T-Mobile is great! I can’t complain much about the company and service. Except maybe this one small thing. Background:In the past we’ve had outages in our valley that have affected all phones, both home phones and cellular service, as well as all power and internet. Sometimes these outages have lasted for days. So in view of this, I’ve recently decided to become a HAM, also known as a ameteur radio or short wave radio operator. One of the perks to being a HAM is you can send emails via radio (called Winlink). The best way is, of course, to send them through email to text. People are more likely to respond to a text than to an email. The complaint:Now I can send emails via short wave (HF) radio to T-Mobile numbers just fine. But I can’t receive any replies back. The problem seems to be that T-Mobile sends both a picture and a sort of file. Email via short wave radio is quite limited, so I never get the emails.I don’t have this problem with AT&T or Verizon numbers. With those I get a si
Why would a conglomerate require its corporate employees to become subject to clinical trials for a deeply flawed experiment after the Supreme Court declares it unconstitutional for the president of the United States? Because they want loyalty for the global gig. https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/deutsche-telekom-build-global-covid-vaccine-verification-app-who-2022-02-23/
My husband and I joined T-mobile in June of 2021 (so a little less than a year ago). We signed up under a business plan, we got a 3rd line for the same price. So we have 3 lines. He traded in a iphone and got an upgrade for a new iphone. My (android) phone has some damage, so I didn’t trade it in.I bought an iphone mini, but I didn’t love the size and returned it a few days later. We did not get a phone for the 3rd line.I would like to upgrade my phone but would love to get an incentive but since my phone has damage, I can’t trade it in.There are incentives to upgrades by adding a line, since I didn’t take advantage of this when I first joined, am I still eligible to upgrade my phone and/or my “new” line that has never been activated?I feel like the sales person wasn’t very helpful answering these questions or helping me out. I used to sell cell phones in the 2010s and I know things have changed but I guess there’s a part of me considering going back to my other carrier since otherwise, t
If you require a password change, say it is required, not suggested. Contact me for vocabulary help Of all of the constraints, requiring a number is the least secure. It reduces the number of valid passwords. Requiring a symbol is fr more intelligent. If you do not allow spaces and symbols, say so before a person creates a password. All of the competent security and web development people do so. If you are going to allow extremely low quality passwords, then be fair and alow all extremely high quality passwords. For example “1bigdoggy” is allowed and extremely week. “t-mobile knows very little about passwords” is extremely strong even though it only has lowercase letters. The extremely strong password is not allowed by T-Mobile.

I keep coming across lots of little annoyances that simply aren't worth my time to call into customer service for. It would be great if there was a webpage similar to Apple’s feedback page i.e. apple.com/feedback. Does such a thing exist for T-Mobile? If not, somebody should make it!
Help. In France on global plan. Agent who signed me up said from Europe, to call US I only need to dial the number as if in US. All calls fail. Have tried the + first and that with various combinations of country code. Please LMK how to make calls home. TYVM!
Why is Deutsche Telekom which is the parent company of T-Mobile so interested in tracking human health information?? this is straight out of a communist manifesto checklist. If this Authoritarian regime type control of our information app development is not cancelled and apologized for, I will be cancelling my service of 4 accounts and telling all of my friends and family that they should do the same. https://www.usnews.com/news/technology/articles/2022-02-23/deutsche-telekom-to-build-global-covid-vaccine-verification-app-for-who
I’m on a Simple Choice plan and over the years with promotions I’ve racked up a number of lines that I simply don’t use. They’re free so I’ve held onto them and I don’t really want to change my plan.My question is now that Tmobile has rolled out 5G, can I simply pop one of the SIMs for a line that I don’t use into a hotspot device and run with it? I understand I’d only have 6GB of “high speed” data per line and I’m ok with that. I’m rarely home and have multiple lines if needed. Internet through the cable company is almost $80 a month.Debating if I should get a new phone and use the hotspot feature on it or if I should just buy a hotspot which would probably get better reception.
If I sign up and text-enable my business landline with Texty Pro, can I use my t-mobile phone to access this service? I stumbled on to this article on How to Text From a Landline Number in 2022 and it says that all I need is a mobile phone with an internet access to text using my landline number.
