Having problems sending texts from my Android phone. I can receive texts from other people. When I send, it shows as sent but the text never gets to the recipient. Other texting apps such as LINE and WhatsApp work fine. All phone software up to date, I tried turning Airplane mode off/on, powering down the phone, and resetting APN to default. Nothing works so far. Been stuck on hold with T-Mobile support forever now and their live chat is down.Would very much appreciate any suggestions or help. Thanks!
Hello. Question, I am looking at buying my son a ASUS ROG phone 5 as a graduation gift, he’s attending college in the fall as a “video game” designer, thought it would be a nice gift. But, I can’t find anywhere that T-Mobile supports ASUS on it’s network. Even the seller cannot or won’t confirm if it’s available on T-Mobile, will only state that it works on Mint. Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks!
I was with Verizon for many years and switched to T-Mobile this summer with the excitement of blazing fast magenta 5G and the promise of a lower bill and payoff of the balance remaining on my device from Verizon. Months later, I am still waiting for that virtual Visa card to pay off Verizon, I’m gonna end up paying it myself so that it does not go into collections. As far as the network. It’s been very disappointing. With Verizon I was used to crystal clear digital voice calls, reliably fast and far reaching network and data speeds. Once in a great while there would be a hiccup but it was always brief and self resolving. Ever since day one, my service with T-Mobile has been glitchy to say the least. Phone call quality is Poor most of the time. Data is sluggish and slow most of the time even when I have full bars LTE reception. It doesn’t seem to matter where I am either. Downtown, at my house or at my job. Even using iMessage on iPhone is glitchy. Messages take long to send and sometim
Issues with T-Mobile network reception. Misleading info on website. **May need to buy signal booster**
I recently moved to T-Mobile after checking on the web page that they have very good coverage in my area. After porting in my lines only I got to know that this was not the case. I never got more than 2 network bars will now and my signal strength also hovers around -115 dBm. I called tech team and they advised me that as the phone is not bought from T-Mobile I may experience and issue with the signals reception and quality (I use iPhone XS). The rep asked me to restart my phone as he has refreshed my sim - but after that as well - the reception was not good enough.I do have a question here - why the website provided false info about the network coverage and quality and why it is like if I do not buy phone from T-Mobile I may not experience quality coverage. I checked the details of my cellphone and it supports all LTE bands of TMo.Secondly - what can be done to resolve the issue.Thanks. Message was edited by: Piyush Khare
Constantly get a Not Registered On Network message when I try to use my Samsung Galaxy J7.Cannot make or receive calls without restarting or doing a power off/on. Sometimes I have to repeat restart a few times.Problem has been ongoing ever since I switched to T-Mobile in September of 2016.Phone has been replaced once under warranty and second warranty replacement phone is on the way.Several LONG phone calls to Customer Care have not resulted in any change to the problem.Often phone also appears to be dialing but you never hear the 'connected to' beeps first. After about 30 seconds an "Out Of Service Area" message appears.Or the call just "ends".Phone is set to WiFi calling due to extremely weak Cell Signal at my location. Personal CellSpot Wireless Router provided by T-Mobile is in use.No other WiFi devices are connected to this router.I have zero confidence that another phone will fix the problem, everyone just seems to be grasping at straws.Anybody else having this problem? Thanks in
I have international roaming available as part of plan, but phone won’t connect to internet. I am currently in a city called Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The phone connects to a strong signal from Vodafone - India (and shows all bars are up on signal anywhere in city). But, when i try to start up chrome browser, it immediately shows “NO INTERNET”. Has been consistently doing it for past few days that i have been here. The obvious checks (Mobile data, Data roaming, Network operator etc) have all been checked. So, i am starting to think that vodafone india is throttling or cheating Tmobile on their end of the deal. If not, how can tmobile give me data service here ? I need to get this working soon, since i will be india for a while…..currently, i am getting by only on wifi connects.
I have a tmobile sim card which I am currently using on an Iphone X. I am not Getting any reception since last 2 weeks. No network bars available.- Contacted customer care and made some network settings with them still doesn't work.- Selected manual network (Vodafone and Idea) and also kept on automatic network selection for a while. Still not working.- Indian Sim card works perfectly fine in the same phone.- Tried Tmobile sim card in Samsung S9, shows couple of network bars but unable to make calls or incoming calls. Says (Not on registered network)I have used tmobile sim card 1 year ago while Roaming in India in the same area and it worked perfectly fine. Now I am totally frustrated. I have interview calls lined up and other stuff and I am unable to do many things.
