I'm tired of reporting this. At ZIP code 46268, you get 4G, except DATA DOESN'T WORK!!! AT ALL!!! When is this going to be fixed! It's really frustrating when I spend the majority of my day in an area that T-mobile supposedly covers, but is broken. I can move to any other ZIP code around there and get data, but not at 46268. If there are no plans to fix this, I'll go with some other carrier.
My Pandora plus gift from August 2018 is set to expire, according to the terms if I don't cancel the trial I will begin to be charged for the service. However, the trial cannot be cancelled through the Pandora website and must be cancelled through T-mobile. How then do I proceed to cancel the trial before it expires on the 28th of August and begin to be charged for the service? Real answers only please, i.e. no speculation about not being charged because Pandora doesn't have my billing information etc.
I again visited Redfield, Iowa area for a couple of days and again found that our phones indicated "Searching" while we were in town, offering only emergency service, though the US Cellular was very strong. The T-Mobile coverage map shows that Redfield should be covered by US Cellular Roaming. Redfield is located on the western edge of Dallas County, about 30 miles west of Des Moines. There is a US Cellular tower located in Redfield. There is another US Cellular tower 3 miles to the southwest in Guthrie county. I found that while I was in Guthrie county our phones would connect and work well with the other US Cellular towers while we were not within range of a T-Mobile tower. Is it possible that the US Cellular tower at Redfield would not connect because T-Mobile doesn't allow US Cellular roaming in Dallas County? If so, the map really should show that there is no coverage at Redfield. It would be good if coverage from that tower could be enabled. Or even better, if a T-Mobile tower co
I have occupied the exact same office for 18 years. I have had the exact same phone for 2 years (Galaxy S8). I never had a problem using my phone in my office prior to the recent Android update to Version 9. The day before the update to 9 my phone IN MY OFFICE was perfect. The day after the update to Version 9, I get 4 bars but no "4gte." I have 4 bars but no identifying mark of any cellular network whatsoever. It is quite annoying and will likely be the trigger that switches me (and the 3 family members on my account) to switch to Verizon or ATT or Comcast. T-Mobile, I like you just fine, but if you don't fix this, you serve me absolutely no purpose and I am paying for a service I can't use.
Good aftenroon,I am a 15 year member with T-Mobile and love the ability to have service overseas and generally happy with the service overall. While I am at work though I don't get any service at all at my desk and have to walk outside to make/receive calls and still the reception is blah. I have been told "network upgrades are heading to your area" over two years ago and still nothing. The only provider that seems to get service here is Verizon and feel like I need to switch since my phone does nothing in our building. Is there anything that I might be missing? We have public wifi available but don't really want any of my information flying around our building.Cheers
Why do I have poor and frequently "no service" in areas listed as "4G LTE HD voice and our top data speeds, Fair signal: Cell reception outdoors and occasionally indoors" according to the T-Mobile coverage map (Patuxent River, MD). I just recently switched to T-Mobile after consulting the map and have been very disappointed. Is the coverage map simply inaccurate? It is quite a hinderance to have absolutely no cell signal while at work during the day.
I was wondering. What should I expect when 600mhz does come to my area? I mean will I get better signal? Will data speeds increase? I dont think my area will get the 5G. But I know 600mhz is coming to my area. So, basically what would I see different from my current coverage and data speeds? Thanks ahead of time,Andy
I believe this is a dangerous matter. When i planned my family's camping trip i researched to make sure where we would stay would have some service. I picked a Yogi bear campground in new Hampton, new Hampshire. When we get there no service at all. Not anywhere around the grounds and nothing for miles away from the place either. The coverage map says fair reception as well as stating the phone quality needed. We all have top of the line phones, 2 note 9 and 2 iphone XR. None of them received any reception and when reception did become available (miles away from the campground) we all connected at the same time (all phones blow up simultaneously.)I also noticed that others had cell service one person i asked said they have verizon. The campground internet was down so i had no way of keeping contact with family back home (elderly parents and a grand child on the way) and 2 teenagers that where not happy they had no service for things like music (they would have brought a few music CD's).
