T-mobile recently added n41 (2500MHz) as supported band.

Frequencies that can provide 5G:

  • Band n71 (600 MHz)
  • Band N260 (39 GHz)
  • Band N261 (28 GHz)
  • Band n41 (2.5 GHz)

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G (Chinese version) has this band too.

5G bands1, 3, 7, 28, 77, 78 Sub6 - Global
1, 3, 41, 78, 79 SA/NSA - China

Will it really work as 5G phone inside the US. ZIP code 78758 is a prefered area. If not, what is the max speed I can get with LTE?

5G is currently data only.  T-Mobile will still need bands 2, 4, 12, 66, and 71 for 4G LTE service to work.  GSM Arena lists the Chinese device as having 2, 4, and 12.  VoLTE and WiFi Calling will not work more than likely, leaving you with potential issues for voice calls.
