Even though T-Mobile shows on their map 5G and 4G LTE coverage near Ft. Morgan, AL we are experiencing with 3 lines, no coverage. One phone did receiver very intermittent coverage, so the T-Mobile coverage map is inaccurate. They need to put cellular towers in the area and provide mobile data coverage. After just switching from Verizon to T-Mobile, we are disappointed in not having coverage. Never had this issue with Verizon.
STYLO 4+ can make calls and text but can't access internet using teetering. Msg says "not registered". The phone is registered with tmobile but APN is grayed out with OTA displayed. Can't configure it manually. Cell phone is Sprint gsm unlocked. SPRINT support asked for previous number and account even though phone was never registered on Sprint network. Phone is open box. Tmobile support won't help either. Any experience out there?
A couple months ago I switched providers from Verizon to T-Mobile. I worked with T Mobile technical support to transfer my phone number to the new account. Ever since I switched over, I have been having issues with receiving text messages in group SMS chats (not iMessage). I’ve spent hours with T-Mobile technical support and even opened two different incident tickets with them. Each time I was told that someone would reach out with a status update for both tickets and neither time has anyone followed up regarding the ticket. For the first ticket, I had to go through the technical support chains to ask for a status update and they said “that was resolved a closed”, when in fact the issue has not been fixed. It seems like a trivial problem but it is a major disruption in my work and life, as I rely on group SMS messaging for many daily and work functions. To check on the status of my ticket I had to re-explain the issue to a technical support representative and then re-explain yet again
Looking to request site review for New Cell Tower… I’ve already used T-Mobiles Tower Site Map to verify lack of signal available. I own the property and have cleared the way (zoning etc) for cell tower installationI have already contacted the City of Covington, the County of Tipton and Ford's Blue Oval City Planners regarding this matter. We have received the approval to move forward from all parties concerned. Ford Blue Oval City planners have already felt the lack of reliable cell service while commuting to and from the Blue Oval City Location. In meetings with the City, County, and Blue Oval City officials have all agreed the demand is apparent and the need is significant. This demand will only increase over the next few months and years, with an additional 6500+ (Blue Oval City) Jobs/Employees moving into an area which is already poorly served by cell services. The site proposed is already correctly zoned for this use.
So I purchased a OnePlus 9 pro 5G (LE2127) from a reseller. I called T-Mobile to check the IMEI was good and I could use it and unlock it to use overseas on occasion. I was told there were no issues. The store checked before hand as well. I contacted TMobile and they kept having trouble finding it in their system. It showed up just fine in my TMobile app and online at my.tmobile.com. After 2 hours of really trying to solve it, they found it was originally a Sprint device and I would need to contact Sprint to have them unlock it for me. I have done that, although they won't help me because I don't have a Sprint account. I feel like I was just being transferred around and put off on different people. Can anyone help me in this situation or help point me in the right direction? Returning the device to the store doesn't seem like an option seeing how it works on TMobile and I called T-Mobile to verify everything in front of them. I'm just at a loss here and could use some help.
Good day everyone! I am a Samsung Galaxy S21 user locked to T-mobile. I have several questions at once. First: I unlocked the phone with temporary unlock and now I don't know if I can reset it to factory settings and still have the unlock. And the second: I'm from Ukraine, I bought the phone used from a person, but I've never been to the USA. Will I be able to unlock my phone forever? IMEI of my phone is 350336267245094 (P.s. Translated by google translator, so sorry if something is not written correctly)
My router as a two level logon protection and can SMS a code to my phone for verification. For this the router needs a URL string. Here is an example for another SMS provider: bulksms.vsms.net:5567/eapi/submission/send_sms/2/2.0?username=###txtUser###&password=###txtPwd###&msisdn=###txtDest###&message=###txtMsg###. Can anyone advise the format for using TMobile SMS?
I am unable to update my 911 address to use the Wi-Fi calling. When I make the attempt, it asks me to log into T-Mobile account which I do, then asks for my phone number to send a confirmation code via SMS but the code never comes and I'm stuck in a loop. Suggestions?
I have international roaming available as part of plan, but phone won’t connect to internet. I am currently in a city called Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The phone connects to a strong signal from Vodafone - India (and shows all bars are up on signal anywhere in city). But, when i try to start up chrome browser, it immediately shows “NO INTERNET”. Has been consistently doing it for past few days that i have been here. The obvious checks (Mobile data, Data roaming, Network operator etc) have all been checked. So, i am starting to think that vodafone india is throttling or cheating Tmobile on their end of the deal. If not, how can tmobile give me data service here ? I need to get this working soon, since i will be india for a while…..currently, i am getting by only on wifi connects.
