Working through multi vendor solution to enable MyQ app to successfully connect to Tmobile home internet. After long trouble shooting with Tmobile and Chamberlain, determined port 8883 is closed and the myq server connection requires an open 8883 port. Neither vendor is being responsive with a solution.
Hello all - I am really hoping someone here can help with some kind of a settings or way i can fix my hotspot so i dont have to go in to get a new one…I live and work full time in an rv, so i use several devices on several different carriers. So i use hotspots - a lot…. I have never had this issue though..My m2000 is connected and happy looking at the box. In the admin panel, everything looks totally normal. But none of my devices - mac, iphones, ipads, tvs….etc show it as an available to network. I tried tethering it directly to my laptop and that actually worked. Also it seems like it randomly powers itself off when it isnt connected to power.I am guessing its just dead and i am going to have to replace it - its only a year old, but RV life can be rough on equipment….Thanks in advance if anyone has any idea on things to try before i chuck it….Brian
Hi, all, I’ve just switched from Spectrum to T-Mobile and have installed their brand new 5G Gateway. So far, it’s terrific, with one exception. None of my Alexa Smart Plugs work since they operate on the 2.4gHz band and use the Tuya app. Is there a way to connect them to my T-Mobile wi-fi network? If not, are there any Smart Plugs around that will connect to Wi-Fi and the Gateway? I have a Linksys Velop AX4200 dual band router. Can I connect that to the T-M Gateway and disable the 5gHz band, leaving the 2.4 for the smart devices? Many thanks for your help. DG
I am buying a T-mobile inseego M2000 and already have a prepaid Franklin T9 with T-mobile. Can I take the sim card from the T9 and install it in the M2000? Some have said I need a different sim for the inseego device? Can the sim be switched back to the T9 if I choose to do so? Thanks
I just got my Inseego Mifi device today. I did the set up. Put the sim card in and fired up the device. It worked for 5 minutes before I got an alert that said Invalid Sim. I rebooted the device to get a “no service” alert. I had another sim card so I put that one in and activated it and dealt with the same thing. So I called tech support. I went through a process of rebooting. Then was told to pull out the sim, put it back in then hit reset. This seemed to work but only for 15 minutes. So this time I went through the process of pulling the sim card out putting it back in then turn on the device. This time it worked for an hour before I got the invalid sim alert again. I rebooted to get the no service alert. Did the who thing over again to have it work for 5 minutes before the invalid sim alert. Reboot. No service. This is not a cheap device so I’m getting really frustrated. What is up with this thing?

Has it occured to T-Mobile that anyone who needs a mobile hotspot (key word MOBILE), probably needs a hotspot with antenna ports. The T9 is obsolete. The M2000 is a up to date, fairly high end hotspot, moderately expensive and useless to me with no antenna ports. The useless M2000 comes with 100GB for $50. That’s a good deal.I have a Data Only T-Mobile sim card in my GL.inet spitz. It works fine, and I get 50GB for $50 . While Verizon and ATT offer 100GB for about the same price.Time to catch up T-Mobile.
My 5G M2000 hotspot was working fine for a few months. But now, I typically find it shut down; completely turned off. I can turn it on, but it turns itself off in a few minutes for no obvious reason. The behavior is the same if a battery is inserted (which is charged to 100%), or if it’s just using USB power.Has anyone else seen this? Thanks,Dave
