New Pixel 6 Pro. Worked fine for first few days. Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet. There's an exclamation point in the notification area. If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data. Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.
I’ve spoken with T-mobile support several times about this issue and the last tec support guy said it’s due to the location of their towers but noone else around here is having the issue. My location is in another state and it’s bothersome when my bank sends me emails asking if it was me who just accessed my account. There are others who will do the same. And when I search for something, it brings up the wrong state. Google has me in the right location. This has to be a issue with my router. I hope to get this resolved this time and if not, I will be changing serversAdditionally, my laptop says it can’t connect to gateway! What’s this?
So far I’m very happy with my new home internet service and would like to set up the Ooma home phone as well but need to know if home internet goes down during hurricane response the same way voice calling goes down to provide bandwidth to first responders. Has anyone in south Texas experienced home internet throttling post disaster response? If so that would defeat the purpose of cancelling our expensive Windstream land line and migrating it to TMO. Thoughts on reliable VOIP home phone connections? Thanks in advance!ST outside of Houston
How do I get the hackers out of my iphone? I do not have Digits turned on, yet opened website for my account to for Digits turned on. I am only primary user. I do not have other devices to use my phone number and nor do I want to. I found on 11/28/2022 in the activity that “Digits was turned on by a store representative at 05:58” Who did this??? How do I prevent anyone from pretending to be me. They watch what I do on my phone, i have video of the scrolling in settings is choppy like my phone is fighting me. I turn airplane mode to take back control and I am being prevented from changing that setting. My phone has group messsging turned on and imessages after I turn it off and deregister on line and even after confirming facetime is off. The last day and this morning no one is answering the 611 call it just goes on and on. These hackers have ill gotten verizon tech coach equipment from my exneighbor I moved away from 3 years and 4 months ago They convinced neighbors behind m
Hi. Anyone out there use the Long Island Railroad at Penn Station in New York City? Well, sitting on the track level on the trains…..there seems to be NO TMobile signal whatsoever. Can’t browse at all using my Iphone. Coverage seems SO bad. (I just switched to TMO from ATT. With ATT, I always had decent internet coverage on these tracks!!!). Does anyone else experience this? Any possible solutions? Is there anyone we can complain to? Thanks.
Ever since the merger with sprint, t mobile has been absolute trash. Even after the new sim card its crap. Who ever thought it was a good idea to merge with sprint needs to get fired. Worst thing that has happened. And my job is dependant on having mobile data and if t mobile cant have their shit together then im gonna have to switch.
This is a Description of our Complaint with T-Mobile and the BBB:For the past almost 3 years we have had all of our family cell phone lines with T-Mobile. We switched over from Verizon about 3 years ago because we responded to a promotion offered by T-Mobile whereby offered much better coverage at much better prices. Turns out that their marketing in advertising campaign was misleading and inaccurate at best. From day one, the coverage and reception was below any basic level of acceptance causing phone calls in messages to drop or fail at a rate off three failed for one success. After a few months, I complained with T-Mobile, they profusely apologized and told us to be patient because they were in the process of rolling out their new 5G Network and also merging their Network with sprints, and they said that the coverage and service issues will greatly improve in a matter of weeks or a couple of months at the most. When this didn't happen, I called to request a transfer of service and t
So on 11-20 I ported my sisters # ending in 9311 from Cricket to my tmo family plan line ending 5818 & it was supposed to port over that line replacing it. It is now over 2 weeks & texts are only working on 5818 # & only sometimes 9311 #. Calls work fine on 9311 # & not on 5818 so its definitely SMS & MMS related. I am kinda looking like a fool now because some of her friends tell her texts are coming from 5818 & 9311. My sister needs her phone service to work & I just don't understand how it can't be figured out on tmo end? I know dual service is acceptable within the first 24 hours maybe even up to two days but over two weeks something is going on and needs to be fixed today. I reassured her how good T-Mobile service is and I'm sure she's having doubts now. I even asked technical support to do a rebroadcast of the # to reset it on all networks. It didn't seem to fix anything or they didn't do it right? Hopefully this can be resolved quickly. Thanks &
I use mosh (https://mosh.org/) to connect to some servers and have for years, which has normally worked fine, but for the last couple of weeks it has not worked over the tmobile network at all, the UDP packets never reach their destination.I can SSH into the servers fine and run commands over SSH, but when trying to switch to mosh, which uses UDP, all UDP packets to the host are dropped and never received, while if I switch to a wireless network then they are received at the destination fine, and have tested over multiple different ISPs to different destination servers.Support are useless, as expected when it comes to asking indepth questions about networking protocols.
I’m on the Magenta Max 55 plan and will be traveling to the Philippines later this month. I see a lot of confusing and contradictory information about costs and coverage while I’m there. In some places TMobile says the Philippines aren’t covered, in some places it says it is.Will there be fees for voice, text or data while in the Philippines? Are there limits on voice, text or data? Will buying an International Pass make any difference? And if you can point me to where I can find these questions answered clearly I’d really appreciate it.Thank you.-Brian
I recently got and installed a T-Mobile Sagemcom FAST 5688W 5G Gateway. When I connected my Windows 10 desktop wireless, there was a big number of web pages that I couldn't access. Farthemore, my Kaspersky antivirus software couldn't connect to the respective server to receive updates. When I connected my pc through ethernet cable, everything worked fine. I tried to access the router interface through the 192.168.12.1 address, but I was taken to this address http://192.168.12.1/home, where there were very limited options regarding the settings of the network. Any suggestions regarding how to short out my predicament? Thanks in advance!
Trying to research our own issue but keep getting 403 errors from this community site, might suggest T-Mobile is being DDOS or otherwise attacked, might be some indication why they say their towers are being upgraded or offline for days on end. Come-on T-Mobile let's get with the program you already have one breach reported.
I upgraded my perfectly functioning iphone 11 to the iphone 14 Pro. In the beginning, any text message to non-iphone failed to send. After many, many, many hours with Apple TS and T-Mobile TS, now I can send text messages that send to non iphone, non T-Mobile phones. However, any text with any type of attachment (contacts, photos, article links) fail to send to non i-phone, non T-Mobile phones. I have been back and forth between T-Mobile and Apple and both point the finger at each other. The problem has not been solved by a new e-Sim card, repeated restarts, settings changes, network resets.Does anyone else have this problem and if so, were you able to solve it? Apple and T-mobile TS obviously do not have a answer other than “Not our fault.”
I'm using T-Mobile in Netherlands. Recently, I went to Germany and the phone stopped working showing "no service". I've tried all the solutions from the troubleshooting: off and on, reset settings, manual operator selection etc. I even tried to put the sim into another phone. Result is always the same: no service, I cannot call and use data.Did anybody have such an issue? It looks like the sim is blocked for some reason.
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. I'm hoping yes and that there's an easy fix. I find that often, though not always, data connection drops while I'm traveling, possibly when switching towers? My phone will read 4-5 bars, LTE service but phone has completely lost all data connection. It's easy enough to fix by switching airplane mode on and back off again. Data comes right back, but it will remain shut off until I do this. It is incredibly annoying. Turning airplane mode on resets my tether/hotspot connection so that has to be redone as well which is extremely frustrating if trying to do something as simple as work from a train.I rarely am on the phone (i.e. on a call) when this issue occurs but the few times I have been I will also lose the call. Or if I have switched towers and have yet to enable/disable airplane mode, when trying to call my phone acts up and will freeze once I try to place a call. I have to wait for it to unfreeze, toggle airplane mode on and back off and t
