Just for Fun
Relax, kick back, and have some fun
Hi all,Y’all know me as the Community Manager for this site and an employee of T-Mobile. I am also a mom, so I wanted to talk about something that has given me peace of mind when it comes to parenting with technology. Before I had my son, I always told people that my kids were not getting phones or tablets until they were older and needed it for school or something. When my son was born, he had the chance to play on his cousin’s tablets and before he was a year old, he could navigate the tablet and get to the videos and games he wanted. I knew that I needed to get him a tablet, but I was so worried about him clicking on something that he shouldn’t or buying a bunch of stuff in the app store.Samsung Kids Mode has been the biggest benefit on my son’s tablet! The Kids Mode setting is like a playpen. He only has access to the applications that I allow. If any of those apps have ads, he can tap on the ad, but it’s blocked so it doesn’t go anywhere or do anything. You have to use a code to ge
The OnePlus Nord N300 5G has been on the shelves for a couple weeks now. It has a thinner design than previous generations, a reasonable price tag, and totes some pretty cool features. As a mom, there are a few things that make all the difference when it comes to the devices I use regularly. Battery and camera are at the top of that list. The OnePlus Nord N300 5G has a 5000mAh battery and can get up to a day’s worth of power in about 30 minutes with the included charger. Less time sitting on the charger and more time in your hand taking pictures, looking up fun activities, or watching videos with your tiny humans. What’s not to love? A 48MP camera is pretty impressive and it has blur reduction of videos. I am definitely not the best at taking pictures and videos but features like that can make it way easier to capture those important moments with better quality. I appreciate devices that still have the SD card slot and the Nord N300 5G can support up to 1 TB SD card so you never have t
I have two accounts which are linked to my T-Mobile login: 1 postpaid with 3 lines and 2 prepaid. When I log in to my T-Mobile account (web or on the App), I have to choose which account I want to manage. On my T-Mobile app, when I select one of the prepaid accounts, it goes to another screen which asks me to Login! I think I asked this issue with a T-Mo prepaid representative and I believe he said that the App does NOT work for prepaid accounts! What the heck does the App bother to show the two prepaid accounts to select from if it does not work on those prepaid accounts? This is stupid app.

Texting has become such an important part of how we communicate nowadays. We can keep conversations going forever because we never have to "hang up" the phone. We can also share content easily by sending links or pictures. As time goes on, spam is starting to make its way into the texting world, and we can all feel the frustration when it affects us.Industry guidelines and T-Mobile policies are in place to try and block spam and unwanted messages from going through our network. Regular person-to-person (P2P) messages are sent through Spam filters to ensure that someone is not spending their days sending unwanted messages to any phone number they can get ahold of. Company messages sent to customers (A2P) should be sent through aggregators (companies that ensure that the messages being sent comply with the rules in place). Companies are not allowed to send out an excessive number of messages and they can only send messages if we opt-in to those messages first. As with anything else in lif

I don’t know about you, but I have completely gotten rid of regular cable service and switched over to streaming services almost exclusively. (I say almost because who doesn’t love going to a movie theater once in a while?) With all of the streaming services available, there is a way to watch just about anything nowadays. I love that T-Mobile partners with so many of the streaming companies and guess what! Another one is coming to our lineup!ViX+ is a streaming service that offers over 10,000 hours of Spanish-speaking content including news, sports, and original series, along with so much more. I'm looking to learn Spanish and I want to sign up because I've been told that watching Spanish TV is a great first step to getting used to the language. PLUS starting August 11th T-Mobile is offering a ViX+ ON US deal, so if I have the right plan why not get it for free and try it out?Limited-time offer; subject to change. Having a username is integral to being able to ask questions and provide answers here on the Community. We want you to have fun and be as creative as you like when creating your username. There are a couple things we want to avoid:Don’t use your phone number or email address as your username - everyone can see it and we don’t want it to put your information at risk. Stay away from using foul language – This is a family friendly zone and we want everyone to be comfortable coming here for all the greatness that is offered. We understand that things happen and usernames need to be changed for whatever reason. That is why I am here to help. If you need (or want) to change your username, you can post in this thread and include what you would like your username to be. I will get it changed and you see the updates automatically. Easy Peasy :D
Grandpa fell in a ditch and ruined his Alcatel Go Flip 2. That phone wasn’t the greatest anyway and we liked his ZTE Cymbal Z320 a lot better. Now there are 4 flip phones available!?TCL Flip Go for $96 SCHOK Flip for $96 Sonim XP3Plus for $210 Sonim XP3Plus (non-camera version) for $210I also tried finding a used ZTE Cymbal Z320 but could only find one that I was sure was the T-Mobile version for almost $77.Trying to choose a phone is a bit difficult to say the least. What is the difference between these other than the price and that one doesn’t have a camera?I mean we don’t care if it has Wi-Fi or a camera or text messaging because he’s not going to use any of that. But how do we know what phone is easy to use? The Alcatel he had was a pain and we would have sent it back if there were another flip phone available at the time. Is there anyway to try these phones? Is there a better alternative? The idea is to put his T-Mobile sim into a phone that works and isn’t a smartphone because he’l

Hello everyone! It’s time to share some exciting updates that are happening with our amazing T-Mobile Community.Congratulations are in order for @tmo_mike_c because he has transitioned to a new role within T-Mobile! Big things are in his future, and we all know that he is going to do great! My name is Heaven, and I will be taking over as Community Manager! I am so excited to be supporting this space. I look forward to using my experience with T-Mobile to help and guide all of you and take the opportunity to learn even more.A little about me: I have been with T-Mobile for 8 years focusing on customers. My favorite part of working with T-Mobile has been getting to network with different teams to find resolutions for customers and I hope to use my network to benefit this Community and its peer-to-peer focus.I am married and have two handsome boys, 3 years old and 5 months old. In my free time I like to crochet, hang out with family, and binge watch Netflix.
I keep coming across lots of little annoyances that simply aren't worth my time to call into customer service for. It would be great if there was a webpage similar to Apple’s feedback page i.e. apple.com/feedback. Does such a thing exist for T-Mobile? If not, somebody should make it!
