I recently upgraded my phone and this morning, about an hour ago, it disconnected from T-Mobile. Wifi calling is not available as an option anymore. Everything that relies on the service says “Temporarily unavailable” so I have no way to communicate via phone call now.The BIG question is: Given T-Mobile does NOT appear to have online support HOW DO I CONTACT THEM WITH A PHONE that does not work? I would laugh but I am not finding the fact that I have to go hunt someone else down and borrow their phone so I can try to resolve my phone in the middle of a workday….Am I missing options? I cannot believe the only option to contact them to get a phone fixed is via a phone. Who has two phones these days?More background:I ordered the phone from T-Mobile and traded my old phone in. It came without instructions, no sim card, no links to instructions, nothing. So I assumed I just needed to swap the SIM card to the new phone. It has been working for a few days now. If that is wrong let me know if
I have a new Samsung Galaxy phone and as of this week, I have not been receiving text messages from Iphone users. It is multiple people. If they get a text from me, it comes through several times to them. This needs to be repaired ASAP as this is how I communicate with clients. Does anyone have any ideas?
My father lives in a small town in southern Arizona. With Sprint, we had really good service when we visited him. We switched to the T-mobile SIM cards a few months ago. Now when we visit him, the service is pretty bad. I thought with the merger that we would have access to both networks. How do I contact T-mobile to let them know their coverage sucks there?
My husband and I have been Sprint customers for years. We had fairly decent cellular service in our home, maybe losing service twice in 4 years due to major storms messing with the towers. However, for some unknown reason that makes no sense to me (I’d assume service would improve), we now often entirely lose cell service completely at our home and within a 1 mile radius ever since we were instructed to change our SIM cards upon the T-Mobile/Sprint merger. Not only is this frustrating, but my business and sanity are suffering. I did not choose to work with T-Mobile. We had a contract with Sprint. Sometimes service is fine, but then for sometimes several weeks at a time, service is completely gone. We have tried recalibrating our phones, etc. My husband uses a Samsung Note and I have an iPhone 12 as well as a business cell that is also iPhone. All 3 phones stop working for calls and texts for weeks at a time. It is so unreliable and I am ready to find another option at this po
I have my Digits app working on a verizon smartphone, along with my T-mobile talk and text line. I’m trying to setup “cellular fallback” and it asks for the number of that phone. I enter the number and it asks me to enter the code I was sent by text. But I never get the text message.
I have 1 phone with a Tmobile plan and using Digits app on my 2nd phone which is a Sprint plan with Tmobile SIM card… from what I understand it shouldn’t matter what carrier you’re using as long as you have wifi or cell signal the calls & texts should come through to the app. I HAVE noticed that verification texts (from banks, password resets, etc) will NOT carry over to the Digits app and will only show up on the device with my Tmobile plan/SIM…. what’s strange is that I don’t receive texts from certain personal numbers (not sure what carrier) but I do know of one instance where a Tmobile customer had been trying to reach me via text several times per day for 4 days in a row and also tried calling me and none of the calls or texts came through to the Digits app. I would have thought that if any texts & calls were relaible it would at least be from Tmobile numbers. I have experienced issues in the past using VOIP apps where Verizon customers never received my texts but I wasn
I have a 5G Inseego M2000 Mifi device. I’ve had this device for over a year, and it has worked very well. I use it for Internet access for all my devices as I travel from place to place. I’m now in Mesa, AZ where I’ll be for a while. And the park that I’m at has free cable access for Internet. So, I discontinued T-Mobile for while I’m here. Unfortunately, the cable Internet had some issues, so I needed a backup and had T-Mobile reinstated. However, I have been unable to access the Internet from the MiFi device. I can connect to the device but have no Internet. If I do get Internet, it lasts for maybe 1 min, then disconnects from the Internet. I have worked with T-Mobile’s helpdesk, but I still don’t have access. Is there an issue with my MiFi, or is there an issue with T-Mobile. BTW: my neighbor appears to have great T-Mobile access.
