Good-Bye T-Mobile

Just jumping on here to say I am switching from T-Mobile back to my other carrier. When I have no service at all and I call and they said it was all taken care of they lied. I even had the supervisor call me back on Saturday 7/16/22 to follow up with the issue. Was told by the initial contact that the issue was taken care of and that should have no problems with service. The call from supervisor went on to say the issue was being emailed to techie’s or whoever that needs to work on cell service and that she would follow up with another call to me the following day. Never received the call and this morning had no service again. Only with T-mobile since 3/2/22 and had a few issues depending on where I was at the time but since a storm went through knocking out cell towers for several hours I have had issues with no service at all at times. I did a speed check yesterday with my phone (no wifi) and the results were .92 download, .02 upload and the connection was another state. Second time

Sprint vs T-Mobile

Hi everyone.So recently my fiance and I have made the switch to Tmobile from Sprint. We were happy but now it’s changed. Our only other option is basically to switch to Verizon but it’s not like that’ll help since Verizon doesn’t really reach out to where we live. Under Sprint, we legit had signal to do everything and that’s without a magic box! We had signal enough to even use our phones as Wi-Fi for our Xbox, PlayStation and our Nintendo Switch! Now that we kind of didn’t really have a choice BUT to switch since the merge, we’ve hardly had any signal for anything. We were informed that the towers were going to get upgraded and so forth but how long until that happens? Is there any way we can look up the status of these towers? We’d like to know since every other 5 feet we walk on our property, we now lose signal. We can hardly make calls since they drop like every 10 minutes or so unless we keep our phones stationary which our Bluetooth helps with that unless we walk to far away. Is

LTE is faster - Pixel 6

I have been having a HORRIBLE time keeping signal, my connection isn't always available, and my battery seems to drain super quick.  I got a new Pixel 6, and thought maybe it was the phone, but didn't have that issue when I was with a carrier that used tmobile's lines, so I thought it was odd.  I switched over to LTE and my connection is so so so much faster.  Fast, like it used to be.  I'm sticking with LTE. Besides every time I looked at my phone it would toggle 5G /UC, over and over. I'm sure that was draining my battery.  Quick fix for a horrible problem.  I almost switched carriers

T-Mobile throttling data on Maganta-Max

My plan is on Magenta Max which means I’m supposed to have unlimited everything and no throttling whatsoever according to T-Mobil advertisement, but if I do internet speed test with fast.com, my speed won’t pass 2.7 mbps while I’m doing the test with VPN on I get more than 100 mbps. If it’s not a false advertisement why my data is being compromised and being throttled?

Cant make any calls

I changed my sim card this morning because it was the old sprint on so I replaced with a new T-Mobile. Ever since I replaced I can no longer call anyone, it says server unavailable! And noone can call me!!!

Instagram and Facebook issue on T-Mobile LTE network

Videos buffering on my Instagram and Facebook when I'm on LTE network, despite the fact my internet speed test speed shows more than 90 megabits per second. When I turn my VPN on, it fixes the issue. Not sure what's going on. Is T-Mobile restricting the connections for Instagram and Facebook? YouTube videos work simply fine, even with the highest quality. Home Wi-Fi internet speed test shows 30 megabits per second and never have any issues with IG and FB when I'm connected to the Wi-Fi.

iphone 7 /Sprint & T mobile merge weak to no signal

I had an iPhone 6s until it died it had weak internet always in my home location but the phone worked fine ,I got a replacement used iPhone 7,now it can’t support a phone signal hardly and still weak to no internet,NO HELP from TM they go through the stages and reconnect your phone to the tower etc etc etc.The tower is only a mile or two away why is this a problem the phone works away from my home mostly we had an emergency and had to call an ambulance I had no phone reception and ran to a neighbor and use his phone I really don’t have a land line wtf is the problem in my area 33458 anybody??

Phone call issues after latest updat

We just updated our galaxy s21 5g phones a few days ago with the Tmobile carrier update and since then any time we make a phone call, the other person says we keep cutting in and out. Very frustrating when you can't even make a phone call on a cell Phone! Anyone else having this issue after the update?

This Stinks

We all need to discontinue our accounts and forget about this service. They don’t care about us and i’m sure you guys are as tired as i am of my wifi not doing it’s ONE job. It’s literally robbery how quick they are to cut off service when i don’t pay but not quick to help when we have a problem

intermittent cell signal in 78727

For the last few days T-Mobile cell is unreliable to the point no calls can be made, SMS sent, or internet accessed. The signal would come and go every few minutes. This is not a phone issue because if I drive to another location it works fine.Also, there is no way to report service outage on the t-mobile website - they tell me to call a number, seriously! I have no signal and I must call them to report I have no signal?

