T-Mobile customer service reps and tech support will dodge the fundamental issue (poor 4G/LTE download speeds) using distractions about tickets filed against some local towers, signal variability based on location, or even hint that they can't help with my Nokia device since it's not provided by T-Mobile. It's been a somewhat effective tactic to keep my payments flowing for the last few weeks. So I performed additional tests to verify this is T-Mobile's problem, not an issue with my device or with local towers suffering from degraded performance. During the several weeks I've been spending a lot of time on the phone with T-Mobile support, I evaluated a new Google Pixel 4a (4G/LTE, not a 5G model), but the bandwidth was still coming in around 500kbps (0.5Mbps). Both my Nokia 6.2 and the Google Pixel 4a seems to start up in the 1-2 Mbps range but within seconds settle at 500kbps - almost as if T-Mobile is throttling the download. I should add that my Simple Choice plan includes 4GB of 4
It's not available for pre-order yet, anywhere. That (probably) won't occur until next Tuesday which is when Google officially unveils the device, even though Google has pretty much shown us everything about it already. Thank you for telling me this, but yes I already know all of this and I mentioned this in the original post. All I was asking is if anybody knows if it's going to be available for T-Mobile on the 19th. The reason I ask is because T-Mobile doesn't have any Pixel phone except the Pixel 4A and not even the Pixel 5.
you would think they would have announced its upcoming arrival like they do with for example the Iphone 13 launch/pre order page though. Google is having an event on the 19th at 10AM PT/1PM ET, and then after that I believe on the 19th is when the phones are going to be available for preorder. The only thing is I would like to know if anybody happens to know in advance before the 19th, if T-Mobile is going to have the phone. The reason I ask is because T-Mobile only has the Pixel 4A and not even the 5 and I also don't believe they carried any other Google pixel phone before that. To me Google and T-Mobile have been very distant with each other even after making the partnership back in March. Which T-Mobile has a blog post on their official website stating that they're going to support future Pixel phones and Google devices along with making Google messages the default messaging app across T-Mobile. Also I heard that T-Mobile entered a new partnership with Google back in March I bel
you would have to cross check which bands it covers and or doesnt cover..not to sure i have come across any of the Pixel lines that couldnt be used through TMO. Well I have done some research into bands and I'm getting some really weird answers which doesn't make me feel comfortable getting an unlocked version. Supposedly the band's match T-Mobile's network and it's supported, but many Pixel users have been complaining that they're getting kbps speeds. Which is what happened to me years ago on an unlocked iPhone on T-Mobile's network before they were officially available on T-Mobile's Network. So I'm not going to spend all that money on the Pro only for it not to work and then I would have to get another T-Mobile branded device or I would have to go back to my device that I have now.
Yeah I tried to ask through the Chat on Tmobile app and didn’t really get an answer. It seemed like the associate was more interested in pushing the Iphone or android I've been with T-Mobile 13+ years and I can say that if they try to push another device on you when asking for a specific phone release that means that they're not going to have the Pixel 6. Which please don't take this as a final set in stone answer, this is just my past experience and could've changed.
then again their iphone 13 pre order thread only came out a couple days before the actual pre order..so its still a possibility..just wont hear anything info wise until then. Also I do know of other devices that have been released in the past that ended up having their preorders start right when they're event was finished. This could be the same thing that they're doing with the Pixel 6. I just want to know if anyone to just give me a heads up of T-Mobile being an official branded carrier now, or am I just going to have to wait on to the event on the 19th?
Trying to find out about the 6pro from the Chat on the Tmobile app. Haven’t got through to anyone yet. Google was suppose to partner with Tmobile back in March and then all of sudden the pixel line disappeared. I never thought of doing this and I'm going to contact them in a little bit just to see what answers I can get. Which once I'm done doing that, I will let you know what happened.
Yeah I tried to ask through the Chat on Tmobile app and didn’t really get an answer. It seemed like the associate was more interested in pushing the Iphone or android It's just my luck that the T-Mobile app is not working for me right now. It's telling me to update the app and it directs me to the Play Store. When I go there it's already completely up-to-date and I cannot update it anymore. So at the moment I'm completely unable to open the app and use it. So unfortunately I can chat with an agent unless there's a web browser version of the chat.
