Not able to access 4G

I just bought a new T-Mobile SIM Card for my Xiaomi Redmi 3X phone. The phone is 4G LTE enabled, and my data plan is 4G. T-Mobile coverage maps show my area (53562) as having good 4G LTE coverage. Yet whenever I'm trying to access mobile data, it shows my network as T-Mobile E! (To make it even odder, as soon as I have wifi, it shows my network as T-Mobile 4G.) Is there any way to convince my phone to let me get 4G speeds like I'm supposed to be able to get?

Phone will no longer open front door to building

I have been trying to troubleshoot this since last October. I have had several different cell phones since I have lived in my location over the last 6 years. I live in a condo and our phone number is plugged into a call box so that when someone arrives at our building, they find us on the call box, press Call and it rings our phone. We then press 9 to unlatch the front door. It suddenly stopped working last October. Around that same time I switched phones. Both were Samsung, but different models. Our call box was replaced around that time as well. I have tried to work with Samsung and the entry system people to no avail. When I say stopped working, I mean when I press 9, the door would not unlatch. It would sometimes work if I tried calling myself outside the building from the call box. In the past week it doesn't even ring my phone anymore, it goes straight to voice mail. So I don't know someone is outside unless they call my cell phone directly. Could this be a coverage issue? T-mobile Tuesday Pandora Plus Cancellation

My Pandora plus gift from August 2018 is set to expire, according to the terms if I don't cancel the trial I will begin to be charged for the service. However, the trial cannot be cancelled through the Pandora website and must be cancelled through T-mobile. How then do I proceed to cancel the trial before it expires on the 28th of August and begin to be charged for the service? Real answers only please, i.e. no speculation about not being charged because Pandora doesn't have my billing information etc.

Data not working at zip code 46268

I'm tired of reporting this. At ZIP code 46268, you get 4G, except DATA DOESN'T WORK!!! AT ALL!!! When is this going to be fixed! It's really frustrating when I spend the majority of my day in an area that T-mobile supposedly covers, but is broken. I can move to any other ZIP code around there and get data, but not at 46268. If there are no plans to fix this, I'll go with some other carrier.

Call Quality at work is awful.

Good aftenroon,I am a 15 year member with T-Mobile and love the ability to have service overseas and generally happy with the service overall. While I am at work though I don't get any service at all at my desk and have to walk outside to make/receive calls and still the reception is blah. I have been told "network upgrades are heading to your area" over two years ago and still nothing. The only provider that seems to get service here is Verizon and feel like I need to switch since my phone does nothing in our building. Is there anything that I might be missing? We have public wifi available but don't really want any of my information flying around our building.Cheers

Any recommendations on a non T-Mobile signal booster/repeater?

I am in need of a signal booster or repeater for my home for the T-Mobile service. Despite I get good LTE Band 2 signal outside, the house has a literal tin foil hat embedded in the exterior walls, a part of improving the house's energy efficiency. It causes more trouble for my cellphones trying to get out.I have requested for the T-Mobile's window signal booster, but my area apparently lacks the necessary bands, therefore I will have to pay a bit more for my own signal booster. Anyone have any recommendations?

Cannot Disable "Call Forwarding When Busy"

I have several call forwarding options activated on my iPhone. One of them is "Call Forwarding When Busy" (**67*+PhoneNumber). This worked well for a long time.Now I want to disable this "Call Forwarding When Busy" which should be possible by dialing ##67# on my iPhone. However, when I do this I only get - after some time of waiting - the error message "Setting Erasure Failed. Data Call Forwarding When Busy."How can this be fixed? Thanks.

4G LTE Signal Booster not working

I found an old thread (link at bottom) that was never fully answered but it seems I am having similar issues so I am hoping to hear if anyone else can help me? To start off, my office is located in the heart of downtown Tampa, Florida where the coverage should be great and am using an iPhone 8 which I purchased from T-Mobile almost a year ago when I signed up. I had no issues whatsoever with coverage up until about a month ago. Outside of my building it still does appear to be working ok but now I am getting incredibly slow speeds inside my office (14th floor) and more specifically at my desk. I have filed numerous complaints only to be told the Engineers opened ticket, checked into this and everything is fine at the towers and with the network. Beyond this I have tried many many troubleshooting steps of my device both recommended by T-Mobile and whatever research I can do myself. My phone works flawlessly at home so I have a very hard time believing it is device specific. After all of

US Cellular roaming not as shown on map

I again visited Redfield, Iowa area for a couple of days and again found that our phones indicated "Searching" while we were in town, offering only emergency service, though the US Cellular was very strong. The T-Mobile coverage map shows that Redfield should be covered by US Cellular Roaming. Redfield is located on the western edge of Dallas County, about 30 miles west of Des Moines. There is a US Cellular tower located in Redfield. There is another US Cellular tower 3 miles to the southwest in Guthrie county. I found that while I was in Guthrie county our phones would connect and work well with the other US Cellular towers while we were not within range of a T-Mobile tower. Is it possible that the US Cellular tower at Redfield would not connect because T-Mobile doesn't allow US Cellular roaming in Dallas County? If so, the map really should show that there is no coverage at Redfield. It would be good if coverage from that tower could be enabled. Or even better, if a T-Mobile tower co

Does T-Mobile have access to CellMapper app data?

I often wonder if T-Mobile uses other sources to verify their network coverage. We all know about Open Signal, Rootmetrics, Sensorly, and Ookla and how everybody uses them to prove their speed or coverage over another carrier.Obviously those are company products and cellmapper is a developers app, but with such a large crowd sourced database of information does T-Mobile take a look at anything like that be it officially or unofficially?For instance I've used the app most everywhere I go on a regular basis at least several times to build a pattern. I have found many areas where I had good to great signal where the T-Mobile coverage maps say I should have none. Obviously this is a much more accurate description of the network and we also know that the coverage maps are generally outdated and not very accurate along the outside borders of proposed coverage.CellMapper has really helped me prove to naysayers that coverage in some rural areas is actually much better than they thought because

Extended Stay Abroad

One of my family members will be abroad (Toronto, Canada) for an extended period of time (4-8+ months, maybe longer), and I may be joining them as well.I know that there is coverage provided to us through our T-Mobile ONE plan for Canada, but are there time limits to that coverage? We've been to Toronto before with our T-Mobile plan, so we know we have good coverage and that we'll be on WiFi most of the time there anyway, just this is going to be an unusually long visit.We are not heavy users of data, almost never going above 1 GB in a single month, but we need to know now before they go up there if we are going to incur some unexpected charges for being abroad for an extended duration and need to plan our cellular service accordingly.

Random Signal Dropping from full LTE

My service plan has 4 lines - 3 voice and 1 hotspot. The voice lines are newer Motorola android phones and the tablet hotspot is a 2017 iPad Pro. All 4 are in different locations showing "good" or "excellent" LTE signal on the coverage map. For the first few months on the plan since switching to TMO, everything was gravy. Over the last several months however, all 4 devices will randomly drop signal while they have full bars and LTE. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

cell spot problem

So have had a cell spot for about 6 months and it will not work as soon as I plug it into my router it shuts down my entire internet on the farm and can't find anyone at T-Mobile support that can tell me how to fix it. I have to unplug the cell spot and reboot my router to get my internet back again. Then if I hook up the cell spot again and have tried several times it takes my internet down every time. I'm thinking it must be a setting in my router or at my ISP but what do I know
