Thousands of patients with T-Mobile unable to use our IVR (DTMF tones not transmitting, requires multiple calls)

I work for medical clinic with about 600 users. For almost 2 years now, we have been having issues where wireless callers from T-Mobile/Mint/Metro PCS and all of their MVNOs, have the inability to get through our IVR system. They will push options in our main auto attendant IVR and it will not register anything they press. Sometimes it will take multiple calls before finally, they are able to transmit tones. I am able to duplicate this issue on my T-Mobile test line on my iphone (signed up for the 90 day evaluation) as well as a test android phone. Wifi calling disabled, strong LTE or 5G signal. Issue happens all over our City, and some of the surrounding cities. Both phones (iphone 14 Pro Max and T-Mobile Revl and OnePlus N200, all the latest ios and carrier updates). Our support vendor for our phone system and our SIP carrier keep telling us the issue is on T-Mobile's side. I had worked with T-Mobile support for several weeks, and they tried to blame the issue on iPhone, stating that

Will I get charged to receive a call from Japan when I am at home is the US? My understanding is the person who calls will always get charged but will the receiver get charged when at home in US.

Starlink deployment ? Rural coverage vs. what is shown on the map.

Does T-Mobile have any more information on their Starlink plans/future ?T-Mobile’s internal maps are a bit more … truthful on coverage vs. the sales pitch maps that T-Mobile executives claim are ‘accurate’.   As a result, I’m hopeful that much of the rural areas that T-Mobile claims to have coverage - will at least have outdoor coverage.This is reassuring, but its been advertised for +2 years now.https://www.t-mobile.com/news/network/t-mobile-first-satellite-wea

Decent service

OK guys. I have been a T-Mobile customer for about 26 years. Almost as long as they have been around.At times service sucked, but I stayed around, knowing I was with a growing company and I liked their business model. Now I’m in my third year with the 5G data. I was only in the extended range area so it wasn’t super fast. I signed up anyway because i just couldn’t do Suddenlink, now Optimum anymore. My speed has been up around 50 meg, but sometimes is less than ten. I’ve heard all the commercials they have cast nationwide about highspeed internet in rural areas, but I’m finding it to not be very reliable. You would think they would want to keep a customer that has been around as long as I have and continually sold friends and relatives on T-Mobile. I think it’s time for the company to invest in their good customers and fix whatever is creating the large speed decreases in my area. Does anyone have any input on this?Jack

I want to put a sim card in a Samsung but I won't let me use it because the phone is locked and when I got to unlock it it gives me a reason code 5,on why I can't unlock the phone

My phone/internet keeps going down for days on in.

My phone/internet keeps going down for days on in. The network just disappears, and only emergency calls can be made.  3 days a couple of weeks ago, then thur and fri it went down during the day but back up around 5:30 then it stayed up all weekend then Monday went down at 9am and did not come back until 4am. How do I find out if this is being fixed or if it is a permanent issue going forward. I have a hotspot device, a lifeline phone and a prepaid t-mobile phone and they all stop working so not a device issue.

tmobile overcharged me since 2019

He tenido la cuenta de tmobile desde el 2014 y cada vez k voy a pagar el bill son $ 600 dolares , 597 y algo siempre es lo mismo y salen con el cuento de k estoy un mes atrasada de k paso esto lo otro cuando todo es mentira llame para preguntar y cancelar las lineas con ellos y tampoco cancelan las lineas el dia k uno llama para hacerlo si no k tambien es cuando ellos digan k les pasa keriendome meter un bill otra vez de $ 559 y algo estan locos todo mentira todo fraude son demasiado no kiero Saber nada de tmobile y k el bill venga a 700 k los voy a demandar

Elderly has lost ability to use iphone XV

My family cant be the only ones that have gone through this.  So here it goes.  Elder parent has lost capacity to use iphone  XV.   I have looked online and saw a smart phone called Jitterbug Smart4 .  Fewer icons and next to the icon it clearly states what its for (example:  phone or texting, email etc).  Question:  since it is a smart phone, can this phone be added to our existing TMobile account?

Weak Internet Signal for 22+ hours

My Internet signal has been weak for 22+ hours. It's basically useless right now. I have the new gateway. I have tried all necessary steps and suggestions and nothing has changed. I am being told by customer service they are doing maintenance on one of the towers within my vicinity.  I live at Rita Ranch area and I'm wondering if anyone else is having similar problems.