Recently ported my number over from Verizon, along with 6 other family members. I have a note 20 ultra and am randomly not receiving texts. Happens more in group texts, but some individual ones too. I can't pin it to only iPhones, since I missed 2 android texts as well...but the majority are from what seems to be certain iPhone users. Some will come thru from them, but the majority won't. No one in my family is having issues. 2 of my brothers are in a group thread I'm in, one has an iPhone, the other a pixel and they are receiving everything. I'm using Google messages, and tried Samsung messenger as well. Issues both ways. I've done every trick t-mobile has suggested. Had their tech support walk me thru resetting the network on my phone, they also did it on their end. They haven't said to do a factory reset...before I try that on my own, does anyone have an experience like this and a solution? I hate factory resets so I wanted to try here first. I have no issues sending texts, a
I was having terrible coverage Network wise this morning with phone calls dropping every time I tried to make a call... this happened approximately 30-40 times.. what I did to solve it was I removed TikTok from my apps and then I restarted the phone and I have been having no problems ever since.. very very strange!! I looked at the amount of gigabytes that were getting downloaded this morning from tiktok and they were more excessive than usual.
I have iphone 12 mini which is Sim locked by T mobile. I have bought it from Japan Auction Market. I am unable to use in Bangladesh due to Sim locked by T mobile. I want to use it in Bangladesh. I have gone to different shop to unlock it but they are demanding huge amount to unlock it. Will you give me a fevour to unlock the simlock. My IMEI no is 357855861376495. I there fore pray and hope that you would be kind enough to unlock my Sim and oblige there by.
Texting from email to a T-Mobile number is HORRIBLE. I used that all the time at Verizon and it worked great but with T-Mobile it may be hours before the text comes thru to your phone. If they don’t fix that I will never renew with them.
My daughter is traveling to Ireland and Scotland on vacation.I called Tmobile to add text and data to her plan, and was told Tmobile does not have coverage in Ireland. They said they could unlock the phone so she can use a different sim card, but they couldn’t tell me where I am supposed to find this SIM card.Is that Correct? Ireland seems like a pretty well traveled destination, I cannot believe Tmobile does not have a solution for me.
Does anyone have any bad reception or Keep dropping calls when driving on highway with Prepaid? I have been using Prepaid Tmobile and make calls each morning, afternoon. However, Tmobile has bad and the worst tower. Driving on the highway for an hour, calls keep dropping for 15-18 times and hard to call connect again. Tmobile representative promised me to call back for feedback but did not happen.
I’m hoping someone can help because the “technical support” is USELESS with my issue.okay so, I went to Alaska last month, while there I noticed I would get multiple “your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again, or try 611 for more assistance,” messages on multiple 907 numbers called…but there no rhyme or reason to it. It’s happened so far with two landlines and one non-T-Mobile cell phone. And I can call again two seconds later and it goes through. The point is, it shouldn’t be happening at all. But since technical support screws my phone up more than help, can anyone else help?
New Pixel 6 Pro. Worked fine for first few days. Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet. There's an exclamation point in the notification area. If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data. Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.
Not a question but an information post for someone in the future to dig up.Opened new Tmobile One account and multiple lines. Transferred multiple numbers upon receiving sim cards (from Tmobile prepaid). One line could make and receive calls and texts, but did not connect to LTE data. Tested for device/phone issue by moving the sim to working phones, the line did not work in any of the phones.SOLUTION: Call 611 and ask for technical support, explain situation and tell them it is a problem with the line and Tmobile's side. Insist it is NOT a device issue to save time. They will suspend the line, reset/restart the line so it has all the correct settings for the Tmobile plan, restart your phone. This process will clear all your voicemail but I recently ported so nothing major. Total talk time: 17 minutes after getting tech support to realize it was Tmobile's problem.Underlying problem: Purportedly had to do with some settings on Tmobile's end during the transfer process that did n
I recently switched from AT&T and now I regret it. I live in Denver so I’m not rural. I live in a house, not an apartment building. With AT&T I rarely had less than three bars signal strength and usually four. Now I normally have one! And too often I receive the message that I don’t have service! When I try to send a text I get the spinning circle and then the faint little red triangle. Try again? Doesn’t do any good. Go outside, might work, might not. When I get service I know it because I get a string of beepidybeeps. Now I find that they sell “signal boosters” for T-Mobile phones. What gives?
