I’m on a Simple Choice plan and over the years with promotions I’ve racked up a number of lines that I simply don’t use. They’re free so I’ve held onto them and I don’t really want to change my plan.My question is now that Tmobile has rolled out 5G, can I simply pop one of the SIMs for a line that I don’t use into a hotspot device and run with it? I understand I’d only have 6GB of “high speed” data per line and I’m ok with that. I’m rarely home and have multiple lines if needed. Internet through the cable company is almost $80 a month.Debating if I should get a new phone and use the hotspot feature on it or if I should just buy a hotspot which would probably get better reception.
I received these survey questions earlier today at 3:43 PM because I had just set up a payment plan for my account. T-Mobile Free Msg: How did we do when you spoke with us on Oct 12? To opt out of the survey reply STOP. Survey information will be stored - t-mo.co/Privacy How likely are you to recommend T-Mobile to a friend, on a scale between 0-10 where 0 = Not at all Likely and 10 = Extremely Likely? It was from “1112” which is a number that I recognized from prior survey questions. I then received this message at 4:11 PM EMERGENCY ALERT: DO NOT respond to T-MOBILE, AT&T and Verizon SURVEYS. Message contains virus that may obtain your personal details that can be used in fraudulent activities. You may report any surveys that you received at www . usa . gov #3205829 advisory from Department of Homeland Security It was from (513) 399-8561 which is a number I don’t recognize. I’m not sure, but I believe the second one is the scam. Thoughts?
Why is it that I work for metro by T-Mobile and have zero health benefits I have absolutely nothing that T-Mobile offers as far as benefits 401(k) paid time off none of that I work in Evansville Indiana I’m just really curious on why says on your website hear that your offer all this stuff and it’s supposed to be available to us at Metro so why does nobody at my company have it
With the corona virus disrupting lives of countless americans every day it's time telecoms step up and do away with data caps, data throttling and limits on texts and calls on ALL plans. People are going to have to be on their devices more than ever now with people working and doing school from home and people staying in contact with friends and loved ones in quarantine. A good gesture is to do away with the aforementioned restrictions. I know most plans are "unlimited" but a throttling over 50 gigs (or whatever limit depending on plan/carrier) is in fact a data cap/limitation. Are kids supposed to stay up til the wee hours to do school work so they are not doing it during times they would be throttled? Will families have to allocate time of day for members to be online as to not slow down speeds? Some of these things can't be helped (reception etc) but telecoms need to do their part here. As a T Mobile customer I'm looking to my telecom to step up and be the first. I ask all customers

Every one in a while I get a SMS txt informing me that I have won a raffle with the prize being either cash, account credit or devises. I figure they are fraudulent as I try not to enter raffles or contest on a regular basis. I do not respond and typically just delete. But, is there a way deter these messages or confirm the validity?
I just wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing in these uncertain times. Is everyone doing ok? Do you have plans or tips for getting the most out of social isolation? What's the biggest change for you? How are you staying active? Just don't share any personal info like your address 😊 My family is doing alright, mainly nervous because we don't know how long this will last. I'm used to working from home, but it's a new experience for my wife so she's adjusting. I've got some chores I've been putting off, like cleaning out the computer and doing some maintenance on the car, so I'm trying be productive. I'm going to miss trivia night though, that was my zen. I think my dog will be happy at least, he'll be going on more walks as we try to stay moving and avoid cabin fever!
My LG G3 just died and I can’t get it to work at all. I’m thinking it’s a hardware problem. (There’s no response whatever I do. I took out the battery, held the power button for 15 seconds and popped the battery back in. Nothing. I tried holding the power button and down volume buttons. Nothing. I’ve tried all three of my spare batteries. Nothing. I’ve tried charging it for several hours. Nothing.)Anyhoo, I decided to start looking for another phone. The things I like about my G3 that died:Headphone jack. FM radio app that’s acutally a radio. Being able to change batteries. I have one app that is Android only.I can’t seem to find a phone with FM radio and changeable batteries. I think the LG Aristo 5 should work for me, but I don’t know what I’m not getting with a more expensive phone.Any suggestions or am I on track?
Hey all! Just wanted to jump in and see what you thought of the new look! Also let us know if anything isn't working right. Here's a couple things we know about and are working on: Badges for specific actions, like commenting a number of times, won't show until you do the action again. Points totals for previous contributions are not accurate. Not all badges are available, including the holiday badges.
For a long time I had been using third-party speed test and coverage map apps. I believe that a plausible suggestion to add a feature to the my T-Mobile app that would allow for speed test and Signal test coverage would be beneficial to helping map out the current coverage map. I have found many areas where there is coverage where there shouldn't be and vice versa. This information would go directly to Tmobile instead of third-party app services and would be a more direct link to better updating practices.
Hello there fellow T-Mobilites!As we were sorely lacking a thread to say hello and introduce yourself, I figured I'd whip one up. 😊 Feel free to just pop in and say hello if you're new here, or even if you're an old timer. I also borrowed a few questions from "Inside The Actor's Studio" to get to know everyone a little better. I'll start:What phone are you using?Where do you live? What is your favorite word? What is your least favorite word? What makes you happy? What makes you sad? What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? What profession would you not like to do?
Does anyone understand what's supposed to be such a big deal about the new cars with built-in WiFi? I presume that this is a service to which you have to subscribe and pay a big monthly fee. My wife often likes to use her iPad when we travel. I just kick on my T-Mobile hotspot and let her surf. We never get near my tethering limit. I wonder why T-Mobile doesn't point in their advertising that you don't need a WiFi car if you have T-Mobile's Hotspot feature.
I bought the US T-mobile prepaid SIM card while I stayed in the US and now it expired. I would like to keep using my card when I visit the US this month again. Can I top up my account from outside of theUS or how should I do? If possible, I would like to start using my phone when I get arrive at the US as soon as possible.
