I’m downgrading from an iPhone to a flipphone. TMobile Team of Experts told me the Kyocera DuraXTP E4281 would be compatible with the TMobile network. So, I bought two. After several hours across several days, no one at Sprint, TMobile, my local TMobile store or Kyocera can tell me now, if or how the phone can be used on the TMobile/Sprint System.Apparently the DuraXTP doesnt have an IMEI. It has a DEC #, that Kyocera says is used instead of an IMEI. Both Sprint and TMobile say it has to be an IMEI and don’t know what to do with a DEC #.This confuses the heck out of me that no one has a definitive answer. I’d like to be able to use the phones if I can straighten this out. If it’s really not possible to use the phones on the TMobile/Sprint network I’ll mail them back.Has anyone successfully used the Kyocera DuraXTP E4281 on the TMobile network?

Hello. So my husband and I JUST upgraded to this phone TODAY, and his phone has NO sound at all in ANY app, and even the ringer volume isn’t working. We have checked all the settings, and all volumes are up all the way, and still nothing. It will vibrate when it rings, but there is no sound. Please help, as he uses his phone for videos all the time. Thank you!

I recently bought a new phone while on vacation outside the us and when i came back i put in the t-mobile sim and it says no service. I've tried most of the youtube solutions and none of them are working. The plan i am using is Unlimited LTE but it keeps saying no service on the top right of my phone. Please advise
After migrating the phone to T-Mobile, all was working except then when being called, if the call was rejected, a message was heard by the caller saying that the person is not a subscriber. However if we switched the phone from LTE to 3G, the issue went away.I called 611 and tried to explain the situation to the rep, and it became clear she did not how to solve it. After very firmly insisting several times that she transfer me to the next level of support, she did. I explained the situation to the rep and she was able to fix the problem right away.I hope this helps someone because I don’t think this is something that you can fix on your own, although it’s possible it would have fixed itself after a few days. Call 611, explain what’s happening and if they don’t understand or know the answer, just asked to be transferred to level 2 support.
We just upgraded my wife's phone from a Moto G5+ to a brand new bought from Motorola Moto G7. We switched the sim card and after 2 weeks we're noticing she's having trouble voice texting, sending an email, or accessing the internet when she's mobile. I reset the network connections and have rebooted many times, would we need a new sim card?
While watching TV I heard an extremely loud irritating sound just like the test for the Emergency Broadcast System that comes over the TV. I muted the TV and the sound continued. Upon investigation I found it was an amber alert coming from my Alcatel Astro Pop. It was extremely loud and unnerving. I would like to know how to disable it. I think it could be a real problem if it were to suddenly sound while I am driving. I don't need this distraction. TIA for any help.
Anyone using t-mobile Virtual Server and having it work? I tried even the basic settings and I can't get it to work. T-mobile says the feature is unsupported....but was curious if that means it just doesn't work.Right now I have it set to point to a simple www hello world just to get it to see if It will display anything.
I got an email asking me to update my CellSpot:I have a CellSpot V2 SS2FII Femtocell Multi-Band SOHO, manufactured by Nokia. It is connected to my home internet. The light is blinking green, indicating LTE traffic going through it. If I turn it off, my LTE service vanishes. So I think it's working fine. The link in the email goes here:4G LTE CellSpot setup & helpWhich says nothing about updating it.The femtocell version doesn't have a wifi network, so how am I supposed to update it?Thanks in advance.
Over the weekend my girlfriend and I migrated from Sprint to Tmobile. I got a new phone and she kept her Samsung Galaxy S8. She sent me a text telling me and I quote, "My Amazon app is gone Multiple voicemail notifications, but no voicemail random texts that seem like voicemail to text notifications." She followed it up with a screensht to show that one of her apps was completely Uninstalled. Is there any reason this would be caused by after migrating? Thanks.
I received a Franklin T9 Test Drive kit yesterday. Upon powering it up, it proceed to a message saying “WELCOME”, then almost connects to LTE, and reboots, over and over. If the sim card is not inserted, the T9 seems to function normally, with access to web admin. Tried resets, changing APN, removing sim card, etc. I’d really like to get this to work! Thanks!
Hi,My Revvl 5G updated itself to version 6B92UM20 this morning--a version which isn’t even listed on T-Mobile’s updates page--and now, whenever an advertisement plays on the screen, it does so at the phone’s maximum volume, even though Media Volume is set to zero. I even set Ring Volume to zero/vibrate, minimised Call and Alarm Volumes; and activated Vibrate for Calls, because why not? I hope someone can suggest some other way of preventing this phone from erupting with sound, because one game I enjoy plays ads from time to time, and I’ll never be able to play it again! Many thanks for any insight.
I know that this really is each person's personal opinion. But I'd like to hear what others have to say about those of us still using a Windows Phone. My first two cell phones were basic Nokia's from T-Mobile. Then when I went the smartphone route on my third phone I decided to stick with Nokia and got a Nokia Lumia 925 with Windows 8 Mobile. Then when an app I liked stopped getting updates on Windows 8.1 mobile I went with an Alcatel Idol4s with Windows 10 Mobile. So I've never had an iPhone or an Android phone ever. And I'm kind of stuck on what to do next, after my Windows Phone is no longer usable of course. Windows Phone is dead, so another Windows Phone won't be a viable option. But which should I get, Apple or Android? On the one hand I don't want to pay top dollar for an Apple. Sure, they're sleek and now have a good longevity record. But I feel like my phone shouldn't cost more than my laptop does. On the other hand I'm kind of mad at Google for killing the Window's Phone. Ok,
