Unlimited Home Internet??

Just moved into our new house and were contemplating our internet options around us, which are few and far between. During our time of deciding, we made sure that the unlimited home internet was available to us and it was, all the way up until we finally pulled the trigger. The day we signed up, unlimited home internet was supposedly not available in my area anymore. We did have the option for the home internet lite plan, so we went with that in the meantime until unlimited was available in our area again. The lite plan was great up until we ran out of the 100GB of allowable data, now I can’t even load a webpage. I guess my question is, how often does unlimited data become available once it’s supposedly no longer available in my area? Do I have to wait for T-Mobile to build another cell tower in my area or something? If that’s the case, I’m going to stop my service and switch to Verizon. Any insight is appreciated.

Going to Europe

I am going to Europe for couple of years. I would like to keep my US number as I use it for business also. In the store they told me that if I was outside the US (phone not connected to US net) they would disconnect the line. I talked to one person who did go to Europe from 8/2020 - 5/2022 and that worked fine. It was not disconnected. It was on a $20 plan. Anyone have experience with this?

5G on Home Network

We have the Wireless home internet and our area shows the highest coverage of 5G but our speed is really bad. We have moved it around the home and get no more than 2 bars. We have tried to update the modem itself after getting into it with the modem settings and set them to what they should be. Found a website on tmobile that is supposed to be able to update the modem but its a dead site. Anyone know what is going on or possibly and tips, hints or possible resolutions they have found with this same issue?

Going on a cruise, will be stopping in Nova Scotia and we have only the senior plan.  Can we phone, text and use the internet without an additional charge or limitations?If not, what is required?Thanks!

no MMS on GCI towers

I am unable to recieve or send MMS messages when connected to GCI towers in Alaska. SMS, call, and data all work fine. The issue appears whenever I am on GCI network, and disappears when I drive through an area with t-mobile coverage.Here are the details of my issue:Google Pixel 6a Android 13 build TQ3A.230605.010.A1 T-mobile prepaid Error messages:Message expired or not available Trouble sending Here is what I have tried:various recommended APN configurations Ensure my plan and balance are valid Restart phone and reset connection with airplane mode switch texting apps / clear and reinstall app disable wi-fi calling update androidwhile these solutions worked for others, they did not for me. What are the next steps towards finding a solution?

bad coverage inside my house

Hi TMO Customer Support,kindly, I have no signal inside my house . This issue has been started since May . Looks like the site near by is down . RSRP Jumping -128 sometimes no services . My friends complaining once they visited me for both very bad throughput and bad coverage for android and IOS devices .thanks ,nezar

Home internet

First 2 months amazing connection, it is month that I have on-off connection every few minutes, several times called they refresh the connection then after an hour things get back to worse connection, I work from home and things getting bad, any hope? or should I change to another company!!

International SMS to Greece not working

For some months now, I have not been able to receive SMS messages from Greece, and the ones I send do not reach them either. This is through two different devices, and a friend (who also has T-Mobile) has the same issue, and to many different numbers and carriers in Greece, so I know it is a carrier issue on the T-mobile part. Friends on other carriers in the US do not have that problem reaching any number in that country.  Unfortunately, the “engineers” always come back with the same lame answer: “We have verified that the customer is properly provisioned for messaging services seeing no errors or restrictions.” Anyone have a clue if there is a way to escalate this so that they actually look beyond my account? Talking to T-Force has been the exact same loop. Thank you

3G/4G light on Cellspot

For the past three days the light for the 3G/4G on our CellSpot has not worked.  Several times we have unplugged the CellSpot and our modem and waited before plugging back in.  Not sure if this is making a difference in our coverage, what else  can we do?

International Pass starts Immediately

In the past, when I’ve purchased the one time International Data Plan I was asked when I want it to start. Yesterday I purchased it (planning ahead) and it started immediately!I was reading through other questions, and one user recommends purchasing a the plan when you arrive, so it starts immediately. I have to say this is awful advice. There are a ton of things that I have to do when travelling, getting hotels, arranging transportation, making sure I have my passport, etc… The last thing I want to have to ALSO do is sit down, hope I have a connection, and order the data pass. Let me do it in advance. Or give me an option to start it now, or start it at a date/time in the future.

Data issues - various phones, same account

Been having lack of data issues with several phones on my account - some iPhones, some Android.Iphones won’t connect to network if there’s no WiFi. Using Life360 on several phones that won’t update locations unless they happen to connect to WiFi, but then not consistently. What’s going on, T-Mobile? Service (AND customer service) has really taken a hit since we were forced to convert 100% from Sprint. In fact, it’s starting to suck so much that I’m really seriously going to another network - after being with [Sprint] for over 20 years.

customer service it's so outdated

I'm really REALLY tired of stupid customer service.Can you guys act like a big company and help me with my network unlock its been almost 3 months without any help.It's the worst customer service experience I ever had.If somebody reading this please don't go with t mobile or metro if you don't want the worst customer service

bad signal

I just called tmobile. Basically the tower 5 block from i can not connect to is because it only broadcast on 45 degree. It is facing away from me causing me to use the tower far from me causing me to have slow internet speeds. There is no fix untill 30 to 60 days and that is not gaurenteed to be fixed. What they advertise is false. There is not place to complaim to

Nokia Gateway keeps dropping internet

The towers have been down for a week in my area. Absolutely no service on any device. Now that it is back up my Nokia Gateway keeps dropping internet repeatedly. I have restarted it several times. I tried to upgrade my tower as I was told I was eligible and was sent another Nokia previously. Suggestions on how to fix this please. Husband is a gamer and it keeps dropping him while he’s online.