Ever since tmobile started switching over to 5G and merged with sprint the service is absolutely terrible. These days it'll say I have 5 bars with 5G and I can't load up anything. I generally keep my phone on LTE in order for it to be usable but it's still super slow. It's not just in new areas either, I've had tmobile for 10+ years and places that used to be great won't even load up a snap chat properly anymore let alone something high speed worthy. My friends and family that have tmobile are all considering switching, most likely to Verizon, and I'm trying to hold out but man is it getting hard. When exactly will tmobile get through these "growing pains?"
T-mobile,Your claim that there is an 'excellent signal' at where I am located is false. Your maps indicate that there is 4G LTE 'excellent signal' and that 4G LTE 700 (Mhz) is available here. I recently got an iphone 6s and tested it here but to my disappointment, the signal strength is 'weak' at best and poor and spotty most of the time. Something as simple as a line of text takes tens of minutes to send and at times, doesn't send at all because it times out. Your website: Extended Range LTE | 600 MHz & 700 MHz Spectrum Phones | T-Mobile indicates that iphone 6s does support 4G LTE 700 (Mhz), but in reality and many times, there is no data coverage at all (i.e. data coverage that doesn't work). This phone actually did worse than my older iphone 5s which didn't do all that well either, which was the reason I looked for phones that support more 4G LTE bands and technologies. Now, I'll probably return my iphone 6s.I believe that such false information should NOT be released to
Have seen little for repairing this error code. New Samsung Galaxy S9 on T-Mobile network. Wi-Fi calling would not enable came back with code either reg90 or reg99.After much research, came to conclusion that it was sim problem. I went into settings apps shows list of app installed. Find sim tool kit. Click on icon then storage. Clear cache then app data. Reboot. Problem was fixed. Hope this helps someone.
One of my family members will be abroad (Toronto, Canada) for an extended period of time (4-8+ months, maybe longer), and I may be joining them as well.I know that there is coverage provided to us through our T-Mobile ONE plan for Canada, but are there time limits to that coverage? We've been to Toronto before with our T-Mobile plan, so we know we have good coverage and that we'll be on WiFi most of the time there anyway, just this is going to be an unusually long visit. We are not heavy users of data, almost never going above 1 GB in a single month, but we need to know now before they go up there if we are going to incur some unexpected charges for being abroad for an extended duration and need to plan our cellular service accordingly.
I keep having problems with my new Galaxy S20 G5 , disruption of service, random message of no cellular data available, and so on, this is a $1000 phone and it’s not working correctly !!https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S20/Galaxy-S20-G5-disruption-with-txt-and-calls-not-wifi-or-cell/m-p/1408219#M16453
Hello, I am trying to determine if and when T-Mobile will offer 4G LTE coverage in the state of West Virginia. Up till now T-Mobiles coverage has only been in fringe areas along border states. ATT, Verizon, US Cellular, and Sprint all have coverage here but T-Mobile has always ignored the state. I've been reading about the new spectrum and have heard rumors that T-Mobile will be aggressively building out new areas including West Virginia but I'm not sure how reliable that info is. I'm currently with ATT after being with Sprint for several years. The ATT network has seen a significant decrease in speed and performance here. Just looking for future options. I like that T-Mobile has sort of blazed new trails with some of their plans and policies. I'm wondering if it's something I may be able to take advantage of in the near future.
Like many of you, I am not satisfied with TMobil's cell services. After nearly two years and many conversations with Customer service agents I am about to throw in the towel and move back to Verizon. I should add that I moved to TMobil out of frustration with Verizon and dazzling TMobil advertisements. My experience is like many of yours, poor reception and poor data services even when my phone shows 5 bars of 5G. I wonder if the phone is misrepresenting actual signal strength. I tried everything, phone reboots, signal boosters and even spent $600 on a better phone. The signal is awful on all three phones on my plan. My only question is, how is TMobil making all of their "best network" claims when so many of us are unhappy?
