Recently, I have decided to purchase a new phone. I have took a great interest in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (2015 Version) due to its specs. The only doubt I currently have is if it will work with the T-Mobile network. I believe that it would be a shame to buy a phone and find out that it doesn't work with the desired network. I've seen other versions being uncompatible with this network but the bands have changed and I'm not sure if it work on the network.

4G Network
Support for TDD-LTE FDD and LTE 4G

Dual Sim, Dual Standby
Dual Micro-SIM

Dual-frequency Wifi
Wi-Fi support 802.11as

Will it work on this network? Is it compatible? Please help.

Thank you.

Based on what I can find for specifications looks like it would get 2G and maybe 3.5G (HSPDA) in some markets but other than that no. None of the LTE Bands are T-Mobile compatible;

TechnologyGSM / HSPA / LTE
2G bandsGSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bandsHSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
TD-SCDMA
4G bandsLTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500)
SpeedHSPA, LTE
GPRSYes
EDGEYes

Hi first for future posts similar to this i wanted to tell you the wifi doesn't matter and you missing the list of bands it uses. I google searched the device since you had it provided and sadly it is missing band 2 and band 4. The device would be unable to use a good chunk of t-mobiles network. However it does have support for its 2g network but thats not going to be much good for you unless you only plan on useing the device to text. I'm sorry if you any other devices you want me to look into just give the full name and i'll google them.

Thanks stevetjr for the information
