I am trying to call India from my phone. I have T-mobile’s Magenta plan. I don’t have the unlimited international plan and really don’t want that plan.

According to their documentation, this should work, but it keeps failing. Any ideas why?

Do you have international calling enabled on your account? You might want to check and make sure by calling Customer Care at 611 or by DM’ing T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter. One of the most common mistakes when dialing is, if the city or state code has a 0 as the first number of a two digit code. You omit the 0. As an example, +61-7 instead of +61-07.