So just received a message from Customer support team - they are not sure if they are carrying the Pixel 6 series however an unlocked version will work on Tmobile’s network. Hope that helps I really appreciate your help, but even though you told me what you told me I still feel weary about an unlocked version.
Yeah I tried to ask through the Chat on Tmobile app and didn’t really get an answer. It seemed like the associate was more interested in pushing the Iphone or android So I just realized that you can use T-Mobile chat on their mobile website. So I started chatting with this person and her answer was contradicting herself. First she tells me that she has no information if it's going to be available or not at any time even after the 19th. Then in the same message she tells me that once it becomes available it's going to be listed at this link she gave me, (the phone part where you can purchase phones on T-Mobile's website). I told her what do you mean once it becomes available if you told me you don't know if it's going to become available. She ended up being all confused so I just ended up ending the chat. Which I have no problem with them telling me no that it's not going to be available, that they do not know or that they have no information at the time to give me, but telling
For what it's worth... Before seeing this thread I had wondered the same thing... The lady I talked to on customer care seeeeeeemed like she was trying to tell me they would have them without being able to tell me they would have them... Convo went something like ... I don't know , we have no information but... On the 19th you should check out our phones sales page.... She's basically trying to tell you without directly telling you because she can't directly tell you. Which I will take that with at least a 90% chance, but I wouldn't take for a set in stone guaranteed 100% answer. Also thanks for responding and giving me the answer, which honestly to me that gives me a lot of hope that it's coming on the 19th.
Yeah I personally took that as a... It's coming but I can't say but who knows... That being said... I looked back at the rest of the thread ... Generallyt speaking (and I mean always with extremely few exceptions...) If a company makes a phone as an unlocked direct from manufacturer device... I.e. apple and their iPhones, Samsung and the Galaxy lineup. They will work without issue and have all the bands built in for all carriers. This has been the case for a long time. Example is apple sells various devices for various carriers but they are all the same phone. The only difference is that the ones for carriers are locked to that carrier for the purposes of carrier financing. But once the phone has been unlocked (i.e. you pay cash for phone or you payoff the lein) the phone is functionally the same to any carrier's network. The exception to this is when you see a device say... The LG V60 ThinQ which was made exclusively and marketed as such for att and I think maybe a Veriz

Also not trying to give you a hard time or anything just want you to be comfortable getting the phone you want. I should also mention it's pretty common for reps at stores to not get how the bands and network unlocks work under the hood. In all fairness they really don't have to know, they just have to know hey if you try to bring a phone here are you going to be happy with the result or not. But there's a technical layer under that that if you can get comfortable with you can do pretty much whatever the availbe tech and hardware at the time will let you do. I completely agree that they do not know about the bands and a lot of other stuff that I think they should know about. Also I'm very tech-savvy myself and know about all this stuff and this is exactly why I'm concerned. It's the fact that a lot of people have been complaining with kbps speed like I mentioned before and that leads me to believe that it's a band issue and it's going to give me the same issues. Just to be clear a

TMobile selling the pixel 6 and 6 pro screen protectors have already leaked. So they are definitely coming to TMobile. Hopefully shortly after the 19th... With good trade in deals without having to switch to magenta max .. hopefully. I did see the pictures of the T-Mobile's accessories brand GoTo screen protectors, but honestly I was taking it with a grain of salt because nowadays many things can be photoshopped.