New Pixel 6 Pro. Worked fine for first few days. Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet. There's an exclamation point in the notification area. If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data. Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings
T-Mobile, PLEASE DO NOT SHUT DOWN 2G! People may think it’s useless, but you need to THINK AGAIN!! Me (and many other people) still love to use 2G on older phones such as nokias. Also, many seniors use 2G on their flip phones and don’t want to upgrade to those crappy 4G flip phones or smartphones. Also, what if LTE or 5G fails? What will be the backup if it fails? It’s not just phones that use 2G, it’s also tracking devices, security systems, parking meters, cars, and other things that might not even be upgradable. It was fine when 3G shut down because everything that relied on it just downgraded to 2G and there’s actually much more room for 2G since 3G shut down. T-Mobiles 2G is one of the last (or last) GSM 1900 network and millions of phones will be useless when it shuts down. What if you’re in an area with poor LTE/5G coverage and need to make an important call? Or LTE/5G is acting up? What will you do? And back in 2016, T-Mobile was basically almost laughing at AT&T shutting d
So I’m working on a boat off the coast of Louisiana and phone working great. Then I get a notice of 200 MB usage used and phone stopped working. So I upgraded the International 15 GB of roaming for $50, and it says its on my phone, but phone still won’t work. Guys with AT&T are not throttled, but I am an originally a Sprint now T-Mobile customer. Any suggestions? Woty
I was notified that FCC Made Tmobe move to 5G. Tmobile notified me that FOR FREE I would need to come in and upgrade my phone to continue service because I bought a 3g Samsung phone from tmobile and would not receive service with 3G. This is a scam and lie. The thing is I had to pay more money for my Samsung and had to give up phone to them or no deal. Then tmovbile rips me off and provides me a generic cheap piece of garbage phone that doesn't cost as much as Samsung and did not pay me the difference then gives me their generic n200 charged me 50 dollars plus to upgrade for their Free phone. Tmobile should have given me the same type of phone Samsung but instead at a cost to continue service giving up my phone pay for the g5 upgrade. I am passed that tmobile lost all my messages pictures in this cost all my passwords short cuts now I can't take care of any business have to call everyone every bank every thing to get this stupid N200 to work like my Samsung brand unfare business p
So I'm sitting on my couch with my phone, browsing websites, streaming music, checking email... all of a sudden, my phone is acting like it has no connection. It shows 5GUC and all five bars but it's acting like I'm out of my service area. I turn on "airplane mode" for 5 to 10 seconds and turn it off, now everything is back to normal. This only started happening these last 2 weeks. What could be the cause? I haven't changed my plan, account settings, or location. (I am NOT using WiFi.)I am using the same phone I've had for thr last 6 months (Samsung S22+) so there hasn't been a change to equipment either. Again, this issue only popped up the last 2 weeks, and toggling airplane mode "refreshes" the connection. I also doubt its my data plan since i have not changed my usage habits and the billing cycle just reset. It's intermittent (so it could happen 6 times an hour, or once every couple of hours). Anyone have any clue on the cause and a possible fix?
I’ve been trying to connect my HP ENVY 4500 printer to my home internet. My printer says the IP is not connected. The printer recognizes my wireless network however when I try to put in the password and/or the IP address it does not accept either one. What am I doing wrong?
Today is May 23, 2022. I have been in Vancouver for a few days. No internet connection from the first day. Talked to customer services a few times, chat with them also. I think they are just giving me the runaround after reading other posts from Jan 2022. Does anybody has any success with internet connection in Canada? How did you do it? Thanks.
My s21 plus is stuck on Edge data only. It won't even load pages online because is so slow. 😩. It started about 2 weeks ago. It worked before great. I have another phone so I didn't pay much attention to it.I have tried: 1. Reset network and Factory reset.2. Band selection ×#2263# nothing works. gsm1900 must be on if not I get no data.3. Downloaded 3rd party app for band selection. 4. Change SIM my wife has the same phone but pink.5.if I put my Sim in my other phone 5g works great. So it's not the sim card. 🤔 6. I have used my wife's SIM in my phone and it only goes to edge.7. I did notice my wife 's phone under "SIM Card Status" it's different than mine .My phone stays on edge network. 😒. 8. I can make phone calls and text as long I don't turn off GSM1900. I had t-mobile 7years and I really never had any problems.so this is my first.
