I just did a speed test. Inside I get inside 8MB download/3MB upload LTE. As soon as I walk outside I get 100MB download/30MB upload 5G. I just want something to bring the higher speed inside. You realize that a cell spot is off your internet connection? So if you don't have 100 mb download 30 up it wouldn't matter. My cell spot gives me 115 down and 50 up, but I have fiber. If that 8mb down and 3 up is off your cell spot than that is your internet speed. It also depends on where you live, if you don't live in the woods a cell spot is useless, every one will be connected to your internet at that point. There is no way to stop it. So unless you are rocking internet speeds over 120 down and up, there is no point in getting a cell spot. With wifi calling and text on most phones its meaningless anyways, because the 4glte cell spot isn't a good router anyways. The only thing the 4glte cell spot can do is shoot cell signals further than a router can shoot wifi. I stuck mine on my
I'm in the same situation as you and would love to see a 5g hotspot. Hang in there because it will come, and sooner than later. In fact, it will replace your current cable modem or DSL ISP. They're unique in the telecom industry because they don't own retro infrastructure that needs to be maintained, e.g. AT&T or Verizon. T-Mobile’s business is wireless. A 5G hotspot in your home would replace your current ISP with much faster and more reliable 5G. It will take a few years, but it's an inevitable change in the way we access the Internet, and T-Mobile is far better equipped to take advantage of it than their competitors. Full disclosure: I am NOT a T-Mobile employee, merely a shareholder. man that is 1000000 percent not ture at all, not even remotely close to reality. First this is talking about cell spots which work off your home internet. Second 5g wireless is limited like all the other wireless signals. If you think that they are just gonna give you unlimited 5g internet access
You realize right the cell spot works off your internet. If you have bad internet, or you live next to a bunch of people with tmobile, and bad internet its not gonna work. That cell spot shares your internet connection with every one, and they can travel quite a distance. When I had mine on the roof it went over a mile. I have a note 10 x2, s 20 ultra, razer phone 2, Sony Xperia, and a s9 and they all work fine. Mind you I have fiber internet and no one lives next to me. Adding in it isnt gonna work right if you have slow internet, and some one is using the internet. If you are maxing your upload or download speed of your isp, it is going to add 300 to 2000ms ping to it, adding in lte is already slow. My ping from my wifi 5ghz is 11ms, my ping from the 4g lte cell spot is over 40ms. My computers ping is 10ms. So if your normal ping of your internet is low end like satlite, bad cable, dsl, or any low end internet like that, then trying to add a cell spot isn't gonna work at all. Espec
Just call them back and talk shit to them, most of these scammers cant handle being made fun of haha. Also spam them back, just keep calling and texting over and over. They get angry and block you. I remeber one guy was like quit spamming me I am trying to work, I am like yeah scamming people isnt work downsyndrome boy, I spam called him about 10 times and he blocked me. So i got another number and spammed him again, and again. He disconnected the number haha. I dont get any spam calls any more, it use to be fun making fun of them and spamming them back haha. Make sure you call then worthless scum, that are so evil and shitter they cant even figure out how to make money with out trying to scam people. If every one did that, there wouldnt be any scammers any more haha. No one picked up on that number you showed, and thier anwsering machine is just random garbage, so i dono. All i can say is if some one texts me, or calls me that are scammers, I spam them back.
Not sure why you expect great things from tmobile. Its like going to the worst car dealer, and expecting you get a great car. Tmobile is litterally thr bottom of the barrel when it comes to phone companies. The only thing they got going for them is thier plan is 15 dollars cheaper than atnt and 40 cheaper than verizon. Thier 5g is garbage, thier 4g lte is garbage, thier 4g is garbage. Thier 5 g is the biggest scam ive ever seen, and it litrerally is worse than verizons 4g no not lte. Thier customer service is hit or miss, but generally miss. They just make stuff up as they see fit, but considering the huge lie about 5g what would you expect? Verizon eventually will sue tmobile, and it will get worse and worse till it goes out of business. Its only real service is keepimg the other 2 prices down, so basically all us tmobile customers are just a community dumpster pile that imsurance atnt and verizon customers have a lower bill. While we get garbage everything.
Why not just buy a fm radio, they are dirt cheap. I just bought a lg boom for 100 bucks. You could buy a even cheaper one. Amazon had one for 20 dollars. Why would you want a old garbage phone that is slow, has security leaks, will never be updated, no oled, for a 20 dollar radio.
Stop lying haha, you know very well tmobile singal isnt fast enough to go over their limits haha. Whats even more hilarous than that though is, they will cap you when they steal your internet and give you service with their cell spot. Ive done it downloading 60 gbs on my cell spot which is stealing the bandwith from my internet and they cap it.

I already have enough stuff in my pockets as it is. Wallet, phone, keys, and now a radio… That’s more pocket bulge and another device to keep track of. What will almost certainly happen is that I’d end up going through all the trouble of carrying this device around for in case of emergency and the day I forget to grab it or I lose it or I just get plane sick of carrying it around will be the day I need it. Sure, having a smartphone with all it’s nice modern features is, well, nice. But the main reason for having a phone IMO is for safety. I want to be able to call someone if I have a flat tire, if my kid gets injured and ne
Most phones are capable of receiving FM broadcasts. It is usually the OEM’s that don’t provide the app or software to receive them. The only OEM I am aware of that purposely blocks devices from making use of the FM signal they receive, are Apple devices. In the Play Store, there are FM Radio apps that don’t use data to stream you local radio. Perhaps give one of them a try to see if they get you what you want. Man most phones dont even have head phone jacks, which makes them not fm capable. No modern phone has fm radio. All samsung phone from s10 to ultra 21 dont. The last tablet with a headphone jack was the s6 tablet. The new one plus dont have radios, liberm 5 no radio, google phones no radio as he says he has one, so most phones are not capable of fm recieving. The accurate statement is no modern phone has fm radio.
True, i guess my defintion of modern doesnt equal yours. If it doesnt have a 120hz oled, 1440 plus resoultion, snap dragon 865 plus, and 6gbs of ram it isnt modern to me. I mean minus the lg one all those other phones your talking about would be beat by older phones. My razer phone 2 with a 120hz led screen would beat all those phones minus the lg. So i dont call low end phones with gsrbage cpus worse than snap dragon 835 which is 4 years old a modern phone. The snapdragon 845 in the s9, note 9, and others would demolish all those low end phones. So one modern phone the lg 60 has a fm radio.
I will help you complain. I have “free wifi” at the apartment building I’m living in and it works fine...most of the time...at nearly 800mbps. The times it doesn’t work, I must use hotspot, at 144.4mbps. Barely usable for 480p video. If I’m paying 50 bucks a month for unlimited data/text/calls, I should get decent speed. o.o 144.4mbps is “Barely usable for 480p video”? 4K uncompressed video tops out at around 40mbps for its data stream. Even 8k video requires just a little more than 144.4mbps being around 160mbps when uncompressed. 1080p is approximately 10mbps on the top end and 480p sits nicely around .5mbps. I’ll agree that throttling VPN connectivity is bad, but either the numbers you put in there are VERY wrong, or you’re not seeing the behavior you claim. Its because tmobile caps video streams. Also 4k uncompressed video does not top out at 40mbps, that isnt even 1080 blu ray quailty, which is over 50. 4k blu ray players are way over a 100, and all of them are comp
