ii use a cellular modem for streaming movies from the web to my tv, but it is too slow and poor quality picture. Should i have the sim reprogrammed from data to phone to get more speed? Would an antenna help? Tiy, Bob

Well, SIMs aren't "reprogrammed". Rather they're "provisioned" which is really just a database entry at the switch. Sounds like you're running into T-Mobile's video throttling. What plan is that SIM on?

Hi, Bob! Just wanted to check in here and see how things were going. @drnewcomb2 is correct -- SIMs are provisioned for service based on what plan we place them on, but if you're using a hotspot then switching from a mobile internet plan to a voice line plan is unlikely to alter the speed you're seeing. What mobile internet plan are you currently on? Have you been able to reach out to our Care or T-Force team and see if it's possible that you've hit the threshold for a limited data bucket?

Hey there! Were you able to check to see how much data you have used on your plan? What plan are you on specifically?

Just wanted to do a final check to see if you were able to get things taken care of! 😊