Disconnects with new 5G home internet gateway

Got the black rectangular 5G box last week. Tried all sorts of locations, but the best reception seems to be in front of a north-facing second-story window, where I get 2 to 3 bars and as high as ~70 mbs d/l.But it’s very variable, with it occasionally dropping as low as ~16 mbs. And, it drops out overnight and doesn’t reconnect automatically (“no signal” when I check it, but after power cycle, it connects fine).FWIW, we’re in the suburbs of a sizable (~2.5M) metro area, about 10 miles from a city center and maybe 2 mi east of a pair of ~1000 ft TV towers that also host cell antennas. The TM coverage map shows us in “extended coverage”, but the highest speed coverage is shown to extend as far as a block to our west (although west-facing second-story window placements get only 2 bars and slower speedtest.net results). Very confusing.We got better, more reliable TM service than this with the silver Nokia cylinder on the first floor ~9 mo ago, but because of an ipv4/ipv6 incompatibility w

channel signal

We seem to have trouble with the signal on one particular channel. We will be watching it and all of a sudden we start getting the dreaded circle. It will keep doing this but when we change the channel it does not happen . Any suggestions?

15GB one time internation data package not working

I am in Italy and I purchased a one time 15 GB international data plan package. I tried resetting the roaming the data and the cell service was before turning off the phone and after repowering the phone. The Internet speed is 0.10 MB per second which is the same speed as I was receiving before purchasing the package. I am in a major city. Please advise

Bad coverage in Farmington hills michigan

Have 2 bars at best in Farmington Hills mi. When We had SPRINT always 5 bars. Livonia next closest city has 5 bars. T mobile needs to resolve this. This is not acceptable paying $150.00 a month for poor coverage.

Bars decrease in the same location as the day goes by, only in one location, eventually no data.

At the beginning of my day at my office, my S22 Ultra (same exact problem with previous phone, S21 Ultra) has 5GUC and has blazing fast speeds with four bars. This is at my desk. My desk does not move. My building is not mobile. As the day goes on, the “UC” from “5GUC” drops. Bars start dropping. Eventually I only have one bar and sometimes only 4G. The data speeds drop from blazing fast to no data connectivity. This issue does not seem to affect voice calls. This issue happens daily, and is consistent across two different phone models and multiple devices. I have spoken with customer support and they stated that there was some modernization being performed on the tower that I connect with in this location. That was several weeks ago. At some point the support tech made some unspecified change, remotely to my phone and the bars increased and the “5G UC” returned to my phone and so did the blazing fast speeds. That only lasted for a few hours and the issues returned. I don’t have time t

3G/4G LTE CellSpot and 3G service

I have a 3G phone which my mother uses.  She stays at home now because of the pandemic and only uses the phone at home.  I also have a tmobile Cellspot which supports 3G.  As of July 1, 3G is not supported but it looks like it is still supported at by this cellspot as her phone works at home.  We haven’t tried it outside yet.  Is this true that she can use her 3G phone at home and through the cellspot connection now that 3G is gone.   Or is it really gone or not totally gone yet?

Ongoing “No Service” but service still works

Hello!  I am live in Phoenix, AZ & have the Magenta Max plan w/T-MOBILE with a plan of 5 active lines. My iPhone11 has said “no service” for the last 2 weeks yet I still have service. Sometimes the internet connection will be really slow or won’t work at all for anywhere from minutes to hours, but most times it works just fine despite the notification up top. Last week I wasn’t able to get online or send texts but I was able to call out, receive calls &  texts. My iphone12 is on the same plan & located in the same home, works just fine & doesn’t say “no service”. I also don’t have internet/Wi-Fi set up in my apartment. I’ve restarted my phone, disconnected & re-connected the cellular service and no change. The phone has absolutely no damage, I just purchased it brand new 3 months ago, my bill is current so I know my services have not been disconnected. There can’t be any towers down or service outages in my area because my other iPhone isn’t having this issue…I’ve n

How get better coverage at home?

Been living here for 14+ years and no network service (maybe 1 bar but not enough to make/receive calls/texts/data).  Wifi calling stinks and when power goes out (like last night) we are stuck in limbo.I did complete some “network issue” form on Sprint website but nothing ever happens…… how do we get better coverage? I thought we would with T-Mobile but not….  and I use a 5G phone (set on auto)…. Samsung s20 Ultra but my iPhone 11 has same issues here.

Can 5G Gateway N1 be installed outdoors in a weatherproof enclosure?

We have a 5G Gateway N1 device that works pretty well, but we do have weak signals at the moment and we also live on a hillside and probably do not get much benefit from the omnidirectional antenna system in the cylinder-shaped device.I am considering an outdoor installation in a weatherproof box that would have a short (<10m) conduit into our residence.  This should allow me to elevate the device a bit while also placing it away from our outer wall (though not that far).The connection would carry a grounded 120v extension cord as well as a RJ45 cable to connect with a WIFI router inside our residence.  The operating temperature limits on the device would seem acceptable, but I am considering a fan for ventilation.Does this make sense?  Has anyone else tried this?Thank you.

Incredibly Frustrated - New Tampa, FL - County Line

Hi T-Mobile,it is getting incredibly frustrating.  Thought it will get better with about a ton customers moving into New Tampa and T-Mobile scoring them with good service.  But the drive from my house (Live Oak) all along county line road to drop and pick kids from school.  It’s a nightmare service from T-Mobile.  Can someone from T-Mobile take a call while driving in this route and feel the same frustration?