Currently as of right now I'm having similar issues as you.1st when I tried to make the purchase on T-Mobile's website as soon as preorders became available, there was some type of technical issue that was confirmed by customer care who confirmed that with the IT department. Then about 3-4 hours later the website was working again and I was able to purchase the device. So after I completed the transaction I never received any confirmation email and any of my DocuSign emails that I should've received after placing the order. Which I was able to confirm on T-Mobile's website and through the app that I had an order processing. The order said that it was supposed to ship out on the 27th of October and then arrive to me in 1-2 days. Then yesterday the order changed the shipping date from the 27th to the 28th. Now as of this morning (10-26), the order has completely disappeared from the T-Mobile app on the home screen, under the orders tab and on T-Mobile's website after logging into my accoun
I went to T-Mobile’s site, logged in, checked my account. at the top right on the Support Pull-Down there is a link to check status of your order and it should list your preorder and estimated ship dates. And your Pixel 6 pre-order shows there? For whatever reason mine is not. I've contacted support 3 times but have the sneaking suspicion we will get to Thursday and someone somewhere missed a step in the order logging process. :/ I’ve specifically asked them to check that, and been assured its just because its a pre-order phone. Well, great, if your shipping time is 3-5 days then a phone being mailed for me to receive it Friday would have to ship tomorrow at the latest. So I would expect the order to surface. I've received phones directly from T-Mobile before earlier than the release date and even before the tracking number was able to generate as well. I'm not saying that this is your case, but I'm just saying that this has happened to me before so ma
Sadly, I too today experienced the “I reserved in the first few hours on the 19th when customer care had system errors but ended up not having an actual order”. Go into a store. General rule I learned today: If you didnt sign an equipment agreement that day, you don’t actually have an order that will ship. Until today, I had contacted chat support 3 times in the lst week. I told them I didnt get an equipment agreement. All three times they said “Don’t worry, we see your order in the system, heres the order number, on the day of release, you will get the equipment agreement email.” Sadly, after all this, the T-mobile team’s commitment to do right by their customers, came down to “Sorry, that really sucks, nothing I can do about it, I cant fix it, I cant discount anything, I cant even expedite shipping on an out-of-stock pre-order, you are back of the line.” Bonus: This t-mobile location is the highest selling location in the region and still wont get even 1 unit of the “pro” models
And before others suggest it, yes the store reps called the care line themselves. The rep on that end basically said “yes, we know a small number of orders were affected, they are in the wrong system, we cant move it over, the only thing we can do is cancel and place a new order in the right system”. Also I just want to let you know that when I call customer care when preorders first began they didn't know anything about it, they even told me that they're not going to have it. Then not even a minute after I hung up the phone, Chrome browser automatically refreshed the website and it appeared on their website. After that if someone was nice enough to take their time with you, then they would figure out that it was an internal issue on the website by trying on their computer and then calling their IT department who you said it was a website issue. I mean a lot of them told me on the 19th that it's the very first time that they ever heard of the Pixel coming to T-Mobile, whic
If you signed the documents, try putting your order number, if you have it into the customer care order check:Check and Track Your Order Status | T-Mobile Unfortunately I'm unable to do this because I didn't purchase the phone from customer care. Which even customer care on the phone or chat is unable to give me any numbers because again I didn't purchase it from customer care directly. When I'm on the phone with customer care, they told me last night (10-25) that shipment leaving date switched from the 27th to the 28th. Then this morning they said that they see the order in the system, but that they don't see any shipping date or any detailed information other than the order number that I've seen before in the app and once I logged in on the website until it disappeared (which blank information, or reverting from having information to blank information is never a good thing).
Which I want to be clear that from the 19th until last night I was able to see my order in the app on the home screen and the Order cast. I was also able to see the order inside my account on the website as well. Which is only been since this morning that everything disappeared for me and then when I call customer care everything is blank other than the order number.
T-Mobile is telling me that my order did go through successfully but it will not ship until launch day in the 28th and that is when I will be charged. I'm not optimistic. I was told different things by different reps. One told me that it was shipping out on the 28th, another one told me that I'm receiving it on the 28th, another one told me that I can get it anywhere up until the 28th and another one told me that I may not even get a tracking number because it may come faster than the tracking number is able to generate. Which this has happened to me before in the past with other preorders and I ended up even getting the device earlier before release day.
Update as of 9:30 AM ET on 10-27 I'm still not seeing my order. Also if I manually put in the order number and the rest of the info on T-Mobile's check order page I keep getting this. Also in the app and on the website under my account it tells me that I don't have any orders either. Which from the 19th until the 25th I was able to see my order on the app and website, then since the 26th all the information has completely disappeared.