I bought during a holiday in the USA in March 2023 a Samsung mobile telephone (Galaxy A14 5G) with a T-Mobile SIM-card, valid about 1 month.Back in the Netherlands I put my local SIM card in the phone. It worked very well until July 2024. And then the following message appeared a few times:"”Network unlock will expire soonYour phone's network unlock will expire in x days.SIM cards from other service providers will no longer work."”I followed instructions I found on the Internet. Result:"”Unable to unlock your phoneYour phone is not suitable for unlocking.Reason code: 11"”Has anyone a suggestion how to overcome this? I started to use my old phone: not so happy with it.

How to listen the next voice message

So when dial 123 to listen my voice mail, whether they are new or saved, when a message is finished playing, it asks me to some options like replay, forward, message information, delete or save. How do i just go listen to the next message? I dont want to save, and when i listen to saved messages, i dont want to delete. I just want to go to the next one. Why dont they just key #2 as To Listen to the next message? 😣

4G LTE CellSpot v2 not connecting

T-Mobile CellSpot v2 received yesterday.When first connected: Power blinking green, Internet solid green, Status blinking orange After couple hours the CellSpot rebooted itself and changed to: Power blinking green, Internet blinking orangeUDP ports 123, 500 and 4500 verified open through Test-NetConnection command, but additionally:Forwarded these ports to CellSpot, rebooted CellSpot, no change in behavior Placed CellSpot in DMZ, rebooted CellSpot, no change in behaviorDisconnected everything else from the router, rebooted the router and connected the CellSpot to the router as the only Ethernet device, powered up, again no change in behaviorFactory reset the CellSpot, the whole process repeated itself from “When first connected”I am at loss here. Is it possible that the CellSpot they send me is not authorized on T-Mobile core network? Is there a way to get to the Tech Support knowledgeable enoght to check that without waiting an hor on the phone and being transferred 3 times from agent

TM Tower/Server Saturation?

I signed on with TM in May of 2022 with their 5G Home Internet and was quite pleased for the first year. Now, at the 2+ year mark, I am experiencing multiple service interruptions each day. At first, my gateway indicated three bars out of 5 for service. Today (over several months) I still have the same signal strength, but quite often lose my internet connection. I have begun to wonder if there are no more towers in my area, but TM is continuing to sell their service, thereby creating overloading of their towers / servers. If that’s the case, I really don’t feel that a visit to the local store from an “already existing, paying customer” is going to do any good. Is anyone else going through the same thing?

No Bars

Has anyone been told they will get credited for paying a bill and not being able to use their phone⁉️ I have nurses and aides coming to my house who have to clock in for work but can't because of the service ‼️ Sometimes they don't get paid because the Company can't believe they can't get service. I'm tired 😫 of walking around my house and outside to try to get a signal. I'm a senior and don't have money to throw away 😞

How long to wait to talk to customer tech support

Ok, I have been waiting, ( they appreciate my patience), over 1 ½ hours. First ½ waiting for the call back, now I sit with my phone on waiting while the most awful loud music plays. 41:45 minutes, “ Hang Tight” the guy says, Name that song and someone from our”Care Team” will be with you shortly. I have to stay with this wretched company for about another year as I have an iPhone, (on them), but I will not stay with this horrible wifi.  Has anyone else had similar experience?

2 hours to cancel plan that isnt working

I had print then T-Mobile took over my phone has always needed people to call twice the first call went straight to voicemail. Now people are calling three times and it’s not coming through. I can call but no one can call me. I’m paying $60 for terrible service. It takes two hour to get a hold of costumer service and you can’t even cancel online. For the cherry on top when my line was transferred from sprint to T-Mobile they decided I was no longer paying off my phone but leasing it for 12 a month. So little did i know I’m not even able to take my phone with me when I leave. Absolutely the worst deal I’ve ever gotten. I was either lied to by sprint telling me I was paying off my phone or  when the switch happens T-Mobile decided my phone was theirs.

Excellent signal, no connection

Can anyone help me?? I’ve called T-Mobile several times, talked to IT, and went to the store and still no help. I have the home internet, it’s showing 5 bars and excellent connection, but our speed is 4 mbps. Our service used to be amazing, but lately we can’t even watch a show on Netflix with out it buffering! We have reset our wifi, did the new network pathways with T-Mobile, and went in and got a new white router and it seems to be worse now! My phone, tv, iPad won’t on the wifi even thought it says our signal is excellent. I’m so frustrated with this, and about to cancel my internet; however, I love the price point compared to our areas Internet providers. Anyone know what to do? I’m not sure if you get a new sim or not with the new router? That is about the only thing I could think to replace, if it wasn’t already with the router. Thank you!!
