Trade in our phones or carry a separate FM Radio?

Finally my wife and I both made the jump into buying our first brand new smartphones (before we always had used ones). In 2019 we got a Pixel 3a XL for the wife and then in 2020 I got a Pixel 4a. The plan was to take care of these for at least 3 years and then change them out for something else after they’re worn out or something else becomes a must-have.But we’ve come to the realization that there’s one feature that these phones don’t have and now we see as important… FM Radio. The valley where we live is fed by a single data cable that feeds all internet, all cellular towers and even all home phones across all service providers, not just T-Mobile. And during the past year this data line has been cut twice rendering our town out of communication for several days. Depending on where you’re at in the valley, it’s 60 to 100 miles over treacherous mountain passes (especially in the winter) to the next place where there’s a connection.When that has happened the only way to get any informat

Is the Sonim XP3plus the only phone with FM radio available from T-Mobile right now?

I decided to go back to using my Google Pixel 5a recently after using my ol’ flip phone ZTC Cymbal Z320 for a whole year. But I’m really missing that FM radio again as I don’t get any Wi-Fi or data at work. That, and I’m paranoid and want an FM radio on me, but I haven’t found any portable radio that fits in my pocket along with my phone, wallet, keys and everything else in those pockets.Is there any new Android phone (or iPhone, but I know there’s no iPhone) with an FM (and AM and Shortwave and ATSC) tuner right now from T-Mobile?

Security Questions OVERKILL?

In the last 4 days that I have signed in I have been asked 5 times to answer 2 security questions. WHY? I am in complete agreement with securing my account. Supposedly, the credit card I use at ADD FUNDS is always a one-time use. I HOPE my CC number hasn't been saved. Is this happening to other members?

where can i compliment an employee

March 30, I went into a Tmobile store to add my daughter in law to my account.  She was currently a Sprint customer.. well, I thought it would be a quick 20-30 mins in and out.  NOPE 2 hours later we walked out of the store frustrated and w/o accomplishing anything! We had to call customer care, absolutely waste of time. Language barrier, not understanding what we were talking about, etc. But we did find Alishya... omg, she was an absolute SAINT.  she was helping me and another customer and talking to customer care when they were not doing or understanding what I was trying to do.   I can NOT say enough about this young woman.  Alishya is awesome! I'm still very frustrated because customer care messed up everything, charged me $30 for a SIM card and postdated my order for April 8.  I wanted to walk out of Tmobile on March 30 with a new phone and a new line but I didn't.

TMobile app Feature suggestions

For a long time I had been using third-party speed test and coverage map apps. I believe that a plausible suggestion to add a feature to the my T-Mobile app that would allow for speed test and Signal test coverage would be beneficial to helping map out the current coverage map. I have found many areas where there is coverage where there shouldn't be and vice versa. This information would go directly to Tmobile instead of third-party app services and would be a more direct link to better updating practices.

Commendation for an excellent customer service

I would like to do a recommendation to this girl named Maria of your Slidell La location. I have never experienced such great customer service til I visited your store and asked how I could back up my files and have it transferred to my new device. She took time to assist me, explain how its done and talked about your newest promo for the all in, no taxes and fees. I was on a 35 plan, no data and she informed me that I can upgrade my plan to 40 and have data, since I am not much into internet but is starting to like the idea of being able to do so anywhere. I will be upgrading to unlimited data once I feel the need for it. She asked for a referral and I would be very happy to refer your store to my family and friends with this kind of experience. She valued me as a customer and your company is valuable to me having such a great employee like her. Keep up the good work.

why does t-mobile have the worst customer service out of the phone companies?

I’ve been trying to get in touch with customer service for a whole day! Hands down the shittys service and customer service ever!! And I’ve had some bad service in my life… Verizon here I come!!

What flip phone to get Grandpa?

Grandpa fell in a ditch and ruined his Alcatel Go Flip 2. That phone wasn’t the greatest anyway and we liked his ZTE Cymbal Z320 a lot better.Now there are 4 flip phones available!?TCL Flip Go for $96 SCHOK Flip for $96 Sonim XP3Plus for $210 Sonim XP3Plus (non-camera version) for $210I also tried finding a used ZTE Cymbal Z320 but could only find one that I was sure was the T-Mobile version for almost $77.Trying to choose a phone is a bit difficult to say the least. What is the difference between these other than the price and that one doesn’t have a camera?I mean we don’t care if it has Wi-Fi or a camera or text messaging because he’s not going to use any of that. But how do we know what phone is easy to use? The Alcatel he had was a pain and we would have sent it back if there were another flip phone available at the time. Is there anyway to try these phones? Certain texts not coming through DIGITS app?

If some website is trying to verify a cell number, those texts don't happen? No trouble receiving actual texts. I've just noticed that identity confirmation texts do not come through.Is this a known issue? Any fixes?

This was just too funny not to share. I just joined this forum and received this nice welcome email but either the Magenta Lounge no longer exists, or the link doesn't work anymore. So I decided to take screenshots and send an email to the address on the page since they so kindly provided an email address that throws up HUGE BRIGHT red flags: NO-REPLY@t-mobile.com 🤣. I thought, 99.99% sure I'm going to get a delivery failure, and SURE ENOUGH:   Just adding this to the list of reasons why I failed at choosing our next carrier! 🥳 🥂

I have 3 lines and I am being told my bill is gonna be 241 when I done the math and it should be 170-167 why a I being charged so much Not to mention I have 20 off with auto pay if that’s the case will my whole bill be like this or is this a one time thing because  200 is really a lot  especially for 3 lines

Voicemail just... gone?

Ever since June or earlier my voice mail box has been missing. I don’t mean deactivated or inactive, the voicemail box just doesn’t exist anymore. It worked fine for 6+ years but ever since T-Mobile and Sprint (i think) merged my box is just gone.  Calling support and troubleshooting the problem a couple of times did not help. Anyone else have the same problem and have a solution?
