Welcome to Tmobile home Internet! You'll find out that it's probably not worth the money. From reading posts in the forum it's either really good or really bad.
I've had Tmobile for 18 years. They have gone from absolutely the best cellular/Internet provider to right there in the garage heap of bad products, terrible services, and questionable business practices. In the beginning you couldn't pay me to switch service providers. Now I'm in the process of checking out the competition. There are some good alternatives to what Tmobile expects customers to put up with. They don't bother sending me surveys anymore. I tell them that no I don't or wouldn't recommend Tmobile to friends or family.
I saw where one lady actually filed a complaint with the FCC because her Internet was in and out for a long period of time. I complained so long and so loud they cut the monthly fee from $50 to $30 for 3 months. I really don't know how they get away with this crap.
Thousands of us have these kinds of problems with the Tmobile Internet. I honestly think that Tmobile doesn't care anymore as long as they're collecting money.
Is your reference to #1 from The Prisoner?
No I have the Nokia. After reading other posts it seems that this is an issue with a lot of gateways. It honks me off that Tmobile claims to be "working on" these issues. I spoke with one technician that all but said they knew that these gateways had problems but released them anyway. I find it interesting that the software for these devices has never been updated.
This is my second modem.
