coverage issues

Hi. In-store I was told my area currently has 5g coverage. I was assured I’d have no problems but if I do, customer service will send me a signal booster. They lied. Customer service wants to switch me to 4g LTE and send me an antennae to hook up to WiFi. VERY BAD ANSWER I was going to leave Verizon for this reason because too many times I need to walk up the road in a storm to get service so I can let cable and electricity know I don’t have service. Why did t-mobile lie to me?
