I use a Franklin T9 hotspot to remotely control the thermostat in my cabin. Occasionally the power goes out for an extended period of time, and the hotspot battery dies. I then need to manually turn it back on again. Is there a way to set it up such that it restarts automatically when the power comes back on? Thx.
I am trying to set up the Timex watch Family Connect for my mother. I start entering everything but when it comes to the QR code, it doesn’t seem to be recognized. I have a call into the help desk but I thought I would try this first. I’m thinking it’s something simple but….
Searched Google, found a web page which then stated I had followed this path: T-Mobile.com > T-Mobile Support Devices > TutorialsI went to:https://www.t-mobile.com/support/tutorialsThe listed web page does not reference Home Internet devices at all. I have the Nokia Home WiFi Gateway and cannot locate support using the Nokia link on that page, cannot see any home WiFi gateways listed there. Why not included? I expect the home WiFi Gateways to be listed there, after all, it is a device.
I have a logitech headset that I prefer to use for phone calls. I can’t find it anywhere in Digits but is there a way to set audio preferences for just Digits? Ideally my normally computer audio would play through the speakers but I want to set the preferences in Digits for both the playback and microphone to be my headset. I know I can change these at the Sound settings level, but then I have to keep bouncing back and forth to change the playback source. In other IM clients I have that have calling features, they have separate audio settings that let you set audio preferences for just the app and that allows me to use my headset for calls and my speakers for the rest of my computer audio.
paid my mifi bill yesterday and refreshed my data limit. worked fine the rest of the day. woke up today and cant load almost any website on computer or phone i can it just feels like dial up and wont load videos even has issues loading sites. checked my mifi home page all seems good until i get through settings, advanced, inseego connect. thats where i find a status on my inseego that says its down. shippy part is that im in a financial rough spot and my phone is shut off so im wifi calling….on wifi that doesnt want to work but still does. cant find a chat system for tmobile. just hoping my call back clears the ship connection. any ideas on why this is happening or what i can do to fix it.
what if I’m getting over by T-Mobile from offering promotions that aren’t honored and $ discounts on devices which they don’t honor either, then having your browser keep crashing and applications especially T-Mobiles where the system changes your settings, blocks devices, wrong info etc…. Chaos for you and ends up costing you. I could go on I will, to getting a sim placed in you’re phone that you ported from old carrier company and the representative takes old sim out keeps it and puts new sim in device then pockets the actual SIM CARD with all the info needed if it locked out, puk code etc…. It’s almost Surreal, not sure if I want to be a member my old company was less the aggravation and deception. I’ve only been a real member for 2 days ?? And My account looks warped, what should I do?? It’s all documented in the sites chat room…
Where is the chat support for this? Anyway new gateway was a sure thing to beat up on my DSL service. Not any better. Only 2 out of 5 bars. The streaming is improved but the gaming is worse. So the data stream is wide but slow. Figure I sould wait on the phone forever to see if they can connect us to the nearby tower? Right now I am assuming the nearest 5G tower is not owned by T-mobile?
dear god…the first time we got this it was incredible. 300 mbps ethernet and about 80 mbps in the corner of the house on wifi. Of course this was great for the first couple weeks. all of a sudden it completely changes. the speeds would range from 13 mbps to 30 KBps, Kilobytes! Its so frusturating as my ping would also spike from 30 to over 5000. I read some forums on this earlier and what ive gotten a hint of was just to completely drop it as home internet. which is a shame because i have it as my mobile provider, which of course, works completely fine.
I keep ordering micro SD cards and I keep getting sent ones that would fit in the SIM slots (of course I don’t put them in there) but not into the memory card slot. The micro SD cards I keep getting that don’t fit in the MEMORY slot are thinner than what is needed to fit in it. I’m unsure exactly what to specify when next ordering attempt for a _memory_ card.Any ideas on that?(I could be safe and just buy it directly from t-mobile..but they charge an arm and a leg.)
Anyone else having trouble making their mesh system work? Hope this helps...Here is what I finally did to make my Amplifi HD mesh system and T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway play nice: I set the main Amplifi HD on bridge mode. Refer to this article for how to do that -https://help.amplifi.com/hc/en-us/articles/220979347-Enabling-Bridge-Mode. When I first had connected the T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway to the my Amplifi HD mesh system, the main Amplifi HD worked and the mesh nodes did not work. So I contacted Amplifi tech support (via email) and they said when there are 2 routers to use bridge mode on one of them, since 2 routers cause double NAT which may affect some services. When I called T-Mobile, they said that T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway does not have bridge mode. Therefore, I had to set the Amplifi HD to bridge mode. Now, it all works fine and I get the same speed throughout the house and on all the mesh nodes. By the way, my speed is usually around 60-70 Mbps down (
