I am a TMO customer for last 10 months. I do substantial amount of international travel. I am currently in India and I took a Consumer Global Plus plan that gives you unlimited voice and 15 Gb of data . This worked seamlessly in Mumbai with no issues. As soon as I landed in Indore which is another town in central part of India, my phone is not connecting to any cellular network. I spend my entire day yesterday with TMO suppprt to resolve this issue but no luck. They also got Apple support who also looked at the issue and found no issues. They opened up the ticket with their Engineering team 25378726 .
I used to get alerts on my phone by using email@example.comStopped receiving these alerts about an year agoAll other carriers are getting these alerts, also t mobile users are getting these alerts, except my phone. Not sure, what is causing it. Any help is appreciated.I tried to put my sim card in another phone and see it the alert gets delivered, no luck so far.Doesn't seem like a phone issue.Srickar, i have seen you helping other users with this issue, i have sent u a follow request hoping that you help me out.I am wondering if my number is blacklisted for these alerts because sometimes i get a lot of these alerts.
I switched to T-Mobile about a year ago mainly because of the Military One plan but also because I was told that T-Mobile officially supports customers in Alaska. My kids live up in Anchorage and I pay for their plan. Come to find out that their house, while in the middle of the city and bright magenta on the coverage maps, don't have T-Mobile Service. So I tried calling support to see if I could get a signal booster for their house or a WiFi signal extender just to be told that they will not support low coverage areas in Anchorage. Because T-Mobile doesn't have towers there, they've partnered with a local company, they won't support me or stand by their coverage claims. I've been told that I will need to purchase my own cell phone extender. Does anyone know of a good signal booster that will work for my kids? I'm sick of not being able to talk to them because the call drops every 30 seconds.
Maybe I can get some help here - calling support was a big FAIL today. Can't believe how uninformed the high level tech support I got was. Didn't have a clue about LTE band numbers - really.I'm in zip 81601, nearest to tower close to the airport (south part of town). Very close, but there's a big hill between. After a couple of great years of service in my location (using then newly added Band 12 ), our signal disappeared in July or so - on three different phones, all at the same time.Tech support told me a few weeks ago the tower was being upgraded. And now they said the upgrade is finished. And Band 12 seems to be gone.(Still can use WiFi, but it was really nice to be able to go for a walk and still have cell service!)Don't know if it got replaced by Band 71, but no one in tech support seems to be able to provide this basic information. So did the tower get downgraded by losing Band 12 - maybe got Band 71 instead? My iPhone 7 has 12, but not 71. I'll upgrade to one with Band 71 if I ha

