I have put in a request about 7 days ago 

to unlock my IPhone 13. I am a T-Mobile prepaid customer and, the representative stated I have met all requirements for my phone to be unlocked.

 

Unfortunately, I have been waiting about a weeks time in business days and have not yet received one email or update about this. I called again a few days ago hoping there would be some sort of resolution. To my surprise, there has not been one yet.

Because SIM unlocks for Apple devices can only be done by Apple.  T-Mobile sends the requeat to Apple and it is up to Apple to complete the SIM unlock request.  This can take up to 3 weeks and sometimes longer.  Have you reviewed the SIM Unlock Policy requirements to make sure your prepaid account and your device meet all of the required requirements?

Yes I have reviewed the requirements and they are met.

 

Thank you for the useful information on how the SIM unlock process works. Hoping this will be completed sometime soon!
