I bought an iphone 7 here in Brazil with my friend it was working normally so I decided to reset it from the factory.
    When I put my chip it gives the following unpopular chip message.
    I need to know the step by step so I unlock him his imei number is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

        It sounds like your phone was never unlocked but was jail broke and when you did

        the reset it caused it to sim lock.

          That's a bummer your phone's locked weslleyrcs  but I agree with what gramps28 mentioned. Did you actually go through the unlock process or were told by the person that sold it to you that it was unlocked?
