In the last 4 days that I have signed in I have been asked 5 times to answer 2 security questions. WHY? I am in complete agreement with securing my account. Supposedly, the credit card I use at ADD FUNDS is always a one-time use. I HOPE my CC number hasn't been saved. Is this happening to other members?
With the corona virus disrupting lives of countless americans every day it's time telecoms step up and do away with data caps, data throttling and limits on texts and calls on ALL plans. People are going to have to be on their devices more than ever now with people working and doing school from home and people staying in contact with friends and loved ones in quarantine. A good gesture is to do away with the aforementioned restrictions. I know most plans are "unlimited" but a throttling over 50 gigs (or whatever limit depending on plan/carrier) is in fact a data cap/limitation. Are kids supposed to stay up til the wee hours to do school work so they are not doing it during times they would be throttled? Will families have to allocate time of day for members to be online as to not slow down speeds? Some of these things can't be helped (reception etc) but telecoms need to do their part here. As a T Mobile customer I'm looking to my telecom to step up and be the first. I ask all customers
Finally my wife and I both made the jump into buying our first brand new smartphones (before we always had used ones). In 2019 we got a Pixel 3a XL for the wife and then in 2020 I got a Pixel 4a. The plan was to take care of these for at least 3 years and then change them out for something else after they’re worn out or something else becomes a must-have.But we’ve come to the realization that there’s one feature that these phones don’t have and now we see as important… FM Radio. The valley where we live is fed by a single data cable that feeds all internet, all cellular towers and even all home phones across all service providers, not just T-Mobile. And during the past year this data line has been cut twice rendering our town out of communication for several days. Depending on where you’re at in the valley, it’s 60 to 100 miles over treacherous mountain passes (especially in the winter) to the next place where there’s a connection. When that has happened the only way to get any informat
Does anyone understand what's supposed to be such a big deal about the new cars with built-in WiFi? I presume that this is a service to which you have to subscribe and pay a big monthly fee. My wife often likes to use her iPad when we travel. I just kick on my T-Mobile hotspot and let her surf. We never get near my tethering limit. I wonder why T-Mobile doesn't point in their advertising that you don't need a WiFi car if you have T-Mobile's Hotspot feature.
My LG G3 just died and I can’t get it to work at all. I’m thinking it’s a hardware problem. (There’s no response whatever I do. I took out the battery, held the power button for 15 seconds and popped the battery back in. Nothing. I tried holding the power button and down volume buttons. Nothing. I’ve tried all three of my spare batteries. Nothing. I’ve tried charging it for several hours. Nothing.)Anyhoo, I decided to start looking for another phone. The things I like about my G3 that died:Headphone jack. FM radio app that’s acutally a radio. Being able to change batteries. I have one app that is Android only.I can’t seem to find a phone with FM radio and changeable batteries. I think the LG Aristo 5 should work for me, but I don’t know what I’m not getting with a more expensive phone.Any suggestions or am I on track?
Just a word of caution with this service! I can say that I have never been so disappointed in an educational service before. I signed up for the 4 week free course and found out that the course is actually 5 months long. You can only take two lessons a week and you have to designate a specific day and time that you will take each lesson. They then will charge you $70 a month after the first four weeks. They will also throw a ton of up-sells at you. I was not happy with this platform so I went to cancel the subscription. This is where it gets insane. They will not let you cancel!!!!!You can go to your account page on the site and choose the option to cancel. Then it takes you through 5 page chains of why you should stay. At the end of this chain you are advised to call the number provided to cancel. You call the number and a new chain begins, this time you have to listen to why you should not give up on your goals and should stay with them. At the end of this menu chain they advise you
Every one in a while I get a SMS txt informing me that I have won a raffle with the prize being either cash, account credit or devises. I figure they are fraudulent as I try not to enter raffles or contest on a regular basis. I do not respond and typically just delete. But, is there a way deter these messages or confirm the validity?
I bought the US T-mobile prepaid SIM card while I stayed in the US and now it expired. I would like to keep using my card when I visit the US this month again. Can I top up my account from outside of theUS or how should I do? If possible, I would like to start using my phone when I get arrive at the US as soon as possible.
For a long time I had been using third-party speed test and coverage map apps. I believe that a plausible suggestion to add a feature to the my T-Mobile app that would allow for speed test and Signal test coverage would be beneficial to helping map out the current coverage map. I have found many areas where there is coverage where there shouldn't be and vice versa. This information would go directly to Tmobile instead of third-party app services and would be a more direct link to better updating practices.
Yesterday my wife and I were both prompted to update our Galaxy S10e's. We both initiated the update and then we both had the identical issue. Our phones rebooted tens of times until we were presented with the boot screen to try safe mode, delete cache, etc. After trying all of the options without success we were forced to factory reset our phones which has been a huge hassle.Has anybody else had a similar problem? If it was just one phone then I would write it off to the tech gremlins, however, that this issue happened to both of our phones sure seems to point to a big bug in the upgrade. Now it appears T-Mobile pulled the update?
Hey there! I am working on compiling a list of domains to be "whitelisted" so they don't get caught in our moderation filter. If there are any domains you feel would be helpful added, let me know and I'll work to get them in there so posts don't get caught up in moderation so often! 😊 -Lauren
I opened an account with T-Mobile in 2014 after I purchased an unlocked Moto G2 at Best Buy.Up until I switched to an unlocked Moto G7, my visual voicemail was working just fine with Google's native phone app. I've searched and tried several possible solutions, here and elsewhere: NO WORKY!I'm considering calling tech support, but, these days, getting past the script readers is getting annoying. Especially if I have to do a factory reset, it would take longer than my stating, "Let's skip all that and let's assume that this has been going on since I got it out of the box. Let's escalate to someone that can actually give me some answers."I've tried T-Mobile's version of 'visual voicemail', and frankly, I'm not impressed. I get annoying "T-Mobile Tuesday" spam, I don't get call or voicemail notifications, when I do listen to my voicemail, I can't switch it to the loudspeaker or bluetooth headset, and I really don't care to use two apps when one has sufficed for four years. So, I have the
