbnQiOiJMb2dpbiIsImJvb2ttYXJrVXJsIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cudC1tb2JpbGUuY29tL2FjY291bnQvZGFzaGJvYXJkIn0&loginId=&fp_clien
Go to TMoible they said...It’ll be fine they said. This is hands down the WORST service I’ve been with, and I went through AT&T and Cingular. The Assurant Insurance group is either grossly incompetent or committing Fraud. Three months later and $700 charge they finally tell me the “package was empty” but cannot provide any proof it was empty. DEAR TMOBILE I will make it my life’s mission to tell everyone I know just how badly you take care of your customers.
When I signed up five new lines with T-Mobile, I was told by Deaven, the phone agent, that he could give me $400 off a new iphone “now” or if I go into a T-Mobile store that would give me $800 off. I went to the store and was told that the information was not correct and they could only give me $400. I then called costumer supports again, and was told that I misunderstood what Deaven told me. I then called back again and was told that not only was I not getting $800, or $400 of I was only going to get $175, I then asked to speak with a manager. She told me that I was eligible for “Keep and Switch” promotion, in which I would be able to get $800 for each phone line I have. She sent me the link to sign up, and said she’d call me back in an hour. I read the terms of “Keep and Switch” and she was incorrect it only pays for remaining balances from my previous carrier, so she lied as well, and never called back. I received a text asking how was my experience, and I gave 0 out of 10, so today
I am trying to hook up my wife’s smart TV so she can stream. Using the AF3 gateway. It is recognized by the Smart TV, but is asking for an SAE password. I have put in the password on the Gateway, but that does not seem to be it. Was wondering if the Gateway might be a bit far from her TV, as the signal we get here in the Country side can be only one to two bars at best. The TV in the Living room where the Gateway is located, works fine.
I have the Arcadyan KVD21 Gateway and a Canon PIXMA TR4520 printer. I have tried multiple methods to connect the printer to the T-Mobile wifi network and am still unsuccessful. Currently, I am attempting setup using the Canon Wi-Fi Connection Assistant. In Network Settings, the T-Mobile network encryption type shows up as Do Not Use. Is there a way to change the encryption type on the network? Would that enable the printer to access the T-Mobile wifi? Any and all suggestion welcome. I have tried T-Mobile tech support, but they cannot help, saying it's a printer issue.
Now I only had this for a few days I think it’s worth 50/mo considering speeds are a coin flip, but I mainly got this to Hopefully Improve stream quality to twitch and stuff. The 100+mbps download is amazing though inconsistent which right now is fine. I don’t like not having at least 10MbPS up! Speed test for download goes up and down I’d say i average about 100 mbps realistically (Min so far 15 mbps max so far 200 mbps). I once had a spot where I got 13 MbPS upload I got happy just to retest and see it went down to 6… badum tsss! Do I need to test every inch of my house to find out that my hopes and dreams are crushed?
Hi, I got the new Home Internet Cylinder router. Pretty simple setup but the speeds are good and the price is right. I have a few devices I have always used WPS to connect. Some extenders and some indoor cameras. Can’t figure out how to do it now. I do not see a WPS button.Am I missing something? The interface is so simple but maybe it will get better with time. Thanks
We are new T-Mobile internet gateway customers. We are experiencing drop-off of our internet (wireless) even when our new (Nokia) gateway is showing connectivity. Only action to fix, so far, is to reset by power-off/power-on. Thats fine if we are home.Is there a remote reset procedure for the Nokia gateway that can accomplish this in case we are on the road and the network drops offline? Important because our furnace and security systems are running through this network.
We have had T-Mobile Home Internet for several months, and it has been great. All of our devices (phones, tablets, tvs, and printers) connected to it perfectly. Then all of a sudden our three tvs and printer stopped connecting to it, and when going to the network settings on the devices, none of them listed our T-Mobile Home Internet as an available Network.I tried factory resetting the devices and our T-Mobile tower, and the problem continues. I tried making separate networks for 2.4g and 5g, and the problem continues. One T-Mobile operator suggested changing the network password, so I tried that, and it still didn't work.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Our tvs and printer are basically useless without being able to connect to the internet. Thank you.
Thanks to T-Mobile’s Test Drive, I can try out the home internet for 15days. I’m getting good speeds and so far so good… I was really happy with the service until………It’s not compatible with my Xbox Series X. Apps like YouTube, Twitch, Hulu all work. But if I want to play games online, that’s where it doesnt work. I get disconnected from the games respective servers. Doing a test on the network I get UPnP unavailable. I can retest until the UPnP is available but as soon as I start playing a game online, it disconnects. I see that I can attempt to connect a wireless router but I cannot control any settings on the App or if I log into router via a web browser. The only thing I can do is change names and passwords, but nothing else. Can a wireless router be connected to the gateway? If so, which brands will work best? There are other posts about this issue but no answer. I hope there is a solution or else the home internet goes back to T-Mobile and they will lose out on $50/month.
I changed from Cox to T-Mobile internet. The download speed in exceptional. The Alexa transition was smooth once I added 2.4G to my T-Mobile router. I named the new 2.4G the same as the Cox name with the same password, every device moved over as hoped. My home is automated with multiple plugs (7) and Feit Bulbs (30). Once setup everything worked for a short time. Then the bulbs would drop offline at random. The plugs always work. To reset the bulbs all I need to do is turn off the power to the bulb and turn it back on and then they are connected and work with Alexa. I have tried to find a pattern (like time of time or phase of the moon) but there doesn’t appear to be a pattern. I have via the Feit App set all devices to update the firmware automatically. Also, setup all Feit devices to push a notification when they drop offline; there are many pushed messages in the Feit app but again no time pattern. I have an open ticket with Feit and have tried all their suggested solutions - nothi
I cannot log into the app on my phone to manage the internet 5G Gateway. The password does not work anymore. No one changed it. But all devices can access the internet through my router that I have connected with an ethernet. All my devices defaulted back to that, since it used to manage my Comcast network and the previous password works on that. How do I get back into the Gateway without starting over. TVs still work, but it all has to go through the router.
