I landed in Paris, France today and discovered that my Pixel 5 with the Magenta plan was not connected to a network. I checked my account, and international roaming was enabled. Need some help urgently

California PUC has contracted Dr. Douglas Sicker as a compliance officer for the state in regards to California T-Mobile/Sprint merger/audit https://docs.cpuc.ca.gov/PublishedDocs/Published/G000/M333/K367/333367934.PDFhttps://www.cpuc.ca.gov/news-and-updates/all-news/cpuc-appoints-t-mobile-compliance-monitorI have validated this with Dr. Sicker , and he is open to hearing and reporting on issues that are relevant to the T-Mobile Sprint merger agreement above  in California.  I used LinkedIn to communicate with him. The Decision orders the merged company to implement the following to benefit consumers:Provide 5G wireless service with speeds of at least 100 Mbps to 99 percent of California’s population by the end of 2026, and 300 Mbps to 93 percent by the end of 2024.Provide 5G wireless service with speeds of at least 100 Mbps to 85 percent of California’s rural population, and speeds of at least 50 Mbps available to 94 percent of California’s rural population, by the end of 2026. Switched From Family Plan to Individual and now constant No Service

After 12 years with T-Mobile with Family Share account, I had to get my own individual account so I decided to stay with T-Mobile.  It has been hell.  So far I spent over 12 hours talking to tech support, going to local store, Facebook messenger chat that went on over two days.  Nothing changed on my end, same house, same iPhone, same apps and Yet after switching to new individual account with T-Mobile who I have been with over 12 years, I keep getting one bar or No Service on my iPhone and they keep telling me to get the signal booster. Anyone experience this? any suggestions.  Again, nothing here changed on my iPhone device or my location, just account type.

T-Mobile Coverage - Island Park, ID

T-Mobile Coverage in Island Park, ID is iffy at best! I spend a week every year in Island Park and T-Mobile coverage is almost non-existent! GPS Coordinates are 44°24'42.83"N 111°23'5.71"W. From other members of the group I go to Island Park with Verizon seems to have no trouble with coverage at this location. It’s time for T-Mobile to step up their coverage in this area!

tmobile 5g internet

Past Month or so has been crap for me. Fine when it works, but it keeps dropping connection for me. Always says "excellent " as for signal strength,  but I have to keep resetting the network.  Phone 5g works great though. Wish I could trade that for internet. Think it's time to switch back to cable

Internet connection? must be peak hours again...

Must be peak hours because our internet is running slow again. Wife thinks it's throttled during peak hours but that's probably regulated right?Still, every evening between 830 PM and 11 PM m-sun and most days before and after lunch time. We keep reporting it but they are always "having issues in the area", what area you ask? Your area of course. What area is that? Not sure, but it's definitely your area.Want to watch a 30 minute show? Hope you have an hour plus. And do not, I repeat, DO NOT click back. Even if the picture is low quality, you will likely end up restarting your box.It's ok though, even if you have no internet, your box will still tell you it's a great connection.

Coverage on Royal Caribbean Cruse

Hi everyone,I will be taking a cruise to Mexico on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas ship.  I don’t see it on being covered on T-Mobile’s site, so I am wondering if I would have access to any sort of data on the ship and if there would be a cost associated with it.  Thank you all in advance.

slower hot spot suddenly slowed down

my hot spot used to be ok running an android box speed text around 30-40 mbps a couple months ago it was hitting around 100 mbps for the last couple days i’m getting 0.7 to 0 mbps I’v had the same plan for many years but over the past few days I’m getting very little signal or none at all I tried both my i phone 12 mini and i phone 11 by the way my i phone 11 out performs my i phone 12 mine big time on hot spotting I was grandfathered in on 50 gigs of hot spot I’m not even close to using that data up this month but in months past when I did use it up I would still get 25-35 mbps? seems something is very wrong with the network lately?

Recognizing new address

My family built new homes about 6 months ago and all postal services recognize our address, but t-mobile system does not. I can see that t-mobile services house on our street and in our neighborhood. Can anyone help direct me to the best contact to get my address in their system. We are currently being forced to use an over priced internet source that does not even work 90% of the time. I would love to switch to t-mobile and get a service that actually works and is affordable. PLEASE HELP

Upgrade to 600Mhz? what?

So I got the Tmobile home internet and set it up.  My phone connects to it, but why am I getting this message and what do I do about it.  When I called to see if this was available in my area, the Tmobile guy said it was.Message:Your device can’t take advantage of Extended Range LTE, our most powerful signal, which reaches 2X as far and provides 4X better coverage in buildings than ever before.  Upgrade to a 600 MHz or 5G device for our best coverage and fastest speeds.

Sagemcom gateway update August 2023

It seems there is some good news in the pipeline, according to the following story. In essence, T-Mobile home internet will be releasing two revised gateways, but the one to watch is the Sagemcom TMO4GSE. If you are like many of us and you need a little better signal, you used one of the numerous tutorials on how to open-up the gateway and add 2-4 SMA external antenna connectors to connect to a Waveform external antenna. The new Sagemcom gateway will reportedly have four (4) external SMA antenna connectors built into the gateway!! I am currently abroad and was worried if I lose my phone, how can I replace it while not in the US. Can I buy a new unlocked phone and sign-in with my T-Mobile account to reactivate it ? Any advice would be welcome :)  WFATTAH

why is a number in my contacts getting blocked?

My grandma tells me she keeps calling and I never pick up. I never have received a call from her. So when I checked I realized her number keeps getting blocked/ marked as spam even though she's in my contacts and not blocked. How can. This be fixed?

Effects of excess heat and 5-G connectivity/reliability

With what Google searches I have done, it seems millimeter wave technology not only generates lots of heat, it has a tendency to be negatively affected by high ambient temperatures.  The result for me this summer is spotty and intermittent connectivity.  The Gateway is already in the highest window at our house.  Has anyone else encountered this phenomenon?  There is plenty of summer heat ahead, it would be nice if there is something that can be done to improve this situation.
