I’ve been with T-Mobile for a bit now and my coverage seems to only get worse. I got 5G and even with full bars it’s like I have no service. Like are you guys honestly doing anything to upgrade your service? I’ve been hearing it for the last few years that yes you are but I have yet to see any of it. It’s like if this continues I’ll have to leave which I don’t want to do.

The trouble I see is my phone shows “5G” even when it’s really just connected to an LTE site that is “eligible” to act as an anchor for 5G (for NSA mode), whether or not there’s actually a 5G in range, which is usually not the case where I live, since there are so few sites.

The other problem is that the number of bars (usually signal strength) matters little if the quality is poor or if the site is congested.

5G NR SA is a much different animal, especially when n41 is used.

go into your network settings and change it to 4GLTE/not sure what the TMO devices say on this side of it...should get you back up and going until something is done upgrade wise to the 5G in your area.
