I bought during a holiday in the USA in March 2023 a Samsung mobile telephone (Galaxy A14 5G) with a T-Mobile SIM-card, valid about 1 month.

Back in the Netherlands I put my local SIM card in the phone. It worked very well until July 2024. And then the following message appeared a few times:

"”Network unlock will expire soon

Your phone's network unlock will expire in x days.

SIM cards from other service providers will no longer work."”

I followed instructions I found on the Internet. Result:

"”Unable to unlock your phone

Your phone is not suitable for unlocking.

Reason code: 11"”

Has anyone a suggestion how to overcome this? I started to use my old phone: not so happy with it.

You need to be a T-Mobile USA and your account and device need to meet all of the SIM Unlock Policy requirements for T-Mobile to SIM unlock it.

You can take it to one of your local cellphone repair shop to see if they can SIM unlock it for you for a fee.
