Samsung galaxy watch 4

Hi all!

I just get the galaxy watch 4,i’m paying only for the digits plan of $10/month but the watch itself is free.

My question is,can i give the watch to someone overseas and will it work,i mean like receiving text,calls and everything and i am paying the $10 per month here?

If yes,how i am going to set it up.

Hi Manasay! As long as the person using the watch sets it up with the Samsung Wearable app on their device, I don’t see any issue with it picking up their calls and texts. There is some limitation with network capabilities, but usually it can find something since the range that it can get and the range that is broadcast usually has some overlap. 

Set up your Galaxy Watch4 with a phone

When you first turn on your new Galaxy Watch4, you'll see this message on the watch screen, "Get started in the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone." 

  1. Go to your smartphone and download the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store.
  2. Open the Galaxy Wearable app, go to the menu and tap +Add new device.
  3. The app will scan for devices. Tap your new watch on the app screen.
  4. Confirm the number on your smartphone and watch.
  5. Follow the instructions on your app and watch screen.