I ordered a signal booster from T-Mobile due to poor signal in my Manhattan apartment. They sent a unit and I had no trouble setting it up. Everything seemed to be working fine, but there was no improvement on my devices. Still 1 bar, which drops out when walking around the apartment. Tech support did some superficial flow chart troubleshooting and quickly opted to send out a new unit it exchange for the current unit. The new unit arrived, same result. Everything seems to be functioning properly except there is no signal improvement. It's as if my devices don't see the coverage unit to connect to it. I called tech support back, the did the same superficial flow chart troubleshooting and again, offered to replace the unit. They assured me they will test the unit before shipping it, just as they did the second time. Since I don't seem to be getting anywhere with the Kolkata call center, I thought I would ask if anyone in the US would have some first hand experience why this is happening.
Before, the signal was great, always staying at 4 bars. I don't know what happened within the last couple of months. The maximum amount I can get is 2 bars, connected to my wifi or on LTE. Sometimes I even get no service. Ive tested my internet connection online and it always says that there's nothing wrong. What can I do to get the 4 bars again?
I just upgraded to the iPhone 12Pro. I have had a slew of issues this week regarding MMS/SMS messages with androids. Whether in an individual message or in a group chat, I am missing messages. In the group chat with androids, I also miss the texts with iPhone users because everything is sent via MMS.This is incredibly frustrating and no one seems to have an answer. Apple is quick to say it’s the carriers problem but T-Mobile says it is an Apple problem. I am missing full conversations with people and I don’t know about it until I’m asked in person why I’m just not answering anything. This was also happening on my iPhone 8+ as well, so I don’t necessarily think it’s the device per se. I am running iOS 14.2. Users on Reddit are saying this is happening to them too, and it’s not just iOS 14.2 and not just the iPhone 12 series.Everything in my messages is turned on so I should be receiving these texts. My friends phones are all different types of androids and different carriers, but it seem
I have a small cabin near Milltown WI that has extremely limited T-Mobile service. I have one window where my iPhone can reliably get service. However, I have to use the speaker phone to make calls, as moving the phone even slightly causes the connection to drop. Until recently, I was lucky if I got Edge service, which was still totally useless for any data usage. A couple of months ago I started getting very limited LTE connections. The data rate is quite decent (~10 MBits down), but virtually useless, as I can't move the phone from the window sill (the saving grace is that the personal hotspot works with my laptop). Last week I talk to T-Mobile about getting a 4G LTE Signal Booster. They graciously waved to rule that I could only have one Cell Spot device for my account (I already have a Cell Spot Router for my basement office; T-Mobile ROCKS!!!). Just got the unit installed and running at the cabin. Here are my observations: 1. I have a VERY small cabin, making it very diffi
Been using my recently-received Samsung Note 10+ 5G phone for a month or two now. I noticed that sometimes, when I arrive at home and the phone automatically connects to my home Wifi (Netgear Orbi Mesh routers) it can't seem to access the Internet through the Wifi. All the other devices on the router and Wifi seem to work fine. I have to either disable the Wifi on the phone and re-enable it or, if that doesn't work, reboot the phone. Wondering if others are seeing this same behavior?Regards,Dennis
My service plan has 4 lines - 3 voice and 1 hotspot. The voice lines are newer Motorola android phones and the tablet hotspot is a 2017 iPad Pro. All 4 are in different locations showing "good" or "excellent" LTE signal on the coverage map. For the first few months on the plan since switching to TMO, everything was gravy. Over the last several months however, all 4 devices will randomly drop signal while they have full bars and LTE. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
Been having issues with receiving text messages. This is group chats amongst varying phone operating systems (i.e. android, iOS) as well as single messages. (IOS to android) . I have tried nearly all troubleshooting techniques with no success . I've linked a precious thread which explains my exact issue in detail (Missing random texts from multiple (iOS and android) devices ) .I would like to know if anyone else is still experiencing these issues? I seriously think this is an issue related to the T-Mobile network and if I cannot get this resolved soon, I will be leaving T-Mobile . @tmo_sean_h can you please assist me in troubleshooting this or direct me to someone who can? I'm on a Samsung S10 Plus but have also had issues on an iPhone X . Thanks, Dan