Hello,I am abroad in Portugal and my phone is not connecting to the local network. This is not an issue of international roaming being turned off – I have zero bars, the phone will not connect to the local network to even give me the opportunity to roam. My phone is an unlocked Sony Xperia XZ.I have a prepaid sim from T-Mobile.International Roaming is turned on.There is not a local network outage. I have a second phone that is able to connect to the local network (not t-mobile sim), I put the T-Mobile sim in the phone and it won’t connect to the local network.I searched for all local networks in settings/service providers and tried to connect manually to every one on the list. None of them connect. Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a problem with my sim card?Thank you
After talking with with my team of experts and the status of low band in Memphis which has long been delayed for 2 reasons, 1) channel 51 didn't relocate until the absolute latest they could in NOV 2018 2) T-Mobile doesn't have any Band 12 here, it was one of the few markets Verizon didn't include in the 700A sale to TMO. They took a couple of addresses where I was having signal issues and 2 of the 3 had expected dates for Band 71 and sure enough today I checked and bingo I had service and it was Band 71. Here is the million dollar question though; T-Mobile bought 20x20 600 Mhz in this market so why are they only using 5x5 MHz channel?? It was my understanding that 5G and LTE could coexist. The other mystery is on that tower when I get out of the complete dead zone and it flips to Band 66 it is now 10x10 MHz with Band 71 5x5 showing secondary when before and the next tower down my Band 66 is 15 x 15 MHz with no Band 71 showing as secondary. Really weird!!Don't get me wrong comin
I have 6 lines for my family. We moved to Ohio last year and the coverage is god awful basically anywhere that isn't a major city. The coverage maps show fair to good 4g LTE in basically all of Ohio (including all of the places I mention below), but my wife and I regularly in end up places where we don't have 3g, no internet at all, and even no ability to make phone calls at all. We've had Tmobile for something like 7 years now and it was great in GA, but we are to the point where we are going to have to change carriers because so often we can't use our phones at all if there's no wifi around.Springfield: Shows good to excellent signal on the coverage map and can't get signal in the parking lot of the Walmart off 40.Mechanicsburg: Show fair signal on the coverage map, but can't even make calls out there. Brothers house outside of Cable: Shows fair signal on the coverage map, but can't even make calls (the map does at least show no signal in areas close by, so this one is understandable
I am unable to enable Wifi Calling. every time I try to enable it pop up page "add an E911 Adress to your account" pops up. I already set an E911 address on My T-mobile to use Wi-Fi calling. I confirm the address on my iPhone and press "save" . Pop up window "Updating..." and then after a few seconds another window with "T mobile Error - There was a problem in processing your request. please try again." I've been trying for 4 hours now with no luck. I made sure other devices can connect to and use the Wi-Fi network.I verified the Wi-Fi password is correct.I changed the computer's network security type to one the device supportsI checked that the router has the most recent software and is connected to the modem. My speed is faster than .25 MbpsI reseted router, phone, airplane mode, everything. Does anyone know what should I do?
I recently got the cel-fi signal booster because outside my house I can get 3 to 5 bars of lte. But inside I lose all signal except for a few places I can get 1 to 2 bars. I am a tmobile field technician so I know where the towers servicing my home are, and I put my phone in test mode to find the strongest signal in my house. I was able to get -103 on the wall at the top of my garage. However, when I mounted the window unit there, it would get no bars. But if I set the unit on a stand on the opposite side of my garage where it gets -112 signal then the unit will connect with 1 bar. I have also taken the unit outside and let it sit where my phone would get 4 to 5 bars and the unit would still not connect. I've replaced the unit and still have the same results. Has anyone encountered this and found a way to get the window unit to connect?

bHi, I have an eSim w/ a T-Mobile ONE Prepaid on an iPad mini 5 / iPad mini 2019. when turning celluar data ON unfortunately the personal hotspot for tethering with devices via bluetooth/WiFi is not activating. The plans details state that tethering on 3G is included with a data flat.Is this a specific mobile setting in IOS 12? I get 3G connectvity if the LTE option is DE-activated, but the mobile hotspot is not activating (just searching a couple of minutes, the stopping); of course WiFi and bluetooth are activated ; even when WiFi/bluetooth is deactivated the mobile hotspot is not even asking for starting WiFi/bluetoothAny ideas or insights?Kind regards!
