So I have a magenta plan and a few weeks ago I got that nice text telling me price will increase.

What really drove me nuts about it was how it was worded I cant remember the exact wording down to letter but it pretty much went like “For the First time in 10 years we have to raise the prices, Your plan will increase x amount”

First off you know how insulting that is @T-Mobile?  You tell every one you will never raise the prices, then turn around and do it and brag about how it has been 10 years? Really?  You said you would do not do it so it does not matter 10, 20 ,30 40, 50 years latter  is nothing to brag about it.  ID rather you sent a text saying sorry but we had to increase your plan or please take note plan prices are going up vs your saying well it has been 10 years.  When you say you wont do something then you just do not do it..

My issue is a little more depth I qualified for the promotion if you raised the prices I can leave your service worry free and no bills have to be paid but now you representatives are talking about a bunch of technicalities that would prevent me on taking advantage of that offer, or how they claim those offers do not exits.

I invite any one to reply to this post stating how they feel about there plan prices going up when they where told IT WONT HAPPEN.  I am hoping enough people will decide to speak out and maybe T-mobile wont continue the behavior, or at least take note for the next time they do this!

Please folks do not give up out there let T-mobile know you do not approve there tactics.  When you say something is going to be something you stick with not change it no matter how many years!!

Keep the ball rolling on this Call you states AG office or go online and file a complaint if available!

It is the only way you are going to stop T mobile from all this nonsense

No increases was always a lie, my bill has gone up more than once. Customer for over 10 years....I'm out after this joke. Bye bye t-mobile. No class action, just walking away...

AT&T is going to follow suit on increasing grandfathered plans and Verizon did it before Tmobile.

I remember back in the old AT&T Wireless days having the 100 minutes + unlimited text and roaming for $19.99.  For a long time it too did not change.  Then the unlimited text was still unlimited, but cost to send was $0.25/message.  Then the old “North America Package” add-on disappeared.

So too did the ‘unlimited 3G data’

Many (if not all) plans/restrictions are combed over and sold by sales/marketing, but the terms in micro-print are heavily scrutinized by T-Mobile’s lawyers and bean counters.

That being said, places like CA typically will go after businesses regardless, and often find some middle ground where the carriers will have to pay out for misleading terms.

I filed a complaint with the FCC. Yall should too.

Yesterday, a class action suit was filed in U.S. District Court, in the District of New Jersey, in response to T-Mobile breaking their promise to never raise the price we pay under their Un-contract and their Price Lock. It appears T-mobile is now trying Mod my post about this subject… They a re holiding up post for me to suggest to people on what to do about this issue!

Listen, these carriers will continue to raise their rates despite all the promotional intros. Its GREEDflation. Happens every time. Just take your business elsewhere to a discount carrier that uses one of the three main carrier towers. Look up all promotions for these and save a ton of money. Tmobile thinks $10 is no big deal per customer. We are fed up with all the egregious GREEDflation from every direction under the Biden administration.

It is about time I am so happy to see this...

Yeah I did take my business elsewhere as far as my cellular line goes. I get my home internet still with them, hopefully they won't start messing with it or that'll be the next thing to go and then I'll no longer be a customer at all of theirs..

I switched over to US Mobile, The best thing about it is is they offer not only T-Mobile service but also Verizon and AT&T. Even better  is my phone can work on all three networks. All i have to do is just choose which Sim to pop in from US Mobile. So far it's been great. Which allows me to not have to use T-Mobile tower so T-Mobile's making nothing off me in the end with my switch and I'm still getting the service I need at half the cost.

I'm paying 44.00 a month and I am getting 100Gb of data, 50GB hotspot, and unlimited calling and text. Sure I'm going with out all the extra nonsense stuff that T-Mobile offered me as a bonus for my phone line. But to be honest all that extra nonsense stuff I either can't use or already used the free year up like for example Paramount Plus or AAA.

And to be honest I don't want to hear anything about data prioritization either. I've been with US Mobile now for a month and a half and I live outside a large city that's congested a lot and I see no difference in my data priority between the two providers.

Oh and I don't care about politics. So sorry I can't support your claim on that one. I'm a equal opportunity hater when it comes to any major party or politician that we are forced to vote for lol 😆

I have opened a ticket with the FCC.  T-Mobile replied, but never answered or provided me with where in my contract the “Fine Print” says they can review my plan after X years and increase it.  If it exists why would they not send it to me or the FCC? I had requested it a few times but the have not provided it.  So those of you talking about the “Fine Print” please show it, because for some reason T-Mobile has not been able to do so!
