Hello there fellow T-Mobilites!
As we were sorely lacking a thread to say hello and introduce yourself, I figured I'd whip one up. 😊 Feel free to just pop in and say hello if you're new here, or even if you're an old timer. I also borrowed a few questions from "Inside The Actor's Studio" to get to know everyone a little better. I'll start:
- What phone are you using?
- Where do you live?
- What is your favorite word?
- What is your least favorite word?
- What makes you happy?
- What makes you sad?
- What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
- What profession would you not like to do?
Where do you live?
What is your favorite word?
What is your least favorite word?
What makes you happy?
--books and friends
What makes you sad?
--bad news (lol)
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
--education (i want to try being a teacher even for a day)
What profession would you not like to do?
Old School video games?
That's the stuff right there! You have some great titles in there. Love me some Yars' Revenge.
I'll Chime in. I literally joined T-Mobile about 2 days ago. Being on Project FI from Google, I noticed that T-mobile was the best data coverage when swapping from Sprint to TMO and I basically was forcing myself on Tmobile network when I could. After about 6 months of trying FI, I just decided to go all in on my Nexus 6, flashed the official supported TMO Rom, and be a magenta Convert. So far so good!

Driving around topless in the Sun. Gotta be careful of sunburn. Oh, it is in my Jeep 😊
Winter time. I grew up in Michigan, Loved the snow as a kid, but it's not as fun playing in as an adult.
I think I would love to be a professional Chef. Currently I am in IT, but man...I like to cook!
Brian, I'd be interested in hearing your observations on Project Fi. I'm considering getting a Nexus 5X and switching one of our lines over to Project Fi for at least a few months, mostly because the phone supports Fi. My other options for this phone would be either PagePlus or Cricket. I mean, I like T-Mobile and all that but this line needs better coverage. Fi's coverage map looks pretty good and all that. I'm just not sure how it will work in practice.
The only way to know is to try it. Sprint coverage maps and T-Mobile might still have a lot of weak spots. I have Fi and the coverage in my area is no different than I have with just T-Mobile. I could get away with Fi and save like $30 a month just for my line, but if you addon't the rest of my family Fi is the worst option even compared to Verizon.
To be honest the concept is great...but Sprint is really lacking in performance. I'm much happier w/ TMO only, and it's only been a couple days.
I think the issue is that Sprint has a very decent/strong voice signal in my area but crappy data...but google defaulted to the strongest signal making internet horrible but voice good. Problem is I'm on internet most of the time or wifi calling so it didn't matter.
Even compared to Verizon. That's.... pretty bad.
Hello. Retired IT Tech from Northeast PA. I am fortunate to be able to buy my phones at full retail and I had Verizon Wireless service 18 years. Good service no complaints but pricing is just so much out of control and to expensive I had to leave. I have a Hauwei Google Nexus 6P and a LG Google Nexus 5X. One line with T-Mobile and one line with Google-Fi. Both services are good I am sort of a beta tester and enjoy these developer phones. T-Mobile frequency spectrum has much improved and I really enjoy the 700 mhz band 12 introduction very good coverage in my area. Just thought I'd say hello, happy communicating everybody.
NE PA has been getting a lot of LTE love lately and band 12 has been huge.
Anything as long as it doesn't make me sad
Techy stuff like the internet and adding parts to my gameing rig

Hello tmo community! New here, my first post actually!!
I recently dumped "big red" for the "magenta uncarrier" and couldn't have been happier. Previous device was an LG G4 on Verizon; was getting annoyed that this phone had features that were unavailable on Verizon (smart settings, fm radio, user accounts etc...) and their customer service was actually rude to me on several occasions. Went into a T-Mobile store last week, and about 35 min later; I walked out with a new Galaxy Note 5 and the 6gb plan. One of the best decisions I've ever made. Got home, phone was activated, speed test showed almost 70mbps down and 20 up. Crazy! Faster than my WiFi at home. And loads faster than Big Red!!!
Been around a while, but no overly active. Been on all 4 big carriers. Many experiences with each.

That would be my password and I surely don't want the whole world to know it 😊

Yours. I'd just like to be friends, not competitors 😊
Let's answer these! 😊
1.)Note 5 SM-N920T
2.)Hagerstown (area), MD (western MD)
3.)Hmmmm...my fav word? Lol i can't put that here! 😉
4.)My least then? I'll have to go with: Stupid <- it's just the word, i dislike it smh
5.)Me happy? The mother of my child (and my child once he or she gets here 😊 ), fast cars, aviation, android development and networking in general- I'm only BS/CompSc-NetEnginnering but i learn fast and this stuff is a passion of mine! It's the coolest! To transmit over a large area and penetrate structures with a broadband capable signal that can communicate as fast as LTE is COOOOOL!!! And i love IT, everything about it, making it faster, smarter, better- it's an awesome awesome hobby! 😊
6.)Sad? Not having extra money to buy new toys when they're released smh lol
7.)I think i would've loved to have been a doctor. In a constantly evolving discipline, i think I'd thoroughly enjoy it.
8.)what would i NOT want to do? Septic repairman. I will PASS on septic repair job offerings. Nothing else do i consider myself to be too good for.
So, that's my answers everybody! I just ask everyone keep an open mind about me, and don't worry I'll eventual irritate all of you with my lack of carriage return use and in-general strong opinions on certain subjects 😉 . But i also offer all the technical assistance my experiences (I've flashed thousands of devices) will allow, and I'm generally pretty happy to do so 😊 i don't really like flaming noobies, i know folks get irritated and sometimes reading the same question over and over gets old, but i feel like flaming isn't helping anything (your cause included), if you're not going to help then just don't reply...i can only envision my 70 year old mom reading "screw off you effing blah blah" somewhere when she asks in the wrong forum about her screen going off by itself all the time smh lol...and i figure we're all here to help one another, I'm more than happy to contribute to everyone having the best experience possible!
If anyone ever wants help or assistance with anything, feel free to pm me, I'll get it eventual in my email 😊