International Plans | Traveling Abroad without Roaming Fees | T-MobileThis webpage says while I can get a coverage while traveling abroad to South Korea, none of the more popular devices (such all iPhone and Samsung models) are not be compatible to use in Korea. T-Mobile might as well just say travelers do not get coverage in South Korea.Has anyone used iPhone XS Max in Korea without any issues? I have an Unlocked version. What phones are compatible in South Korea if the phones most people use are not compatible?
Has anyone else noticed that T-Mobile’s coverage map is misleading and flat out wrong? Part of the reason we joined was due to their claim of having full coverage in a part of Wisconsin. First time we were there we had zero service through T-mobile, and we ended up on a AT&T network. That then treated our service as roaming and did not allow for us to use data. I proceeded to call T-mobile and they confirmed their map is wrong and they use a roaming partner (AT&T) there and “appreciated the feedback”. Despite that, they haven’t corrected the issue. Seems like a false claim T-Mobile should be held accountable for. Anyone else come across this? And did they report this to any regulatory authorities? @tmobile-admin
Hi, this is my 1st time posting this forum.I recently moved to a new place in California zip code 91731 where, in T-Mobile coverage map, I'm supposed to get "Good" coverage. However, average download speed on 4G LTE is less than 0.5 mbps. Often see around 0.07 mbps. It's unusable. Can't even refresh Gmail app often times. So I called the T-Mobile customer service.1st time they told me that it's because I have an old phone that doesn't work with 600mhz band which covers the area I live in.Ok, so my wife and I went ahead and got ourselves two google pixel 3a phones spending about $900.However, on the new phone the result is same.2nd call, the representative told me and insisted that the slow data speed is because I had used more than 50gb and deprioritized. So after my billing cycle refresh 14th of September, it'll be fast again.Even on the month I used 100gb i never experienced data speed this slow. So I checked data speed on my wife's phone, on which she had only used about 20gb of data,
I temporarily unlocked my phone because I'm currently overseas and wished to used a local sim. I have some business that requires that I receive texts on my US number however. When I'm using the local sim, everything works fine. When I switched back to the US sim, I couldn't receive call or texts. I know the sim is working, the data roaming works and I can send texts just fine. I can't call though, I receive a 'can't make outgoing calls while call barring is on' notification. I've tried removing call barring, but it seems TM devices don't have that feature. I wanted to contact support directly, but I need to verify my account which of course requires I receive a text message. What do I do?
As stated, over the past year, it seems as if my service has become worse and worse. My calls have been dropping frequently daily even with full bars LTE. Not only have I been having these issues the other individual on my plan is having the same issue. Has there been some change in the network? This is becoming frustrating to the point where switching carriers may become at option even if I have to pay more.
I frequently travel to a remote area of southern Utah that is served by only one tower near the top of Navajo Mountain. This tower is shared by National Park Service (VHF), Verizon, and Commnet-USA. According to the online map, T-Mobile customers should have third party coverage from this tower over a large area (except when blocked by canyons)I have used this tower before with TracFone and Verizon. I have friends with AT&T who can connect to this tower. Commnet-USA provides T-Mobile roaming service at Bullfrog and Hanksville. I can connect, call, text, and use internet and voicemail in these places. But, I cannot connect to the tower on Navajo Mountain. Phone does not connect automatically. When I switch to manual and select Commnet-USA, it says "Can't connect". Various 'expert's have given various answers but so far there has been no solution. I even spent a couple of hours in the area calling from a friend's phone to multiple 'expert's and engineers - no help.Last week I got
hello all,we've had the Home Internet service for a week or so.and at least twice, the gateway device had to be power-cycled to bring back internet access.otherwise, it has performed just great, getting upwards of 35-40 Mbps.so i have 2 questions:1) have you had to do the same, that is, power-cycle? hopefully, this won't become a habit.2) i did not see any way to updating the firmware. how is this done?thanks for any feedback...

I am looking to buy a used unlocked iPhone 6s (a long story, but I will be using it only for about a year) to use on the T-Mobile network. I currently have iPhone 5s and heard that all I need to do is to simply get the SIM out of 5s and put it into 6s. I travel to Japan often. I wonder if the used unlocked 6s will work fine there. With the 5s I have now, it automatically connects to one of the local carriers in Japan with no effort whatsoever on my part. Does anyone know anything about this???

I challenge ANYONE at T-Mobile!!! Take my phone to the following location where T-Mobile customer service SWEARS has a proven signal. If you connect to T-Mobile ill shut my mouth and never say another peep, If it doesn't get connection (It wont) than T-Mobile lets me out of my contract free and clear! Because surly T-Mole would force their customers to uphold their end of the contract if T-Mobile fails to provide the agreed upon service right? That would be unconscionable right?? T-Mobile???Marysville, Michigan, 48040.Harsens Island Michigan, 48028.ANY area not directly in a populated city. how I could pick soo soo many different places where my T-Mobile phone doesn't work, yet my friends with Verizon have ZERO issues, WTF?I keep having connectivity issues anytime I am outside of a populated city. When I go to work in Maryville Michigan (48040) I always loose access to the T-Mobile network. On the off chance I do connect, its slow and only lasts a minute or two before switching to the
